A lovely little store with lots of interesting yarns, many of German manufacture. I was there on a Saturday when the store closes by 1PM. I slid in under the wire. The salesperson was trying very hard to help me and some other customers at the same time. She was very good-humored even in the face of my lack of German and her adequate, but limited English. I found yarn I wanted and then attempted to pay by credit card. Apparently this shop can only accept credit cards from Germany or the EU. I wasn't quite sure what the problem was. She showed me the ATM across the street. When it appeared I was having problems with that she sent over one of the other customers to help me. (I was putting in the card the wrong way. ) while she did that she tried getting the owner on the phone to see if somehow he would accept my non Germanic card. My purchase wasn't of such a magnitude that warranted such an effort, but it was greatly appreciated. read more
