I have tried the following three sandwiches, and all were excellent: 1) The portobello mushroom burger with with tofu, an egg, and tomato. 2) Ba-BaLu: the seitan burger with pineapple and caramelized onions--- incredible! 3) Smoked tofu burger: like the portobello burger, but with a smoky undertone. While we had good expectations going on, they were exceeded. First of all, we were pretty much alone, which allowed us to fully enjoy the place and its minimalistic, but tasteful decoration and have a nice chat with the guy doing the service. The wine of the house was tasty and plentiful, and was a nice complement to both the burgers (delicious), as wells as to the sweet potatoes we got as an aperitif. It wasn't. I found Bufalo Grill to be much better. Bufalo Grill is located in Parque das Nacoes, and within a short walk of the Tryp Oriente Hotel. With several restaurants in Parque das Nacoes, I stumbled into it and was able to tell that it featured buffet style dining. The location is very nice, being modern and with a high ceiling and floor to ceiling windows that look out on the Rio Tejo and some of the Expo 98 buildings. Virtually every item I sampled, including all of the meat and poultry, was good. There was no doubt about that. Even a dessert ordered at the end of the meal was very good. The pricing scheme seemed simple. While the service was slightly less friendly than at Chimarrao, everything else, particularly the setting, was better at Bufalo Grill. A meal here called for a snooze afterwards. It was convenient to be a short walking distance away from the Tryp Oriente Hotel ... and a comfortable bed. What they didn't offer was a wheelbarrow ride back to the hotel!

It's nothing like the hop on and off bus, but as long as you stay on the boat you will enjoy yourself. We saw a lot of beautiful areas specially along the water ways. All The shops along Av.da Liberdade are amazing one day I hope to return and go through them all.
