Reka is amazing! Currently coming here for laser hair removal treatments and a mole removal. After the first treatment, I could already see the difference of less and much finer hair coming in. The appointment is super quick and gets less painful with each treatment. If you can only get one area lasered, do your underarms! I used to be self conscious of my underarms because of the dark spots that were there even after I shaved and now they are completely gone. I was a little skeptical about getting my mole removed since it was above my eyebrow but in a couple months you won't even be able to tell it was there! Since it scabs up immediately after the treatment you have to be patient and let it heal on it's own. Reka is fantastic and let's you ask a million questions and has a ton of great suggestions for other products to help with your skin. This is a really nice, quiet, and intimate spa. There is no fair way for me to review Winter Park MedSpa without admitting that I am getting laser hair removal...but I am ethnic, and thems the breaks. Reka is the owner and very knowledgeable about the treatments. She will share her own experiences with you, if you ask. This is painful. Don't be fooled by any advertisements on the radio or TV...it hurts like a mofo. However, the MedSpa sells a medicated topical cream you can put on 45 minutes prior to treatment that helps a lot. BE SURE TO BUY IT BEFORE YOUR FIRST VISIT OR YOU WILL HATE YOUR LIFE. Also, they sell exfoliating pads, makeup, lotions, potions and more. They won't push the product on you, which is rare...but it also means that you might miss out on something that could really help. Buy their exfoliating scrubby thing...it's about $15 and AMAZEBALLS. I've been searching for the perfect brow place since moving to the Orlando area three years ago. I really didn't think it would be this hard! After whining and complaining bitterly for what felt like forever, a friend turned me onto Juliette at Winter Park Medspa. The place itself is lovely; however, it is hard to find. I thought I passed it, so I pulled into a drive-way to turn around...only to stumble right on the place! The biggest revelation, however, was Juliette. She was awesome! I have been coming here since 2012 (yes, I'm old - 64). Most of the time I receive a deep cleansing facial. My skin is oily and I have large pores. Reka has removed skin tags, age spots on my face, hands and legs. My skin has never looked better. I get complimented on my skin all the time. Just heard from a former client of Reka's that she can't find anyone in Miami that is as good. I love that Reka is passionate about what she does. Her initial training in Europe takes three years (U.S. - 9 months) and she's always furthering her education and training on new equipment. This review is primarily for Juliet. I have actually been going to Juliet for several years now, since before she was with Winter Park MedSpa. I go to her for waxings and facials. Juliet is always friendly and professional. I have actually been stopped by people on the street just to tell me that they "like my eyebrows" and when I get facials from Juliet, people tell me that I am glowing for days... need I say more? Jaclyn at the front desk is always friendly and professional as well. Everyone there is knowledgeable about their products and services. The spa is always clean. Awkward experience and poor customer service. Did not meet with the practitioner, instead met with receptionist where she discussed pricing. Found this discouraging and left with lots of questions. Emailed the owner my concerns on laser hair removal for darker toned skin and received a disturbing phone call from the owner. My needs or concerns were never addressed, nor was I welcomed to return back for another consult. I felt unwelcome and dis-serviced to say the least. First came here through the groupon for laser hair removal. From the outside it looks small and just average, when you walk in its a wonderful relaxing place the ideal "spa". The staff is great, everyone is really nice and they take time with their customers. Also when I go for my appointments I never wait more than five minutes. If your going to get the laser hair done though and have a slightly low tolerance for pain I do suggest you purchase the numbing cream. read more

I can't say enough good things about this facility! Initially I had bought a Groupon and went 100% convinced I'd do three sessions and be done. Within 30 minutes of being there, they didn't "sell me" I was insisting I needed to sign-up for the black diamond premier service. My first day I had fractal laser, botox and vitamin B shot. I loved the ladies. All very kind and attentive. I only wish all services were available at the WP location (truesculpt and facial have to be done at their other location and no massage chai in WP). I posted my review just like many people do online. I was surprised and saddened by the replies/ threats I received. Please see below for our correspondence. Me in response to their first response which can be seen after my review: You must have me confused with someone else. I never complained about gas money and never talked about personal problems. My tech was always polite and did a good job. I don't want to get something for nothing. I paid and was very polite to the staff. When I called and had to change from the Sat appt to Fri I asked if there were any openings, wasn't pushy and I was always early. I was upset about all the appointments being set up without asking me if they worked for me and when I ask sick and couldn't come I wasn't treated with respect. I was treated as if I was causing the biggest inconvience in the world and I called about a week in advance to be polite. You also didn't start seeing clients for a few months after the deal was bought. I haven' t done anything illegal by posting my opinoin online so no need to threaten me with legal action. Winter Park Med Spa's Response: Julie, this is not a social web-site or a blog. You're slendering our business publicly and it will have serious consequences whether you like it or not. We did not start treating clients for 60 days because that's how groupon is set up.(no payments for 60 days.) In your case, we rec'd $8.50 / treatment and you were treated the same as all the other 1000 Groupon clients. For $8.50 we listened to your nonsense just to be slendered after completion. We would have loved to pay you more not to come near us had we known about your unhappiness. Changing appointments constantly is not possible when you have over 1000 clients for 6 treatments ea. You could have communicated and gotten your $100 back at your 1st visit. You completed all of your treatments and now you're slendering our business. We can't afford to let you get away with it. My evaluation of this Med Couture Spa is real simple. They took full advantage of our unavoidable misfortune. We don't dispute that we signed a year agreement but we do think there should be a hardship clause in their contract. For critical health reasons we lost a lot of money. It would be better if Diane would be more accommodating to her long time customers and she might have kept us. I feel Diane needs some education in the area of human relationships. It is my opinion that she is certainly proficient in the area of sales but lacking in the ability to keep customers. It would have been nice for her to have extended our membership for the five months of critical illness but I guess the almighty dollar wins every time. Ill gotten dollars bring bad karma? As far as the services I am noticing that other customers have complained about limited services and appointments only every two weeks.
