An absolute blast! I highly recommend Wisconsin Skydiving Center. They do their best to make sure you feel comfortable and safe. The hanger is such a chill environment with music, couches, and an outdoor section with picnic tables so you can want the divers come in. My fiancé and I went for our first tandem skydive, and it was wonderful. I also recommend getting video of your dive. The videos turned out fantastic! read more

Anything I would say in this review would simply be a repeat of all the other reviews. My wife surprised me with a jump for our tenth anniversary, and I was a little surprised because I'm 63 and a paraplegic. The staff was incredibly nice and supportive, making me feel extremely comfortable. Every single employee made me feel very welcome and my entire experience was incredible. There's only one chance to have your first skydive, and I'm glad it was here. By the time you jump it feels like you're jumping with your best friend strapped to you. The building is a hanger that is comfortable to be in. You're invited to walk around at will, look at things, walk outside, sit in the couches, watch other's jumps, it's just very relaxed. The owner, Bo, has about 14,000 jumps under his belt, and he's right there with the rest of his crew jumping with customers. You can tell he's passionate about the sport and his business. My instructor, Milan, was great, and as nerves go when you're about to jump out of a plane, they seemed to dissipate with him. Everyone was so nice from Sara, who jumped to take my video, to Alex (co-owner), who answered all of our questions. I'd suggest to get the photos/video of your dive, because you will barely remember the free fall, plus it's cool to show your friends. There's just so much going on during the fall that you cannot comprehend that you are falling out of an airplane. It's about 40 seconds but it seems to be about five. Milan opened our chute, and demonstrated the capabilities of it, and gave me control for a bit (totally nerve-racking). After the dive, they invite you to use their gas grill and cookout if you wish (BYO food). My only suggestion would be to have another grill or two, as when we were there, there was a big party that used the grill, so we had to go to a park. We would have liked to stay and enjoy the day there. All in all, great place, great people, great program. This place was worth our 2 hour drive. read more

This place is awesome. The owner's passion for skydiving really keeps this place alive. I took my first jump July 2012 and thought that the preparation would just be to review how to strap up and dive out, but he took it a step further to mentally prepare us. It ended up being a peaceful and liberating experience that I will never forget. I bought the DVD of my first jump and although it was around $80, I'm so glad I did. They edit it right there for you so you can share it with loved ones. Group rates help keep the costs more reasonable and if you initiate the group rate you get a great deal. read more

When it comes to putting your life into hands of professionals. You can NOT pass up the safety record of this place. A lot of people shop for 'cheapest rates' but to be honest, I recommend the HIGHEST QUALITY AND SAFEST place in the country. And boy is the quality there. The staff from the moment you walk into the hanger is there like running into your old family you haven't seen in 10 years, VERY comfortable atmosphere. After you fill out your waivers and start your class. The instructor is excellent at helping you find that inner peace with what you are about to do. He walks you through step by step, on what to expect, and how to handle it. this only takes about 30 min. After that you get suited up, and paired up with a tandem instructor, they go over a few things and you are off and jumping. My appointment was 10:00 to be there, I was 3rd plane up in my group and I had my jump done by 11:00. They keep there schedule and are VERY courteous to their guests. And then there's the jump itself. I could write for the next 5 hours and not even come close to explaining. If you are reading this, you HAVE TO DO IT. Stop thinking about it!!!! OH BY THE WAY, Bring some food and drinks and kick back after your jump. They let you have a cookout at the hanger. this place deserves 10 stars not 5!!!!! read more

Words cannot even begin to describe what I felt today. From the moment I walked into the hanger, there was a sense of electricity in the air. I felt so at ease from the very beginning. Loved loved loved every minute of the experience at Wisconsin Skydiving center! I came with a group of 12 people from Forte Research that my boyfriend works at. It was a very windy day and Wisconsin Skydiving Center put up an amazing fight to get everyone up in the planes to skydive before the wind got to bad. My boyfriend Jake and I were the last two to Skydive and we unfortunately had to come back the next day as the wind got to bad. When we cam back the next day the team was so awesome and efficient to get us right in the front of the line and be the next up to Skydive. This place is only here to get your money. I booked my dive 3 weeks in advance and it turned out the weather was extremely gloomy and chilly and rainy and they wouldn't reschedule for me. They told me it was completely fine to jump in that weather and "we can't turn back time and jump in the middle of July" the owner told me. Yeah, I wasn't expecting them to have the ability to transport me thru time. And although it is possible to jump in those conditions, it is not something you want when you are spending hundreds of dollars on an experience you want to be enjoyable. Alex, the owner, made me feel like she was better than me and talked down to me like I was a child. I would NEVER recommend going here. There are other options and way better scenery than this place to jump. read more

Safety is #1 here and that isn't always true of some jump zones. Bo and Alex are the best and have established a wonderful,family friendly experience around skydiving. I picked this place originally for the location but it turned out to be more than I could have hoped for! I decided to jump out of a plane along with my son for my birthday. My friend and I were starting our cross country road trip in California when she suggested the crazy idea to go skydiving during our trip. We kind of laughed at first, but then we knew we had to do it! We researched a lot of places, but I am so happy we ended up coming here! The day of our jump, you could tell as soon as you walked through the front entrance everyone here was one big family. Everyone was so helpful, fun, and cared about each and every person in the center. While we waited for our turn we drew with chalk and watched other people jump from airplanes. Waiting with us were dogs and other family members of both the jumpers and the people who worked here, it was one big crowd filled with people to cheer you on. Once it came our turn we ran some drills and they explained what we were going to do once we got on the plane to go skydiving!! Weirdly enough we weren't nervous to jump out of an airplane, mostly because the people here explained everything and made it seem like a safe thing to do. Anyway, we are both so so happy that we came here, to the Wisconsin Skydiving Center, to jump out of our first airplane together!!! read more

Outstanding tandem jump today with Bo and his crew! They did a great job for us. We really enjoyed ourselves in what was a thrilling, once in a lifetime event. Obviously, it's dangerous, but I was never uncomfortable with their work. If you're in the Milwaukee, Madison or Lake Geneva areas and really want to try the craziness that skydiving is, it's probably the best skydiving business to go to. I was injured after my 1st jump. I received 2 compression fractures on T11 T12, after my jump the guy I jumped with asked if there was anything he could do. I said a shot of whiskey would be great! He took me to the back of the building, opened a cupboard, got a bottle & poured a shot for both of us. We drank those & he went back out to jump intoxicated with the next person. They also deleted comments from my Facebook review. I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy. read more

I can honestly say that I love this place and agree with the many reviews that the staff treat you like long lost family here. The hospitality is amazing and they welcome you with open arms. They are professional, hilarious, and truly value YOU, as the customer's experience as priority. This was my first skydiving experience and it was everything I could ask for. I felt safe and secure with my tandem instructor, Milan, who calmly guided me through every step, treated me like a close friend, and never tried to pull a "sales pitch." My party of 2 arrived at 10:45am, were promptly checked-in and signed off on all the waivers. Once everyone who made reservations at 11am arrived, our training started with a video walking us through the entire process from jumpsuit to the actual jump to landing. Charlie was very reassuring and made this entertaining as well as informative. The training lasted about 30 minutes and then we waited about 1.5 hours for our turn (there were 4 people ahead of us). At about 1pm, we were introduced to our instructors (Milan was awesome), suited up, and walked through models on to exit the plane and how it felt to be in our harness. At 1:30pm we boarded our plane and it took 15 minutes to get to altitude, we had a nice chat to get to know our instructors during this time which made the experience all the better. The jump was simply amazing and we were allowed to control the parachute too on the way down which was awesome. Once we landed, we were shown our pictures/video and enjoyed quite a few laughs with the staff. They were just as excited as us and could really relate. We hugged, hi-fived, cracked jokes and really brought this experience to another level. Thank you to Charlie, Milan, Bo, Dan the amazing camera man and the rest of the staff who made this experience the best. Overall, it was a well spent 4 hours on a Saturday. They truly prioritize safety so if the weather is not favorable, it really is out of their control. They will do whatever is in their ability to make sure you have a good time and get to jump though. This place truly represents the business model who cares about their customers much much more than the money.
