I don't comment always but this really upset me. My appt for June 30 with dr. Larissa was such a disappointment. I had my appointment at 10 am was there at 9;50 but was not seen until 11.300AM. The dr was in the room for 5 minutes literally, and then out. she did not ask whether I had any questions or concerns. I tried to tell her that i was having or rather feeling like a lumpy tissue on my left side, she didn't even ask where and maybe go back to feel the area. she just said I have dense breast and its only detectable with mammogram. truly speaking, i regret the visit. Today I had my first ever Pap smear with Kayla Tripoli. She was so sweet and extremely professional with the exam. she is also extremely beautiful so that definitely helped for me. The rest of the staff is also very nonchalant and sweet to their patients. The office is extremely clean with beautiful windows in the lobby. on my way out, I grabbed a business card to refer my friend to this gynecologist. read more

I don't know what happened to this practice! It used to be the best around. Unfortunately, that is not the case anymore. You used to be a respected patient but now, you are a number. The back office is just awful. I won't even get into their company that handles billing! Their phone number doesn't work half the time. It just disconnects. No responses, over charging patients, collecting money before benefits are confirmed; the list is endless. I had been going to a doctor here for 16 years (who I adored), then with no email, no warning, she had just moved on and I was never notified. I trusted my doctor and this practice, but no more. Then to make matters worse, I have been trying to clean up a billing error for 4 months! This is their mistake, but again, no one cares or wants to help. It is clear now, this practice USED to be "patients first" but now it is "money first, patients second!" Take a hard pass on this place. So sad... read more

Love the satellite offices, not a fan of the big office over in Winter Park. It is busy and feels impersonal. Any wait for the lab means sitting out in the hallway as people pass by constantly. Some lab results take forever. That can mean anxious and long waits. When I gave birth to my baby, not a single one of the providers delivered. It was a hospitalist, because the on-call traded weekends. That was a surprise and we weren't prepared for that. Overall, nursing staff and providers are good and they are responsive. read more

I came to this office for a specific doctor, Melissa Moore, over a year and a half ago. She is amazing. She is constantly booked, so if you are looking for an appointment with her specifically, call WAY in advance. She takes a lot of time with each patient, making sure they have all of their questions answered(sometimes I come in with a whole list!) She was the doctor who recommended CRM and Dr. Loy to us for IVF. A year later, we are 10 weeks pregnant! The office: They have several offices, but the one I am reviewing is the Winter Park location. It has ample parking and an elevator to the 2nd floor where the physicians offices are located. They have 4-5 people working reception so you never have to wait long. Their waiting room is large and spacious- they have a water machine with cups available as well as magazines. Scheduling: This is the only reason I can't give this 5 stars. Dr availability is NOT the issue either, I expect good doctors to be booked :) The issue is if you are having an ultrasound or another lab the front desk can't book you-- you have to wait for a call from a scheduler. I am a very organized person and always bring my planner with me to appointments(yes, I'm old school but I LOVE my Erin Condren planner!), so I'd like to take care of scheduling same day. Just had to say Chelsea over in scheduling seriously does her job to the fullest and beyond that. Can't thank her enough for going above and beyond to make sure i got into my appointment with my prescription in the same day even if it was later than previously scheduled had caused her some trouble. That girl deserves some kind of raise cause she ran all over the office to get me cleared and people like that deserve the recognition!!! Went here for the first time last week for a routine pap, and I was pleasantly surprised. (I know, not what you think of when you think of getting a Pap smear done.) The front desk staff was incredibly friendly, and their process for checking visitors in was painless. I saw Emily, a nurse practitioner who came highly recommended, and she seriously put me at ease. She has a great bedside manner and is clearly knowledgeable in her field. I will definitely be coming back here for all of my womanly needs. read more

Everyone is friendly, accommodating and efficient.  You never wait too long to be taken back to a room and they get you in and out as timely as possible. From the front desk to the people taking you back to a room, to the nurses taking blood, they are personable and professional.  The office is bright, welcoming and clean. Kate Hughes is absolutely the best health care provider I have ever seen.  She is patient,  personable,  down to earth, and genuinely cares about you and your health. She will sit and listen to any and all of your questions and asks you about your concerns too. She makes you feel comfortable and not rushed at all. I am very disappointed with the way my daughter was treated. She was told a medically necessary procedure would be covered by our insurance. The office staff assured her it would be covered. But it wasn't and we got a bill for $1700. We tried to get the medically necessary note from the primary care doc so we could contest it with the insurance, but he no longer practices. We asked the office administrator at Women's care to have the bill resent to insurance with a note. Nope, not her problem apparently. So we then talked to women's care billing to see if we could get some forgiveness on the bill or a discount. The best they could do was offer a payment plan. How does a 22 yr old college student with very limited means even make one payment? I stepped in and paid it on my credit card. Which I don't know how I will pay that off. But doctor Anna Maria Jones I hope you get every penny of that $1700 to enjoy. Better yet pay someone to rethink your organizations values that are stated below (right from your website) because there is certainly no compassion, empathy or accountability from your staff where you work! I was told to do an mammogram and so I did. They wanted my past records to compare and I gave it to them. They then told me to get a diagnostic mammogram and an ultrasound that my insurance did not cover. I didn't have the money for it at the time. I recently changed insurance and I was in the process of scheduling the mammogram. I received a letter from the Clinical Manger, Sandi Greenwood, stating that because of my "non-compliance" and failure to follow up with my mammogram they can no longer serve as my healthcare provider! I thought doctor's were supposed to help you make healthcare decisions, not to strongarm you and drop you if you don't "comply"! Going back to my previous doctor who treated me with respect and dignity. read more

I've been going here for years. I was a little sad & worried when my previous ARNP retired there. I ended up going with Emily Mills and she is a doll! She is so kind & caring. Emily takes the time to talk to you and doesn't make you feel like she's just trying to crank through all her patients. She is also very personable. Recently, I had a small in office procedure where I didn't feel well after and she took the time to get me taken care of. I felt so bad because I worried I was making her late to her next patient but she jumped to help me! Not sure if it's Emily's nursing assistant or nurse, but she is also very sweet! read more

The center is always clean, the staff are friendly, and Dr. Jones is patient and explains things in a non-medical way, which is always appreciated! I like that they have an online portal so I can schedule appts, look up my lab results, communicate with my doctor, and easily print my medical history. 5 stars for Womens care florida! read more

My first visit was memorable, but a disaster and will not go back! Had my blood drawn- girl had to try several times. I'm very thin and my veins are very easy to find- never have had any problems in my 40 years with having blood drawn. Six hours later- 6 pm- huge hematoma erupts-numb feeling in arm, tingling fingertips- told to go to ER by after hour primary care doctor. The concern was that I may have a blood clot go to my heart. Not something you can put off. After being in the ER for 6 hours, sonogram of my veins and a $1,600.00 medical bill- Dr. Whitcomb's office doesn't feel they're responsible and will not help with any of the cost! She even said" I blew that vein, have to try again." Also, she did not hold pressure after removing needle - I had to ask her for the gauze to do myself! Who's fault was it then??? read more

She was just plain mean and condescending and apparently wasting her time by trying to make an appointment for a measly check up. I made an appointment elsewhere. Poor follow up service. They ended up calling my husband, who is listed as my spouse rather than calling me first(I'm the patient). When I asked to speak to the Nurse Manager (Rayna...if that's house you spell it) she was friendly at first, but when she promised to follow up with me...it never happened, even after I called back 3 separate times ( on different days) and left two voicemails. POOR, POOR FOLLOW UP. If they can't follow up properly, how can you trust them with the delivery of your child. read more

The entire staff at this office is warm, happy and make you feel comfortable to be there. Specifically, Dr. Safi is wonderful and makes me feel at ease even when I am stressed or have I have questions. She creates smalltalk so there's no awkwardness during any procedure or visit. One of my worst experiences. My first appt with this group was during week 21 but it took them 3 weeks to "analyze my records" and schedule an appt. And that only after I repeatedly called and left messages because they never pick up the phone. They have a 1h and 1/2 lunch break and when I finally went for my appt, their computers were down. It took them 4h to allow me to see the ultrasound person and the dr. The waiting time is horrible and they all seem in a hurry. On top of all that, as soon as they heard that I might be moving to a different area of the US, they lost interest and I had to call in repeatedly to get my records. And to make matters worse, I had given them a CD of pics of my baby at 13 weeks of pregnancy that they lost. It took them a month to admit it over the phone so I kept calling in and leaving messages and asking about my cd. They are ignorant, arrogant and couldn t care less about patient care!
