That visit was unsatisfactory. She seemed more focused on checking boxes than actually listening to my problem. My experience was very disappointing. My medications were not renewed as expected, and when I followed up a week later through the UPMC app, I received no response at first. After sending another message, only one of my medications was eventually sent to the pharmacy. Even worse, both of my messages later appeared in the UPMC app as clinical visits, which raises serious billing concerns. If you are trying to avoid unnecessary confusion or possible double billing, I would be cautious. I am now changing my primary care provider.

The only thing that would have been better was if they had coffee and donuts for us after we got our shot (but then again, it would mean a bunch of people with no masks on, so that's probably not a good idea . . . The debacle started when I attempted to add the credit union located within to the Yelp pages and it went downhill very fast. The VA as we all know is a hospital system that serves our Veterans. In Pittsburgh there are several location that you can go including the now closed Highland Drive division the HJHeinz campus located in Aspinwall, but they all tie back into this location that is in the Oakland area of the city. The address is very generic. The best way to tell you exactly where it is and by telling you that it is located across the street from the Falk School. If you still have no idea it is located on the hilltop overlooking Pitt University. If you can make your way to the Petersen Events Center, you are so close to here, go past the dorms and Greek housing and you will find the hospital. The VA offers an array of clinics, surgeries, and testing under one roof. This campus not only has the medical units but also houses a research building, pharmacy, Fisher House, and a consolidation building that holds all the behavioral health needs. Also housed within is a Patriot Store for your shopping needs, this isn't your usual hospital gift shop. Patriot Cafe for your dining needs. VA Pittsburgh Federal Credit Union for your banking needs. Two ATMs, one located at the main entrance from the parking garage and one located in the Patriot Cafe. Drop boxes for postal pick up. Starbucks coffee with a small cafe setting. Did I mention that parking is free here? When the parking is nearing capacity that is when the valet service really ramps up their service here. Also there is a bus stop located out front and shuttle service between facilities.
