I was provided with a written quote from Junk King that was valid for 30 days. When I called to…read moreschedule an appointment based on the quote that I received, they said that the quote was wrong, that they would not honor it, and that the actual price would be higher. This is after I sent them screenshots of the quote I received showing the price that they quoted. On their website, it says that they will match any written quote - but they won't honor a written quote that they issued? When I pushed back on them not honoring the quote, they would not budge and kept insisting that the actual price would be higher. I guess their quotes don't actually mean anything, even though they do explicitly state that they're valid for 30 days. This is not a company I would recommend. It's seems like they just charge whatever they feel like charging, and won't actually honor quotes that they themselves issued.

I've had a lot of surprises from the movers that I've hired, most of those not being positive. I can say enthusiastically that if you're planning to move, you should hire these guys. They work hard, they're conscientious. They have a good attitude and I didn't hear one complaint the entire time. They're young so you might want to pay attention to a couple of the details with them, but really an honest bunch of guys doing an honest job in a really straightforward, clean-cut manner. I appreciated their professionalism. The move was expensive but really it was a pretty blistering hot day and there was no slow down or complaining whatsoever. So, I think it was well worth the money.
