"I went because I did not want withdrawals.......but real true benefit was the grooves in the…read morerecord of my addiction were filled in, and it allowed me to create a new 'song' in my brains behavior." That testimonial from a former patient of the Ibogaine Clinic was the turning point for me when it came to my decision about the clinic: I'm not entirely sure where to begin, but I want to share something that *may not sit well with everyone. I'm a parent to three boys, all very close in age, with just 35 months between them. When they took up something, they did it with full enthusiasm and always together, whether it was little league or video gaming. As they entered adolescence, they also entered a world where drugs were readily available in schools and on social media. I've become all too familiar with rehabs and the recovery system as a result. *And, I have to admit, I'm no longer a fan. After years and countless trips to adolescent and eventually adult rehabs, I dug deep and discovered that they had a mere single digit success rate. At that point, it seemed like there were no other alternatives. In June of this year, my youngest son tragically passed away due to Fentanyl poisoning. He had been "clean" for 47 days, except for the use of Suboxone, and was waiting for a bed in yet another detox/rehab when he lost his life. His older brother (the middle child) and he were deeply entrenched in addiction to Fentanyl and Suboxone. Naturally, all three had explored the full spectrum of available drugs that today's society offers. Unfortunately, the younger two eventually ended up at the most dangerous end of the spectrum: opioids. At my youngest son's funeral, I expressed my belief that we, as a society, must find a solution to the easy access our kids and young adults have to these highly addictive and dangerous chemicals and substances. Following the funeral, a lifelong friend approached me and shared her experience with Ibogaine and how it had helped her a few years previous. I initially approached this with skepticism and apprehension, but the more I delved into it, the more hopeful I became. My primary concern of course, was the potential risk, particularly the risk of death associated with such a treatment. After extensive research, I learned that this risk is primarily associated with the use of the RAW Iboga root. However, the Ibogaine Clinic and their approach to treating addicts using pure Ibogaine extracted from the Iboga root, and that they also have medical professionals on site, overseeing and ensuring the safest and most effective treatment possible; these facts led me to the Ibogaine Clinic. My surviving middle son has now been back from the Ibogaine Clinic for two weeks. He spent 10 days there, and all I can say at this point, that it's nothing short of miraculous. I haven't seen him like this in a decade. He's vibrant, filled with energy, and motivated to make his life better and more fulfilling. We exchanged daily texts while he was undergoing his treatments, and I could witness his progress with each passing day. He's now actively engaged in an excellent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) since his return. Please don't misunderstand me; I deeply appreciate and support the concept of recovery groups and their valuable assistance. What I don't agree with is the notion that "relapse is part of recovery." Perhaps it held true in simpler times when 12-step groups were helping alcoholics and substance abusers, but today, relapse carries a high risk of fatality. My youngest son lost his life to relapse - as does so many opioid addicts. Certainly, Ibogaine isn't a magical solution for completely transforming opioid and alcohol addicted individuals. However, it possesses the capability to 'reset' the brain, allowing the addict to genuinely address the root causes of their addiction without the burden of withdrawal symptoms. I believe a combination of using helpful substances like Ibogaine, coupled with Recovery groups (Sober Living, IOP, Etc) has huge potential for saving many of our loved ones and the millions of Addicts in the world, today. Ibogaine Clinic is a safe and sound option to explore and consider. NOTE: I am not a doctor, nor am I in the medical field. These are only my personal views, and an experience based on one person, not medical advice. You should do your own research and consult with experts before deciding what treatment is most appropriate for you or your loved one. Also, this is an independent review and I receive no incentive for submitting it. I only hope others can find the freedom and recovery my son is experiencing. P.S. Cole was our Intake Rep and we never could have made it to Cancun in time for my Son's scheduled treatment, without Cole and his calm, expert guidance!

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share this experience for the sake of others…read moreconsidering treatment here. After traveling internationally and investing significantly in this program, I experienced a serious boundary violation involving a staff member touching me inappropriately and making unwanted advances during a vulnerable recovery period following treatment. I reported the incident directly to management What has been most disappointing is the lack of meaningful follow-through afterward despite repeated efforts to resolve the situation privately. Recovery patients place enormous trust in clinics like this. In my opinion, stronger accountability, supervision, and patient protection measures are critically important in these environments.
