Man, I was hungry. Lunch at work fizzled out and I headed to Wolf's to try it out. When I stepped inside, it reminded me of the little Latino owned places I used to go to in Southern California. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, tacos! - it definitely had the vibe. So I decided to try having a Texas burger! I'll be honest burger prices scare the heck out of me these days - but this burger was big, thick, and had jalapeños! In short, it tasted pretty good! The crinkle cut fries that came with the burger were really good not oily and just on the verge of crispy just the way I love them. So if you wanna place where you can get a nice election of American and Mexican food? I think this place is it. Definitely serves the blue collar workers surrounding the area including a few white collar workers, such as myself that are close by as well. So then why the four stars? OK, the place was looking a little rundown, but more to the point the bathroom wasn't clean - and I will be honest - that matters. But would I come again? Now that I've been here the answer is yes. And if you want to have some food in a place that you could call an old- fashioned diner type place? This is it. And by the way? It lets you take a trip back to the 1970s - in a good way. read more

Friendly counter service restaurant with a diverse menu. The lobby was clean, if a little dated. The campechano tacos were delicious! No flour tortillas, and the corn tortillas couldn't handle the load (as always). Would give 4.5 stars if I could. read more

Met up,for lunch, with my Mentor( to date), decided on a quick lunch; chose there Cheeseburger with everything on them, passed on the fries ( trying to watch my intake). Have to say, the Lunch was good and large! They offer plenty of options, have to try them for breakfast, must also be there specialty. Service was top notch! I got the burger and it was amazing, big burger for a good price. The fries are amazing a little crispy! Amazing service my food came out very quickly despite it being rather busy! This is not bad. It is down the street from my office. I chose the Barbacoa Tacos, which came with rice and beans. Overall, it was ok, kinda bland in taste, I will definitely come back and choose something else. I thought the service was pretty decent. It is your common diner establishment. Great spot for breakfast. Reminds me of what a traditional diner would serve for breakfast back in the 50's. It's relatively cheap and really good. I tend to order the 3 sausage patty breakfast. The breakfast comes with 3 sausage patties, 3 eggs, hash browns, and your choice of toast. It's not the healthiest thing to eat, but it sure is delicious. I haven't tried their lunch, but I know they close right after lunch hours. If you want a tradition breakfast cooked "traditional diner" style, then Wolfs is your place in Franklin Park. Wolf's may not look like a typical diner on the outside but their food has really won me over! Surrounded by factories and a busy train yard, Wolf's location may not be the place that you would look for somewhere to eat, because honestly, it really is a truck stop diner. However, the breakfast that I had included scrambled eggs and hashbrowns and it did not disappoint! So, by a employees recommendation, we went their about a week later for lunch. Extremely over priced food. The local workers have no choice but to shell out more money, they are the only restaurant in the area between all the warehouses. They can never get our order right. What a blast from the past. My dad and I were driving through Franklin Park yesterday and I saw Wolf's. This was my stand by take out place when I worked right around the corner at Fresh Express. It's nothing fancy -it actually reminds me of those old school diners you see in the movies (or Lady Gaga's telephone video). I've ordered breakfast as well as sandwiches from lunch from Wolf's. Reliable/delicious diner-style portions of food for cheap prices. Got a standard egg platter for breakfast and it was exactly what I wanted. Staff is really friendly and accommodating. This is a little truck stop diner. Their soup is homemade everyday. Nothing too fancy but it's close to my work and hits the spot. Everything I've had has been really good. Only thing I could complain is they have AWESOME cream of chicken rice soup, but the celery in it is never cooked. It's always crunchy so I end up eating around it. I think it would taste better without. Just my opinion. Otherwise, I've always been happy with my food. What you need to understand is this is really a truck diner instead of what you would expect at a regular diner. The differences are subtle, such as a giant parking lot, being near a Canadian Pacific railway stop, and a parking lot full of semi-trucks. I've heard a saying that truckers know where the best food is but I think in this case they settled on what was closest. The food wasn't bad but it's not going to be anything that wows you for its new or bold takes on an omelette or fancy coffees. I had gotten an omelette that had cheese which meant they put 2 slices of American cheese on top of the cooked omelette. It was good but again don't expect to be wowed. I will also say there has been a change to management so there might be some changes coming as well. Unless I am in that area again I don't think I will go back but it wasn't because anything was bad but nothing was amazing either. read more

Tried to eat lunch there today. People were not very friendly. Was told my card was denied and the lady refused to run it again. Made me call the credit card company. Card company said it was good.then she told me they don't take American express. Why not post a sign or tell me you don't take it before acting like an ass to me. Pretty standard hotdog/hamburger joint. Haven't had anything really spectacular here, but everything i have had is decent. I like that they put chopped tomatoes on there hotdogs, instead of the big slices as i believe you get a more uniform hotdog experience with chopped tomatoes. They serve beer here, MGD and Miller Lite, its pretty cheap too $6.95 for a pitcher. There aren't any houses around, the place is in the industrial section of Franklin park next to the Canadian Railway depot, so i don't know who is drinking all this beer, train conductors maybe? read more

I like their sandwiches. They are awesome, one of my favorites is egg salad and it's always perfect never runny.
