    Hot honey chicken wings
    Jahnavi U.

We ordered food from this food hall location for a mother's day celebration. It was easy to order online but I was a disappointed in the way the food was delivered. We ordered the following: Wing Trip: - 12pc hot honey chicken wings- the wings arrived with barely any sauce. The sauce leaked out of the box and into the wonder bag which wet the pizza box as well. The wings would have tasted a lot better had the sauce been there. This was quite disappointing. There was no way for me to call the restaurant and complain about the delivery. - 6pc boneless chicken - didn't like them. They were hard to eat. Fred's Meat & Bread - Shroomshire cheesesteak: no complaints. It was good. Alanza pizza - truffle and mushroom pizza: was good. I would have given more stars if the hot honey wings came with the sauce and the boneless chicken tasted better. The presentation was not appealing. They have to work on delivery. I think we should get a refund for the wings cuz it didn't taste the way it should.

A new favorite of ours from Wonder is the Di Fara pizza! The mushroom-pepperoni pizza was ready quickly and was oh-so tasty!

But it is crazy packed, you have to hunt down a seat and good luck if you are with someone. But the prices are fair and the varieties of different food was amazing. I saw so many different types of ramen, definitely want to try them the next time I visit. This time I got bubble tea and hotpot. The hotpot was pretty decent sized and fair price. Solid spot in the heart of ktown.

There's more seating on the 2nd floor, plus a press on nail place. Walk up one more set of stairs to the 3rd floor for more seating, plus restrooms and one more restaurant counter (a chicken place). I do not know how the place on the 3rd floor stays in business. I didn't notice signs on the ground level letting everyone know it's up there. It's definitely better to have a spot on the ground level where there's more foot traffic. Seems like a lot of people know about this food hall. It is fairly crowded. Many of the restaurants looked interesting, so we made 2 rounds to look at all the offerings before deciding what to get. We picked up Shrimp Udon from the Seoul New York (located way at the back; they offer a discount for paying by cash), and also a Potato Korean Hot Dog from Sweet Churros (located at the front as the first restaurant on the right side after walking through the front door). Both were good. I love food halls because everyone in your group can find something different to eat. And it's a plus when there's seating and restrooms available. This one is a hidden gem in Koreatown. Great dining spot for a casual or quick meal. The prices are reasonable compared to some of the "sit down" restaurants in the neighborhood.

I've completely fallen in love with this concept! Being able to order a side from one restaurant, a…read moresalad from another, and an entree from another is a game changer! I love being able to mix and match my favorites! Detroit Brick Pizza Co. - Brick Chicken Tenders were great, everything you want in a simple order of tenders! Hawaiian Pizza - I thought it was nicely elevated with the capicola instead of your typical deli ham. Spicy Pepperoni Pizza - super crispy pepperoni cups added just the right spicy-savory flavor. Overall for the pizzas they had a fluffy crust with crisp edges, however they both had a slightly strange underlying flavor that I wasn't the most fond of (perhaps it's the cheese blend they use?) and both had barely any sauce, I had to supplement with my own sauce at home to get through all that fluffy bread crust. Tejas Barbeque - trust me on this, you NEED to get the Carrot Soufflé it is quite possibly the best thing I've ever eaten! I'm ordering it with every meal from wonder! Burger Baby - The Classic Burger was fine, nothing new or revolutionary, pretty average, but that's not a bad thing. It feels like a dependable burger- simple and you know what you are getting each time. Mr.D's Fried Chicken - Mr.D's Chicken Sandwich was great, again, nothing out of this world, but the sauce did have an unexpected smokey flavor to it - not my taste, but if you enjoy smoke flavoring you might enjoy it. Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson- M's Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich was better than Mr. D's in my opinion and the piece of chicken was a bit bigger on this one. Streetbird Slaw was just your average coleslaw. Yasas by Michael Symon - The build-your-own bowl was fabulous! All of the ingredients were so fresh and I love the variety and ability to mix and match. This place is what I wish Cava or Chopt was!

Which definitely was delicious and chicken was cooked so tender! And hubby got the cheesesteak sandwich by Fred's, which was also surprisingly delicious! We ended up eating there and did not take out. I liked how clean the place was. The staff was cleaning tables and it was a well kept spot. The food did have to wait a bit long, it was about 10 mins for our food. But it was ok as I was made aware when I placed the order of when to expect it. The food was ready within the expected timeframe. Overall will go again !

Tried this location of Wonder today with a friend after having eaten over a dozen times at one of…read moretheir other locations. A generally positive experience and would come by again if I wanted something decently tasty and a slight step up in number of options compared to places like Dig Inn, Cava, Naya and Sweetgreen to eat in the neighborhood. This is a ghost kitchen with a variety of "restaurant names" and cuisines to choose from, and they have dozens of locations popping up in the NY metro area, marketing themselves as "a new kind of food hall." Order online, via their app or in person at a kiosk and food takes about 10-30 minutes to be ready depending on the time of day. Food is made to order and ingredients are fresh. Walking into this location kiosks and single non-gender restroom are to the back left, pickup shelves and counter to the back right, and about a dozen seats to the immediate right. We went with a couple of my tried and true options here: - chicken souvlaki and avocado open face pits sandwich from Yasas $14.20: comes with grilled chicken chunks, tomatoes, cucumbers, red pepper, feta, avocado, romaine, hummus, eggplant spread, and crispy shallots, on a warm fluffy pita. Kinda like a Mediterranean flatbread covered with lots of toppings. Tasty lunch fare. - build-your-own salad from Royal Greens $9.95+marinated tofu $2.50: choose your own lettuce and/grains mix, I chose kale and quinoa, add up to six toppings (I chose edamame, beets, pickled onions, cherry tomatoes, herbed broccoli, roasted sweet potatoes), two crunch toppings (I chose only croutons this time and seems like somehow they were missed), a mini pita (if it's early enough--sometimes they run out), with a choice of dressing (charred scallion is one of my favorites here). - for drinks ordered a Diet Coke $2.50 no description needed and Poppi root beer $3.50 which is a soda with less sugar than normal (5g versus 20g+). Generally speaking since there are many cuisines coming out of the same kitchen, feels like there are items used across recipes where some dishes may have ingredients and flavors that work better with other dishes. For example I've tried poke once from Hanu Poke and it tasted kinda like a salad from Royal Greens with chunks of not-quite-made-for-poke-cuts of salmon added. And the beef burrito from Limesalt tasted like it used similar ingredients as used in the beef souvlaki sandwich. To be fair the items that are unique I've tried so far are decent quality and delicious.

RIP Urban Hawker…read more Though if you wanted to recreate that part in movie plots where the protagonist we all thought had veered into untimely demise surprises everyone by miraculously making a comeback--I'm down for that too! Though on a serious note--kinda bummed bc I wanted to make one last visit before they closed July 17, though unfortunately I didn't make it back to town in time :( What a loss of a cultural connection point for the city! Food is a gateway to experiencing and understanding other cultures and this location was front and center in midtown, blocks from Times Square. In a sea of other cuisines, this part of Southeast Asia didn't/doesn't have much representation in general in Manhattan, and even less so now. Scouring articles and comments online I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they're able to find a different space in the near future! Was it the best food court? I'll admit this was easily debatable for many reasons. But each stall had their own standouts. Tradsiyon was a later addition though had really solid braised meat and veggie bowls; Hainan Jones stepped into a midtown scene several years ago with no other similar Hainanese chicken spots in midtown (a few others thankfully are around today); Kopifellas brought uniquely Singaporean/Malasian tea and coffee options; I still remember the first bite of Prawnaholic's signature shrimp and rib noodles tasting that savory goodness for the first time; and most of all I will dearly miss this location of Lady Wong, where I rarely walked away empty handed. Thank you for the memories (and think about that movie plot twist I mentioned above)!

I rarely went home invoking a strong enthusiastic response to come back to eat something again. Their strong suite was location, space, and variety. What I loved most--besides having a reliable bathroom in Midtown--was what it became for the people around it. It was a place where office workers could decompress after work, grab a beer with coworkers, or catch up with friends they hadn't seen in a while. There was something refreshing about the atmosphere. People seemed relaxed and unguarded, shedding the polished professional persona they'd worn all day. It felt like watching the city exhale for a little while. And another thing I appreciated was their attempt to represent different nationalities under one roof. The more common items performed the worse and that's probably when you come to a space dedicated to hawker style cuisine, you expect to try some of their more novel stuff like Coffee Pork Fried Rice (from a stall that specialized in fried rice) or Noodles in Bechamel. I also frequently enjoyed their only drinks provider for the best Yuen Yang I've ever had. The method for making them seems theatrical at first but when you've had one that wasn't properly aerated, you truly taste the chalky bitter tannins. It was a good thing there was an experience worker there (possibly the owner). Who you got to make your drink was hit or miss because at varying times, my gf would be lucky enough to run into the one guy who could do it with oatmilk (she's lactose intolerant). It's sad to see this place go and there'll be many times ahead of us where we point out that that's where the Urban Hawker used to be.
