WLAJ interrupted programming to report on a possible shooting, which is a big deal. However, they had no information that the public needed to know other than, basically, be careful. Yet they kept the news on rather than letting people just watch what they had tuned in to watch. I don't have any desire to listen to news people repeat over and over that they have no news. They said that reporters were on the way, and that they're waiting for updates. Do we really need to know that? The information they were getting was mostly from social media, which we can get if we just go on social media. They kept saying that they have no updates, which is fine, but we don't want to hear you keep saying that you have no updates. Let us watch what we tuned in to watch and interrupt when you have actual updates. Of course a possible shooting is important, but if the news station doesn't have actual news about it, then get off the air. read more
