Although I have someone at home to watch her, just staying home all the time was proving to be more harmful for her than not. Enrolling her into the 2K program here was the best decision I ever made. Sure, it is pricy but it was well worth it. She was receiving more than just adequate care. It seems like all the teachers/staff/administrators know every child by name. She cried for the first couple weeks and kept her distance from everyone but she was soon able to crawl out of her shell and make some friends! She started speaking more at home (won't stop now lol) and would tell me who she played with and what her teachers (Ms. Julie and Ms. Mei) had taught her. When Ms. Mei helped to fix her hair, she would not let me touch it! Same with the stickers and tattoos that she received. She would treat them like her greatest treasure. And no matter what it is that I ask about -- "who taught you that?", her answer is ALWAYS "Mei Mei". That only shows how much love she received while she was at school and she has grown so fond of her teachers. It is also great that the teachers are able to speak Cantonese. I want to encourage my children to stay bilingual. I was excited to see Chinese (Mandarin) as part of the curriculum but unfortunately it is not in the 3K curriculum... I love the updates I get at the end of the day -- pictures showing me how she was doing. Seeing those pictures really makes my day. She is now in 3K with Ms. Anne and Ms. Karin and I cannot wait to see and hear all the good things about this school year from my daughter!

This is my first time trying to find a day care and I'm already feeling sad that I have to even to do this and go back to work. I then received a text stating that they've been trying to get in contact with me but I never received any missed calls from them. I am more needing a general price so I can see if it's even affordable. This what they told me. Also on this yelp page they advertise you can get a price quote, but they don't give you one. They just want you to come in for a tour this is false advertisement. Don't say you're gonna give someone a price quote and then turn around and say you don't discuss price online LOL being a parent your time is very limited as it is and you telling me you want to give me a tour without telling me a general price is wasting more of my time

The previous owners were amazing. The daycare was taken over by a woman named Alina and that was the worst thing that could've ever happened. When I first met her she very nice but that changed quickly. She started to tell me my son needed to be evaluated to get services at the time he was 2 years old. I went forward with getting him evaluated the doctors assured me nothing was wrong with him and he wasn't autistic. I came back with the documentation for her and she told me he needed to be evaluated again. I went back to the doctor they sent me to another facility that would give me services. we got him evaluated again luckily we got our biggest blessing a few months into him having the occupational therapist she told me i should move daycares everytime she arrived they would have him sleeping and the other kids would be playing. That was the first red flag. he was also the only African American kid at the school. So she told me pop up to see what they would do day I'm getting him early blah blah blah. After a few weeks of this Alina tells me he needs to get evaluated again the doctors aren't giving the right diagnosis. my therapist said remove him from that school I enrolled him into A2z on ocean parkway and my therapist started to see him there as well within one week my son started speaking. That was the scariest thing ever. that school was terrible and it's sad because I don't know what they could have been doing to him at this time for him to not feel safe. my son is so so smart if you ever speak to him you wouldn't think that someone ever went so hard to have my son labeled as autistic when he is actually a genius. Was skipped a grade, started reading full chapter books at 5 years old, has the vocabulary of a college student. so again be careful sending your children to this school absolutely the worst decision I ever made

He is now 5 years old having moved on to public school and excels academically, learning much of his joy of learning from this place, lead by the owner Luiza. My daughter enrolled at 1.5 yards old part-time and full-time at 2. She also never cried once at drop off and also greets us with a giant smile at pick up. She has so much fun with her friends and love doing all the amazing art work they prepare. We are so blessed that our kids got to attend this daycare, but not only for the amazing owner + staffs that works here, but the love they pour into the children through home cooked meals, educational and creative teaching styles, the many fun birthday parties, and just the joy every kid experience when coming here!

Teachers are amazing. My picky boy started eating healthier foods at home after he started attending this daycare. He also is learning Russian there. They teach him a lot of good manners that I noticed him doing at home like bringing his dished to kitchen after meals. Also he doesn't get sick there often which I love. She had such a wonderful experience there, and from the very beginning, WOW felt like family. All of the teachers know the children so well, and you can really tell how much they care. Jeannine is incredibly involved! Whenever there's an event, she is always there and fully engaged. That means so much to us as parents.
