    Braised Lamb Shank

Came here on a Saturday night with some friends. We ordered some apps--the Brussel sprouts, deviled eggs and some fritters. The deviled eggs and Brussel sprouts were delicious and would definitely have again. I had the black currant margarita and it was incredibly strong. I honestly didn't like it at first because it was too strong but over time the ice diluted it and I made sure to keep mixing it. For my meal I got the grouper and that was really well seasoned and a pretty big portion as well. I ended up taking it home. One of my friends ordered the chicken and another ordered the lamb special --which was amazing! Overall a good place to try a slightly elevated southern cuisine. Our server was also great, pissed I don't remember his name though. There is valet parking but I actually decided to just find street parking which isn't too bad if it is not a super busy night.

I have really mixed feelings about this spot. Parking is valet, but you can pay via online tools & it's simple. The atmosphere is nice, but tables are quite close together/packed in. Service was fantastic. Wine and cocktails/mocktails list is solid. The food is not bad, but also doesn't excite me. My pork dish had so many ingredients, and I simply prefer simpler dishes. The corn fritters are not like a bread option, and I sort of wanted bread. I think southern food & I want simple dishes, and these are just a bit complex. That's fully just a personal taste preference, though!

One of the best experiences I've ever had. Valentines Day reservations were made. Valet parking was available and we were able to head on in. Once we got there we had to wait a little bit for our table so we (I) had a drink at the bar. It was delicious! Not too strong but enough to get you feeling good. We sat toward the back of the restaurant and it was very cozy even though the restaurant was packed. We started with an order of corn and green chili fritters with the bee pollen honey butter. These were so good and I truly contemplated ordering more. We also had the calamari. This was so delicious and the presentation was so colorful and fun! For entrées I ordered the grilled pork tenderloin w/ sweet potato puree, apple walnut relish, and crisp onions. My husband ordered the iron skillet half fried chicken. Since he doesn't eat pork he swapped the collards out for sweet potato puree and kept the corn pudding and mushrooms. We also ordered a side of Wisteria mac and cheese to share. This was such a good meal! Everything was fresh! My water never was empty. My wine kept coming and it was the perfect way to start the night!

I went here last Saturday with my husband and a couple friends for my birthday. I've always wanted to try this place and the menu looked great. Well, Wisteria did not disappoint! I love the fact that they had a spirit free cocktail list because I don't drink and I always feel so left out when my friends are drinking and having fun. We ordered the onion cheese fritters for an appetizer and they were so delicious and savory. For dinner, I ordered the pan-fried chicken with stewed mushroom collards and cornbread---everything was fantastic! I couldn't even finish my dinner. We skipped dessert and I got a second glass of AF Rosé and my friends ordered another bottle of wine. I left full, happy, and look forward to going back. Markie was our server and she did a wonderful job describing the menu and making recommendations. She frequently checked on us but wasn't overbearing (which is what I like). The ambiance was perfect---relaxed but busy with gorgeous artwork on the wall in a rustic chick setting. I look forward to going back there with my husband.

I used to love this place before COVID. My repeat visit this time was underwhelming. The good- desserts are excellent especially the banana pudding and flourless chocolate torte. Great cocktail and wine selection. The underwhelming - I ordered scallops and it was unfortunate over salted. Food is mediocre and nothing exception to write abt the presentation or taste. I hope they were having an off day and this was an outlier

    Shrimp & Grits

All the boxes checked at Wisteria. Great service, great food, great ambience. Some of the best shrimp I've ever had. It was fresh, buttery, and perfectly cooked. In my opinion, shrimp is a deceptively difficult thing to prepare. But this rendition was absolutely perfect. The grits were creamy, and really tasted of corn. So often grits are bland or just taste of a bunch of cheese mixed in. But this dish was thoughtful and really complimented the shrimp. I've never tried a grilled Caesar salad, but I am a convert. They didn't grill it too much, just enough to add some smoky flavor to the lettuce. The thinly sliced radish was a nice element of spiciness, and the creaminess of the dressing tied everything together. Perfection. We had a fun and engaging server who provided quick service all evening. Highly recommend this spot!

This was a hidden gem in a charming neighborhood. Our server was a great guy! He had a sunny disposition, really helpful, gave great recommendations and made the experience nice. The food was impeccable and unique. Amazing wine selection.

    Herb Crusted Grouper

Pretty little restaurant in Inman Park. Parking is no problem because they have free valet service (but please tip!). The old brick walls, spacious seating, and modern decor with white tablecloths and butcher paper are inviting. Service was prompt and friendly. And the herb crusted grouper with grits and asparagus was one of the best things I've eaten in quite a while. We're looking forward to going again!

    grilled pork tenderloin

Our visit to Wisteria left much to be desired. When we entered the restaurant for dinner, there were several empty tables. We ordered the watermelon salad as an appetizer with the grilled pork tenderloin and pan fried pecan crusted trout as the entrees. We also had two mocktails, which I don't see on their menu online. Our one comment on the mocktails was that they tasted as if they were missing something - alcohol. They tasted as if they needed the alcohol to be delicious, which defeats the purpose of a mocktail. I thought that my drink in particular was too sour and not very pleasant. The waiter was very kind. Mark took good care of us and gave solid recommendations. The pork tenderloin was something that was recommended and that was delicious. The pecan crusted trout wasn't recommended, but I was curious to try it. I mention the recommendations because it seemed like Wisteria is good at specific things on the menu, while there are other items that fall flat. The trout was a big disappointment. The pecans didn't really make a difference on the fish and you couldn't really taste it. The fish only really had flavor when paired with the sauce, which was on the sour side when eaten on its own. We would be willing to come back if some friends invited us to try Wisteria, but we would not be willing to experiment with their menu. The watermelon salad was tasty and refreshing, but wasn't anything spectacular or original. It was a refreshing appetizer to whet your appetite on a hot day. Overall, Wisteria definitely seems to be more bar focused than restaurant. I would recommend coming if you mainly want somewhere to chat with friends over drinks with food on the side. Personally, it will not be my choice to return.

Curtis was a great waiter, and the food was marvelous. Hubby said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had and I thought the shrimp and grits were the best I've ever had.

We then moved into the dining area where we had four tables next to each other. The lounge area has festive decor and our server did a great job taking care of my group before we arrived. The dining area has a more subdued decor. There were other groups celebrating and we still felt like we had a room to ourselves. Once seated, service was also excellent. They had several staff dedicated to us. Water, apps and wine service was quick and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious. I had many compliments on both the food and wine. For starters we had Tuna Tartare Chips and greens (salad). Both were excellent. For mains we had the salmon and roast chicken. Brussels sprouts and whipped potatoes for sides. Finally cheesecake bites for dessert. We served their Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir with the meal. Everything went perfectly. Just the right amount of food and wine. (7 bottles for our 20). Their contract is written in a way that makes you think you might be rushed. But that was not the case in practice. We had plenty of time to meet and greet at the lounge before being seated. And plenty of time at the tables. We felt we received an excellent value for our dollar. Highly recommended for a special event. I worked with Kate Chandler who is their Event Manager to plan the event. This was the first event like this that I have planned. She made it easy and offered advice when I asked. The restaurant itself is in Ponce City Market on the first floor. Plenty of parking and valet is available.

There's a huge front patio (this is typically where trivia takes place on Thursdays), space inside, and a rooftop with plenty of heaters to keep you warm this winter. Funnily enough, I'm not a beer drinker, but they have some cider and cocktail options that due the trick, but I've honestly had better. As for the food, I've really only ever tried their smokehouse burger, Asian-style loaded fries, and chocolate chip cookie skillet. The burger is super juicy and perfectly cooked, while the sauces and crispy bacon married it together. I've tried the Asian-style loaded fries (pictured below) twice now, and I honestly don't recommend it unless you like your char siu pork to be drenched in salt. It was nearly inedible both times. As for the chocolate chip cookie skillet, it was delicious, I practically inhaled the whole thing! The thing that honestly keeps me coming back is just the overall vibe of the place! It's always lively since it's right on the Beltline, very staff member I've encountered is so chill and great, and it's just such a fun spot to just chill out with your friends!

We waited in line outside to order, after our turn came the little point of Sale terminal touchscreen thing(tilts and pivots) was facing us showing another customer has just finished paying and it had a green checkmark The I think he was a bartender had wandered off, didn't acknowledge us at all, and was talking to another bar tender for upwards of 5 mins, so I assumed because it was a touchscreen and was facing us it was self-service. So I hit the x on the screen to close out of the other customers transaction, and the bartender rushed over and started berating me with "what are you doing you don't touch that" and even had the audacity to ask "you didn't put anything in did you?!??" At which point we explained and placed our order with drinks took the flag with the table number to go sit down After which, the bartender came to our table and was somehow even more of an asshole, and told us that "you're supposed to wait for these diet cokes I can't bring them to you" We were both quite angry. This person is awful. I don't know why anyone would behave this way with customers. It's not acceptable and reflects quite poorly on the establishment that this person works there. We wish everyone the best but will not be returning in the future. I don't recommend anyone eat here.
