The rice was the highlight as it was infused with a tomato base (?) and lots of different seasonings. The beef skewers were so good and the sauces they provided on the side added additional depth -- I think one was a vinegar garlic oil and the other was a pepper tomato paste. Absolutely delicious! The service was inviting -- I believe they are a small mom and pop's type of vibe. I love how the person who took our payment personally shook our hands thanking us for stopping by. Such beautiful hospitality. The restaurant itself seems romantic with the dim lighting and spacious dining area. Would recommend for a date night or some casual dining with good company.

Since the building was built in 1890 and is under monument protection, the new construction of the brewery was a real challenge. The brewhouse and each tank had to be built and developed in such a way that they not only brew the best beer, but could also be brought into the building and fit into the available space. They have their own beer as well as offer Hacker Pschorr beer here. It's a gorgeous old building that used to be a train station and the interior is spacious and warm. I assume they have an outdoor Biergarten for summer and so on. The menu is fairly extensive with most classical Bavarian food on offer. They also have a selection of drinks besides beer. I settled for the Wöllner Schnitzel which was made with pork that had a mustard coating. It was really good and I loved it. The Kaiserschmarrn we had was also quite ok. The service was good and friendly and overall it was a great experience. I would happily come here again. It's great beer and the food is also quite good here. It's just a stones throw from the S Bahn Station. A great find recommended to us by a friend who lives near here.
