I have lived on the Mississippi coast, my whole life. Since I was young, I have never been too fond of our local news station WLOX. I am a big weather buff, and most of the time I get my weather forecast from other places, even do my own forecasting. But I am happy to say that in the last couple of weeks with the heat wave that we have been experiencing, WLOX has gotten it right more than ever before. the forecast that is, they've been able to go to the chart, that is like a times table chart and they've been able to tell us what the actual temperature is and with the humidity what the heat index temperature feels like! They have actually got this right which is actually like breaking a record! even though you could teach a first grader, how to chart and give the correct answer for that day! if only they had a chart that could tell us where the hurricanes are going to go! sure, wish Nash Roberts was still around to do the weather. He actually could take a crayon. And a paper bag, and do better with a hurricane forecast than they can do with all the fancy equipment that they have at WLOX. Well enough for today.
