We appreciated the attention given to us by two young women (Gus was busy with a guest's birthday party) who guided us around the property and used our cell phones to take pictures of our ride - lots of pictures and videos! Herding calves around the corral was a cute experience while my wife pretended she was a "Rawhide" drover. i Highly recommend this for those who are young, infirmed, or novice. Our guides were friendly and lovely people to spend time with. We forgot our own bug spray (BRING BUG SPRAY. BRING IT.) but they had their own and let us use it, which was very kind. We saw deer on the trail and butterflies. Our party had a seven year old and their horse was lovely with her, very gentle and rode nicely. Catastrophe struck during our ride- my phone fell out of my pocket on the trail! Char and Kathy went out and rescued my phone, so now I can write this review. Overall, me and my family are very satisfied with their horses and the service of riding on this trail. Them helping to save my phone on their own time was super nice, they helped us take family photos while we rode. Couldn't recommend them enough! You'll have lots of fun! Upon our early/Punctual arrival, Barb and Robert were still preparing the horses for our trail ride, so my husband and I took a little, exploratory walk around the ranch. We were able to meet several Horses and a very sweet Goat. One of the horses is Ziva... she's an absolute Lover! We returned back to the stable to meet our Horses, Dancer and Houston. Dancer was my Riding Buddy and he was a very good Boy. I Love Him. My husband was paired with Houston, a beautiful Painted and also a very good Boy. Barb and Robert assisted us with mounting and briefed us on what to expect of the trail as well as our horses disposition and preferred methods of control, i.e. DO'S/DON'TS. They were Super Nice and Funny TOO! The trail was beautiful and serene. WE HAD SOOO MUCH FUNNN!!! AND Will Definitely Return , as we are local residents. I'm so pleased to know that I can travel just a few moments down the road and feel so far removed from the hectic bustle of Disney. I Can't Wait to go Back. Wonderful guides and horses and amazing scenery!…read more The last time I road a horse was over 30 years ago, but the patient guides and horses at II Ventures put me at ease. Dancer knew the trail well and kept up with the other horses so I could enjoy the beautiful Green Swamp and some great conversation with the owners. II Ventures would. E perfect for new and experienced riders, families, singles, young, older, or whomever wants to ride. I highly recommend!

This is a nine mile multi-use trail. It includes 2.2 miles of paved trail along 301 near John B…read more Sargent State Park (where canoe rentals for the canoe trail are offered) and an additional 6.7 miles of unpaved trail (off road type not single track). There are some bridges and parks along the way with picnic tables. The area is pretty buggy!!! So come prepared. Sections of the trail are for bicycling, horseback riding, hiking and inline skating. Leashed pets are allowed. Bring bags and scoop yo poop. The area is near Fort King Road that was used during the Second Seminole War (between Fort Brooke in Tampa and Fort King in Ocala). De Soto is also believed to have traveled through the area and to have uses Indian trails. Fort Foster remnants are in Hillsborough State Park.
