We were hoping this was the "happy dragon" of our new area, alas it was not quite there yet. It's located right off of route 16, in Sanborn NH. There is plenty of parking and a handicap accessible ramp to get into the restaurant. The place was actually very well decorated and had a large tank with a few very very large koi fish! There was definitely good things about our experience. The take out line was very busy but we were sat pretty quickly, and soon enough the waitress was taking our drink order. The soda was off and tastes strange. We then put in our food and waited for about 10 mins before it hit our table. We got a pupu for 2, an order of pork fried rice and beef Lo mien. The pupu was on the smaller side, but it did come with fried shrimp, egg rolls chicken fingers, and crab Rangoons. The pork ribs were especially delicious, I think I ate them all and quickly. The beef Lo mien was just ok, which is what I was most excited about. The pork fried rice was pretty good, but they had the strangest duck sauce. Dark and unlike any I've had before, which throws off the flavor palette :( other than that, it was a pretty decent place! Nice to try new things !! read more

We enjoyed the food here. Our appetizer was the chicken fingers and they were tasty. We also got the dumplings (best pan fried I ever had) and vegetable fried rice were both very good. My friend also enjoyed the steak, pepper & onions along with the crab rangoons. He enjoyed a few cold beers and I had a few mai tai's. I loved how they serve hot tea with the meal. The only reason why I gave four stars was because the mai tai's tasted like a cheap sweet tart mix was used, they can definitely be improved. We were also surprised there is no bar. The dining room was pleasant enough and the employees were extremely polite. We will return to eat here again. We just moved to the area and like it here for sure. Thanks, see you again. read more

Interesting place, very casual atmosphere. We waited a while to be seated, then we waited a while for service, but they were busy. When she did come around, she took the entire order, drinks and food, without writing a single thing down, and came through like a champ. We got the Seven Lakes Spicy Specialty, which is a dish for 2 people, it's Mongolian beef, general tao's chicken and Szechuan pork. It comes with white rice, or pfr for an upcharge. It was really good, I lived the chicken but I think the pork was my favorite. All really well seasoned and fresh. Everything we tried from our friends plates was really good too - the eggrolls we're the typical variety that I like, and the boneless spareribs were good too. There's also a great drink selection. Waitress forgot part of our order. Last 4 times we tried to order beef teriyaki we were told they were out. This time we tried to order 2 beef teriyaki and were told we could only order 1 because yhe chef would get mad because they were saving it for take out orders. The older lady flipped out on us because we asked for more duck sauce and went on a rant yelling in Chinese. Noticed a upcahrge on our bill and when asking about it we were told they now add a 3.5% food tax on top of the regular tax. Both service and food have gone down hill in quality. Own a summer home in Wolfeboro nh. First time my wife and I have been there. Food was Excellent. Came out nice and Hot. Drinks were cold. Price for meal was awesome for two people to eat. Recently got take out from Wontons. For apps I got vegetable rolls, steamed dumplings, for main course I got orange flavored chicken, egg foo young, lo mein and sm rice. Vegetable roll is actually a spring roll and it was delicious, if your getting takeout this would be a good thing to munch on for the ride home. Steamed dumplings was a miss, too thick, next time wouid try the pan fried version. Egg foo young with gravy was delicious, sm fried rice was plenty for three people. Lo mein was another miss, had an odd flavor. Orange chicken was good sized but kind of bready. Next time I would get vegetable rolls, egg foo young, small rice and maybe one other app. Price of most entries were ~$9. Pretty good value. Downside is they close during the week at 7 pm so order early. read more

They have a decent sized menu with a lot on it but we decided to order something simple so we went ahead and got the Pu pu platter and an order of pork fried rice. Everything on the platter was excellent and tasted fresh. The rice was very delicious as well. The service was attentive and the food came out fast. One of the few sit down Chinese places we could find in a longggg ways! Ordered chicken fingers and chicken fried rice. Chicken was cooked to perfection and was nice and soft. Chicken fried rice was superb with great flavor and super good. Overall this place would get a 6/5 in my book for the amazing food. Don't know if the portions of the luncheon are usually small. We ordered the following for take out: the moo goo gai pan with fried rice and Rangoon (t-8) . The other dish was the general tso chicken with fried rice and Rangoon (t-11). We also ordered a side or 2 egg rolls. Their "duck" sauce is different than we are used to. (Which has always been a mixture or applesauce and soy sauce). Overall the experience was good. Will try then again in the future read more

Solid option for Chinese takeout in the area. Pretty extensive menu and friendly staff. Ordered takeout for a group of 6 - pupu platter, crab rangoons, singapore mei fun, lo mein, chicken and broccoli, seven lakes spicy special, moo shi vegetables with pancake. While we waited for our takeout, we sat and had scorpion bowls, a chinese takeout classic. The food was great, my only gripe was that the seven lakes spicy special (mongolian beef, general tso, szechuan pork) was not that spicy. We had even asked at ordering if we could get these extra spicy. This was definitely enough food for 6 people. Wontons will be a regular stop for our trips into town. read more
