It's ok. But very pricey for a chain noodle joint. Portions are on the smaller side for this type of food as well.

Definitely recommend for anyone who wants a nice dinner in Porto…read more Has a very nice ambiance with options to choose space downstairs or upstairs. Their cocktails and foods were great! The service was good as well. Recommend making a reservation in advance - ceviche: a great appetizer. Refreshing yet flavorful - shrimp risotto: it was my husband's menu. Shrimp was very tender - octopus: well-paired with the risotto - dessert: we got one with peanut butter per our waiter's recommendation and we were satisfied

We had high hopes for this restaurant after it was recommended by our hotel.  I think the place…read moregets a lot of hotel-referred traffic as the side street located restaurant was full tourists.  The cramped quarters are fine and it will give you the NYC village feel. We liked the creativity of the menu and some of the chances they took with ingredients.  When service is slow and unsteady, it always impacts the experience and the way the food can be enjoyed.  Waiving down waiters for drinks is always a buzz kill before a buzz,  as is watching diners arrive later and get theirs first.   The tuna tartare was fresh and tasty when it did show up. I am not a big capers fan so i was pleasantly surprised when it had none.  The crunchy rice strings added some  texture and made the presentation at the table a photo shot (not shown here). I was slow before they mixed it table-side with a fresh quail egg.  I had high hopes for the shrimp dish.  The presentation was great but the tiny shrimp were overwhelmed by the crunchy, but oil soaked outside shell.  Maybe we drew a bad batch.  The sea bass was sad.  When a fish is served skin side up it needs to be crispy and ours was soggy and tasteless.  We love pasta so were hoping the tortelloni would save the dish. It did not but could have. One of them had unfolded and they were too al dente. The price to servicing size to quality were off balance.  There were other dishes that may have been better but we will not know since we would venture to other places before we returned.

Perfect sushi at a very reasonable price particularly the lunch menu. Went back for dinner as well…read moreit was so good. Recommend the gyosha and the marinated raw fish for starters and any of the freestyle sushi meals hits the spot. Has a non sushi menu (burgers/sandwiches etc) for the kids or the non sushi fans. English speaking and menu so no need to guess when you order. Will be back

Ambience...very pleasant. Service...lovely helpful staff. Food...ummm? My girlfriend and I happened…read moreupon Dixo's randomly and were happy to find such a delightful little restaurant. The outdoor seating is cozy and perfect for dinner in the evening. The menu had a nice blend of Western and Japanese fare. Seeing as such a large portion of the menu revolved around sushi and fish, we opted for the 30pc sushi/sashimi combo and the shrimp tempura. The latter had good flavor and the sauce was tasty but the shrimp were a bit soggy in the mouth and evident by the indented grid marks on the shrimp crust made by it sitting on the bottom of the fry basket. The sushi platter was not what we expected. An assortment of sashimi(which was superb!) and then two nigiri, an assortment of maki sushi and abnormally green wasabi with no bite. While rolls are technically sushi, one usually expects nigiri and sashimi for a sushi/sashimi combo unless a roll is listed on the menu as being part. Half the maki were ok and half were TERRIBLE. Cream cheese and syrupy pomegranate do not belong on sushi. Cream cheese and fruit jam do not belong on sushi. Out of the ordinary sushi SHOULD BE LISTED. My guess is perhaps the chef wanted to impress with his/her own style and maybe being the rare place with sushi, it works in the neighborhood. It's a real pity...the quality of the fish was great via the sashimi and the two pieces of nigiri were very good. Just using the fish simply and traditionally would be better. If it weren't for the ambience and service, this place would be 1 star. If you like unusual sushi and/or cream cheese, then this is the place for you.
