I also want to thank IKO for being the first restaurant in Austria since I've been here (over a week) that FINALLY gave me spicy food. Our server gave us a very detailed introduction to their menu and highlighted their most popular dishes. We ended up letting him decide but also included the foie gras crispy rice plate that our friend raved about. Overall service was delivered with great timing in between dishes as well as a brief explanation of each one. Of all the dishes, there were the ones that were outstanding: The black cod yuzu miso dish was a melt in your mouth fish with a lighter miso taste courtesy of the yuzu. The foie gras was well proportioned, a little sweetened by the sauce, so rich and the crispy rice added a little different texture than expected. One tip for a cooler (temperature wise) dining experience sit in the sushi bar area especially during the summer when we visited. We will come back next time in Vienna.
