Ok so we recently just booked a party package here for my nephew's birthday and we all had such a…read moregreat time! So Andrettis is an indoor karting, laser tag, and game room located right next to the Convention Center on International Drive. This place definitely was easily accessible from the main road and had plenty of parking in their private parking lot. So on the day of our event, upon arrival, we were greeted immediately and checked in quickly and efficiently. The staff were all very kind and helpful! The party room was located in the back of the building and was a pretty spacious room, with its own private bathroom. For our birthday package we opted for the laser tag, and arcade option for the kids and it kept them occupied for a few hours. Now for the food, I was very impressed by the quality and presentation of all the items we selected! Yes the food was just your average fried bar food... but I thought everything was super fresh and all came out very quick. The pizza, wings, and cheese curds were outstanding! Lastly, our party attendant was top notch! She was very attentive, had great communication, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I will say that even though the birthday package at Andretti's is a bit on the pricier side... we thought it was definitely worth it... my nephew had a very memorable birthday!

As you can see from my review history, I usually leave positive reviews when I am impressed and…read morerarely post negative comments when I am disappointed. However, I feel compelled to write a negative one in this case. On 3/6, I purchased two Gold Packages for myself and my 13 year old daughter. Each package includes two races. The representative who helped us explained that if we only completed one race that day, the remaining race would be stored as a credit on our membership cards. We therefore used only one race on 3/6. When we returned the next day, the representative at the counter, Desi, told us the next race would start in about six minutes. However, when I presented our membership cards, she said she could not see the remaining race credit. She then began asking questions such as whether we had purchased only one Gold Package and shared it, and whether we had receipts. It was clear she suspected we were trying to misuse the system. She continued questioning us for several minutes until I finally asked her to call the manager. While the manager was looking up the information, I logged into my credit card account to show proof of purchase. When I approached the counter with that information, the manager said rather casually, "Oh, we already found it." Unfortunately, by that time we had missed the race we could have joined and had already spent about 20 minutes standing at the counter. No one initially apologized for the inconvenience. When I told the manager that Desi should apologize, the manager responded, "It was not our fault. It was a system error. Sorry." Desi then said, "You did not even give me a chance," and tossed the race tickets onto the counter before trying to walk away. When I said that if I had not asked for the manager she likely would have continued questioning us suspiciously, she responded in a hostile tone, "If you want to take a picture of my badge, you can." The entire interaction was unnecessarily confrontational and disappointing. System errors can happen, but how staff handle them matters. A simple apology and professional attitude would have made a big difference.

Because, he had to challengers. One opponent pulled up to the line against him. Then backed out saying something was wrong with his car. There was 2 brave opponents that did challenge him. But, to no avail. He was just to fast. We were there as his guest. It was such a God given blessed night. The weather was about 70 degrees with a light breeze. The people was so friendly and welcoming. Between races I walked around the park and ran into some of my Masonic Brethren. I ran into business owners, that I grew up with their parents. As someone who lived in Okinawa, Japan, and spent years around some of the best drifting in the…read moreworld, I wasn't sure what to expect from this event. I have to say--I was genuinely impressed. The drifting itself was absolutely incredible. The drivers put on an amazing show, the action was nonstop, and I had an absolute blast. If you're a drifting fan, this event is definitely worth seeing. Unfortunately, the facility itself is a completely different story. The biggest issue was parking. Getting in wasn't terrible, but getting out took nearly 40 minutes. The parking areas were muddy, covered in grass, and swarming with bugs. By the end of the night, I was covered in mud and mosquito bites just from walking to and from my vehicle. Another major frustration was the restroom situation. The facility has permanent restrooms inside the building, yet employees were stationed at the doors preventing paying customers from using them. Instead, everyone was forced to use portable restrooms and restroom trailers that were overwhelmed by the crowd. The lines were incredibly long, and for a venue charging admission, this made no sense at all. Food options were limited and very expensive for what was available. The grandstand seating also needs serious attention. The benches are old, uncomfortable, cramped, and offer no protection from the Florida sun or rain. Everyone was packed together with very little personal space. The sound system was another disappointment. Much of the commentary was difficult or impossible to hear unless you were sitting directly next to a speaker. Then, instead of being clear, it was simply too loud and uncomfortable. What makes all of this frustrating is that the event itself was fantastic. The drifting was exciting, professional, and entertaining from start to finish. The facility, however, feels neglected and badly in need of upgrades. With the crowds these events attract and the money being generated, it would be great to see some investment put back into improving the overall experience for fans. I would absolutely return for another drifting event because the on-track action was that good. I just hope the owners recognize the potential of this venue and make the improvements it desperately needs. The drivers and fans deserve a facility that matches the quality of the show being put on.

My AB students were SO excited to use their reward and felt super proud of themselves the entire visit. Sadly the jump area had already closed down, BUT the staff handled everything so kindly and made sure my other child still got to enjoy. One child did go-kart round and my other child got 2 hours of arcade time. That alone turned what was disappointment into a really fun family outing. The employees were patient, friendly, and genuinely nice the whole time -- which matters so much when you're out with kids. Complex is easy to get to being a part of Disney with parking being an ease. Pick a sport, name a sport... ESPN got with their huge baseball complex and indoor arenas. The many dozens of outdoor fields can hold many games at the same time. Although the field quality can be better but it's not horrible considering the amount of traffic and events they hold so kudos to the ground crew for keeping the field quality decent considering the amount of usage weekly. The complex is organized and easy to get around. Wish they would strongly enforce a harder trash mandate to ensure patrons pick up after themselves as more often than none, teams and patrons leave a mess around bench's and team sidelines after each game. Although it's not ESPN's fault and more on the citizens attending events to clean up after themselves. They have several food outlets and vendors and food trucks for those long days on the field. With the hot Florida sun, love that they have watering and hydration stations around the fields with plenty of water coolers to help athletes stay cool and hydrated. However, I wish they have more shaded areas and maybe even covered spectator viewing areas or benches as the sun can be brutal so come prepared with your own tent or umbrella, etc Overall, attended many events and competitions at the venue and it's always a great facility and they always put in a great show overall!
