Sault New England, I salute you!…read more Doing some window shopping, we walked into Sault New England. I'm seeing some very cool clothing with a military / New England vibe. I saw a tee shirt that spoke to me. I grabbed it and walked to the register. Now there's a Naval Shipyard here, I have to ask: do you give a military discount? I'm told yes! Sault New England, the designer/owner Phillip Saul offers clothing with a New England in mind. The shirts, sweatshirts and tee shirts are all focused for casual wear. It was a very nice shop and I'm happy with my purchase. Mr Saul, I thank you for recognizing military and veteran shoppers.

It is part of All Saints Episcopal Church Community Outreach program. The volunteers are always so welcoming and friendly. The shop is well laid-out for men's women's and children's clothing. Everything is clearly marked and sized. I was surprised that the day I visited: everything was half price - a really welcome surprise. I found two lovely blouses and a pair of walking shoes - all for $3.00. The shop is open on Thursday and Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Most of this is overstocked and surplus good from other retailers, though I can't say I noticed any 'irregulars' in any of the clothing I saw. It's a bit of a mixed bag on what you'd find but hey, $10 jeans and lots of cargo pants and flannels and such, you can't beat it.
