Came here in a party of 3, since the two friends I came with highly recommended this spot for dinner. I had walked past here while exploring midtown Manhattan, and I don't think I would have come here alone, so I was delighted they invited me. We were freezing, and this sounded like the perfect dinner for a chilly night. As a witchy hotpot lover, this is my first time visiting a hotpot restaurant dedicated to topokki, AND I love this is witch-themed! They have powders for a bunch of soup flavors you can mix and match. My favorite ended up being black bean (Dark Alchemy), which I mixed with creamy tomato (Love Potion), and Level 1 Spicy Mix (Ember Charm). Protein costs extra, which is kind of unfortunate, but we had plenty of delicious options to devour. They have a wide variety of noodles and veggies, a whole ramen bar, and even offer pizza, fried chicken, onion rings, and potstickers. We left stuffed AF.

Love the AYCE topokki, they have lots of good sides like buns, eomuk, and fried chicken. I like how you can customize the topokki sauce, would definitely try the curry powder next time. Good deal for the price!

Very good ramen and appetizers, service was small and good, the on your own aspect was cool, the ice cream was so good, and the ambiance was great

Honestly a bit overhyped, but I also came in fully prepared to spiral into carb heaven - so I can't pretend I didn't sign up for this. The AYCE spread leans heavily on rice cakes, noodles, and starchy sides, which can get repetitive fast. But the inclusion of fried chicken and other savory bites was a much-needed break from the carb overload and definitely appreciated. The space is fun and chaotic in a good way: floral ceilings, cartoon murals, and a vibe that's kind of like eating in a fever dream. Great for a one-time group hang if you're down for an aesthetic overload and a rice cake binge, but probably not a regular spot. Sadly, no food pics from me because I handed my phone to the front desk to charge... only to find out later it never actually charged. So the only thing full that afternoon was my stomach loool

A korean buffet with hotpot self cooking! For a very reasonable price! Staffs are pleasant and really takes time to explain if you are a first timer! Delicious foods! Ample of spacing between tables. High chair and koala kare seen. There's also a photobooth inside! Accepts credit/debit card. Highly recommended. See images and video for reference.

Such a cute Topokki place! Location is not difficult to find. As someone who is NOT from NY and the best with directions, we found this place pretty easily. Once you are seated, the friendly staff will help you go through the process. Our server walked us through how to choose our base, and gave suggestions. We chose 2 scoops of cheese and 1 scoop of carbonara. They have a good variery of rice cakes, banchan, RAMEEEN! We paid for about $60 for 2 people and that includes 2 drink, tax included

Love AYCE ($29-dinner), so def wanted to try this. Service is good. There is a time limit, although not sure how long. First, you choose your seasoning from the seasoning station. Seasonings include: jajang, mala, beware, rose (creamy & sweet), carbonara (creamy), etc. I got Rose dance which was too spicy for me. I shuda gotten 1/2 serving of the spicy Smurf seasoning. Besides the ramen section, we got stuff from every other section. We got way too much food & only ate half, so glad we didn't get ramen. For a tteokbokki spot, I got no plain tteok cuz there's such a variety of food: They have a whole deep fried & fast food section: 2/5 roasted sweet potato: extremely sweet 3/5 deep fried surimi, deep fried pumpkin (sweet) 3/5 corn pizza: I don't like corn on pizza, but this wasn't bad. Glad there's no bbq sauce on it. It could definitely use more marinara tho. Tteok & sausage skewers, which we obviously didn't try cuz not halal. Looked good tho. 1/5 calamari: extremely bland. Teriyaki sauce helped. 3/5 onion rings (crispy), fries, sweet potato fries, fried seaweed roll (stuffed with rice, don't recommend getting cuz will fill you up) 2/5 fried veggie fritter: the only veggie I tasted was sweet onion 4/5 We liked the seafood, veggies, noodles, tofu that we got. Most of the stuff above is pretty standard. They do have 3 different types of stuffed tteok which look like tiny sausages that I've never seen anywhere else: 1/5 corn cheese rice cake: This would taste so much better w/o corn. 3/5 sweet potato & pumpkin stuffed rice cake 2/5 japchae- way too much bell peppers, strongly smells & tastes of bell peppers only 2/5 pasta: hard I can't help but compare this place to Spring shabu shabu. This place is def better in terms of the seasonings, since Prince only has 2 vegetarian broth options & the plain veggie broth is so bland, whereas the kimchi broth is so spicy. The fast food, fried food, pasta, japchae, veggie chicken, fried rice & fruit options aren't available at Spring. However, this place doesn't have the variety of veggies, tofu , noodles & sauces available at Spring. I like both places. I'd def come back here & skip most of the fast food so I can finish the veggies, seafood & get more tteok next time.

it's be a long time since our family have been in Manhattan. we had a mini adventure and dined here for lunch. I've seen this concept on YouTube in Korea..love the idea of AYCE. So, we can try everything that has to offer. The staff is very welcoming and showed us how to flavor our broth. there's a couple of cook options like Korean glass noodles, fried rice, and of course rice cake. my wish was more veggies and different type of fish balls. there's also a lot of instant noodles options to try if you don't like rice cakes.

If this place has no fans then I'm dead. I always make sure to stop by here at least once when I come to NY. The all you can eat buffet is around 38 per person (for dinner, a little less for lunch) and they have everything you could want. As a vegetarian, I was worried about the soup, but they have a separate option for us. The first time I came, I made the powder ratio wrong, so defiantly ask for help. All the fried snacks were delicious, and I love how you can add ramen to it as well. Make sure you come here really hungry so you can try everything. I would also recommend having some fruit at the end of your meal for a nice light dessert.

Such a fun place for topokki! Delicious food! All of the topokki was superb! I like how you can cook it for as long or little as you like- I prefer mine on the al dente side. I particularly enjoyed the cheesy one and liked how the pumpkin one was slightly sweet. Also in love with the sweet potato glass noodles. The broth seasonings were tasty as well. Very flavorful and I enjoyed the wide selection of side dishes. Corn-cheese pizza was good, but my favorites were the fried sweet potato and candied sweet potato. The pineapple was a nice palate cleanser at the end of the meal. I really don't have anything negative to say about the food. Obviously, the fried food is going to be a tad greasy, but it pairs surprisingly well with the topokki. Overall, yummy food, very filling, and a great price for all-you-can-eat! I would highly recommend you give Witch Topokki a try! Service was also good- everyone was super friendly!

The video says it all. Kudos to our server for his calm, clear and concise demonstration. Go with the staff recommended sauce first and then venture to try alternative mixes. K pop videos on the wall, cool seating fave a feeling if eating outside in Korea.

I have to admit, I was thrown off by the whole Witch theme until I figured out the witch is boiling her concoction in her cauldron, just like the customers and their custom-made hotpot's. OK, I guess. Regardless, the food is great here. Lots of variety and plenty of fresh ingredients to throw into your own cauldron. I made two trips to the ingredient buffet and each time came back with an extra plate of fried goodies to fill my belly. And I topped it off with the make-your-own ramen, too. Buffets can be hit or miss - many places the quality is low or the variety is too minimal to make it worthwhile. But Witch Toppoki is a pretty good value for all the different things you can get at one meal. Give it a try!

Fun dining experience for sure. We arrived at 12pm for lunch on a weekday and got seated right away. Our server was excellent and gave us an in depth tutorial on how things work since it's our first time here. The little bowl is for you to create your own powder mixture that you add to water in the hotpot to create the soup base. We followed the Rose Dance recipe and enjoyed this flavor. Do note that the longer your hotpot boils the more flavorful the broth becomes since it becomes more concentrated. The big bowl is used to grab the cold buffet items (topokki, veggies, seafood, fish balls) and the plate is used to grab the fried buffet items. I liked the seafood, which mainly consisted of mussels and squid but was not particularly impressed by the topokki since they all tasted the same but just came in different shapes. The only one that really stood out was the sweet cheese ball. Loved the glass noodles as well but the ramen and fish balls were pretty basic. The fried food was ok. Can't really go wrong with fried food but you can tell some of it had been left out for a while since they weren't crispy. Fried chicken was good! The pizza gets a lot of hate but I didn't find it terrible. Overall, I had a good time here and enjoyed the clean and spacious dining environment and attentive service. Prices aren't expensive for buffet but at the end of the day, it's very cheap food that you're eating here so it's not really worth the price IMO.

The effortless tranquility encourages you to slow down, enjoy the food, and get away from the everyday, hubbub. Their menu leans into fusion dishes with a nod to some of the classic home-style classics. Everything is presented with a refined, elevated touch. Here's what we ordered: ~ Tako Wasabi - 5/5 stars A fiery delight. This appetizer feartures chopped raw octopus marinated in wasabi. It has a lively zest from the wasabi and is topped with tobiko, which adds a pleasant contrast in texture. ~ Honey Makgeolli - 4/5 stars A traditional fermented Korean beverage that is light and pairs brilliantly with your meal. It is a cloudy alcholoic drink served in a metal teapot, and surprisingly, there is much more in that teapot than you would expect. It easily provides six to eight generous pours. The flavor is subtly sweet with a pleasant tang. ~ Temaki Set - 4/5 stars You can order a set of three by choosing from selections 1-17, or you can order a la carte at the listed prices. Some of the temaki stood out more than others. Our two sets included marinated salmon, bluefin tuna, spicy yellowtail, spicy bluefin, and two dynamite temaki. ~ Spicky Pork Ssam Set - 5/5 stars Truly another standout entree that even surpassed my beloved grilled BBQ bossam. You received a generous basket of assorte greens, including romaine, kale, perilla leaves, dandelion leaves, nappa cabbage, and more. It is well worth the price and makes for a fun, interactive dining experience with your family and friends. There is also various banchan offered and this time, they were beyond kind enough to offer refills. The last time we were here, we ordered just as much food and they stated they normally did not offer refills, which I thought was very odd. With its casual bougie aesthetics, this spot has quickly become one of my favorite eateries in Fort Lee-lee, It beautifully blends Korean, Japanese, and American flavors in a way that feels both comforting and elevated. Needless to say, we will be back!

We walked into a warm and inviting space that feels comfortable for both casual meals and group dining, with a dining room that balances a contemporary aesthetic with the familiar energy of a neighborhood spot. The interior is thoughtfully designed, with a layout that accommodates both small tables and larger groups without feeling cramped, and the lighting and décor create a relaxed, approachable atmosphere. The food was one of the strongest parts of the experience, with the dishes feeling thoughtfully prepared and well balanced. We ordered the bossam and found the meat tender with good accompaniments that added layers of flavor and texture to each bite. The kimchi pancake had a nice texture and flavor, with a crisp exterior and a savory, slightly tangy interior that held up well against the dipping sauce. The hot pot options were also enjoyable, especially on a colder day when we wanted something more comforting, and the broth had a depth that made the dish feel complete. The banchan selection added variety to the meal and helped round out the table with different flavors and textures, from the familiar kimchi to the more subtle pickled vegetables. The restaurant also does a good job with dishes that are meant to be shared. Items like the croquettes, grilled dishes, and larger plates make it a good place to come with a group and try different things rather than ordering individually. The dessert options are also worth considering, with items like the tiramisu and black sesame ice cream adding a nice finish to the meal, the black sesame flavor offering a nutty, earthy note that paired well with the sweeter elements. Service was another highlight, with the staff being attentive and keeping the meal moving smoothly even when the restaurant was busy. They checked in at the right moments and offered guidance on the menu without being pushy. Since it is a popular spot in Koreatown, reservations are recommended, especially during peak dining hours. The atmosphere can get lively, but it still maintains a comfortable dining experience, with the noise level staying manageable even as the room fills up. Her Name is Han is a solid choice for Korean food in NYC, especially if you are looking for a place that combines traditional flavors with a more polished dining experience. The combination of quality dishes, welcoming atmosphere, and good service makes it a restaurant worth considering for both casual meals and special occasions, offering a meal that feels both thoughtful and satisfying.

We got the large beef combination platter which comes with ribeye, thin skirt, brisket, marinated kalbi, and marinated chuck flap. Most people stuck with water, while a couple got ginger ale. I ordered the soju flight but I ended up not liking it so my cousins shared it. The meal comes with different veggies as well as your choice of soup. We got the spicy tofu and split it 6 ways. The spice lived up to its name, so I didn't eat very much. The best part was meat. Despite there being 6 of us, there was plenty to go around. I think you have the option to cook it yourself or have them cook it for you and we chose the latter. While I enjoyed it, I wish there was more space. Most of the space was taken up by the accompaniments that come with it (veggies, etc), so there was hardly any room to put anything else. It didn't help that none of our dishes were cleared once we finished them and that no rice is included. Aside from that, both the food and service were great.

We walked into a stylish but relaxed space that feels suited for both casual dinners and a night out with friends, with an atmosphere that balances energy and comfort well. The room gets lively when it fills up, but the noise level adds to the experience rather than detracting from it, making it feel like a place built for sharing and conversation. The food is where Hojokban stands out. The complimentary banchan sets the tone for the meal with flavorful sides that add variety before the main dishes arrive, each one thoughtfully prepared and offering a different texture or flavor profile. The gomtang soup is one of the more comforting options, bringing together tender meat, a rich broth, and classic Korean flavors in a way that feels hearty without being overly heavy. The galbi dishes are also a highlight, with the meat cooked well and carrying the sweet and savory balance that makes Korean-style grilled beef so enjoyable. The portions are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is noticeable across the board. The menu has several unique dishes worth exploring. The truffle potato pancake is one of the more memorable items, combining a familiar Korean staple with a richer, modern twist that adds depth without losing the essence of the original. The perilla oil noodles are another standout, offering a lighter but still flavorful option with a distinct nutty aroma that lingers on the palate. The beef tartare adds a more refined element to the meal, fresh and well seasoned, while dishes like the ramyun fried rice bring a fun comfort food element with bold, savory flavors. Together, the menu covers enough ground that you can build a meal around both familiar favorites and more creative choices. Service is friendly and the overall experience feels welcoming rather than overly formal. The staff are attentive without hovering, and they handle the busy flow of the restaurant with a pace that keeps the meal moving without feeling rushed. The menu is designed for sharing, and the portions make it easy to order several dishes across the table, allowing you to try more of what the kitchen has to offer. The lively atmosphere adds to the meal, making it a good fit for group dinners where the energy of the room matches the pace of the food. Hojokban does a good job blending traditional Korean flavors with a more modern dining experience. It is a place where you can come for familiar comfort food while still finding dishes that feel creative and different. If you enjoy Korean cuisine and want a restaurant with a little more personality, this is a spot worth checking out. And the entrees were delicious and even with other tables almost on top of each other it never felt crowded due to partitions that I saw them remove for some larger groups needing tables "together", and I never felt part of someone else's dinner convo. Presentation was amazing and food was delicious - Soon Tofu Soup with seafood for me, which arrived bubbling like a cauldron. It came with a raw egg that you crack into the soup and let it cook to your level of doneness. Hubs got hot stone bibimbap and as we all know the crispy rice is the best part of it... it's just tough to separate it from the actual stone dish so you can eat it, especially if you wait until it cools and fuses. If I was there with more stomach space I wanted to try the galbi, and in fact there's a weekday lunch combo that could facilitate that.

The Ssambap Set was incredibly satisfying. The beef was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the fresh lettuce wraps, rice, banchan, and soup. Every bite was well-balanced and packed with flavor. We also ordered the Mixed Katsu Set, which was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and cooked to perfection. It came with generous portions and made for a comforting, filling meal. The restaurant has a modern and welcoming atmosphere, the staff was friendly and attentive, and everything arrived fresh and beautifully presented. If you're looking for a delicious Korean lunch in NYC's Koreatown, Jeong Yuk Jeom is definitely worth a visit. I'll be coming back to try more of their menu!

The galbi-jjim was perfectly tender like I could literally pull it apart with my chopstick. The addition of the rice cake, pumpkin, and pyogo mushroom were a nice touch. The soy sauce base was a little sweet and if you take a bit and pour it over the mushroom sotbap, it is soooooooo good!!!!!!! The mushroom sotbap is so umami. There is foie gras in it which maybe be in a little overpowering for some people but I really enjoyed it I could easily eat a whole bowl of their freshly made kimchi. It was perfect. Not too salty or spicy or fermented. Literally perfect!!! I actually asked for seconds. The cold cucumber broth was really refreshing Highly, highly recommend making a resy!! There's a main dining room and a mezzanine. I sat at the mezz and got an amazing view of the main dining room. Service here is amazing. The only thing that I thought was a bit of a shame is that there's a $10 cake cutting service PER PERSON, if you wanted to celebrate a birthday. We got their fried chicken, beef tartare, 2 galbi jjim, and their bossam. Everything was phenomenal. While I think we could've skipped the chicken, the galbi jjim is a must-try. Cocktails are also great here. Amazing dining experience, food, ambiance, service, and I highly recommend.
