Not while Jennifer was there, however, because she's AWESOME! While we like Dr. Wagner, he failed to diagnose an appendix issue with our 11 year old (April 2013) with symptoms that continued and then escalated to require an emergency surgery (August 2013). For our newborn's circ. (Sep 2014), they insisted that I not be present for the surgery, for many reasons they came up with on the fly, to the point of nearly ushering me out of the room. All went well until we walked to the car... he screamed while buckling his carseat and literally ALL the way home!! What happened to the pain injection?? The procedure from start to finish took less than 15 minutes so I know it doesn't wear off THAT quickly... I think the nurse either forgot or chose to skip it, poor baby. After all, he couldn't tell me if she did it or not. I called the advice nurse from the car (I was freaking out a little), and was told to reapply the dressing of gause/ Vaseline when we got home. Once home, I opened his diaper (he immediately stopped crying) and found NOTHING!! The nurse hadn't dressed the wound at all!! So his diaper had been rubbing against it the whole time :( that's ridiculous!! And worse, they could have told me about the option for dressing it before I left, I shouldn't have had to call. The "Care After" printout also didn't mention this. Granted, the method used (Plastibell) doesn't REQUIRE a dressing, but if it hurts babies without it, then why not? Anyway, those are the only 2 issues we've had and I don't know that things would have turned out differently at another Dr.'s office. After all, they're all just "practicing" right?? ;) On the up side, the ladies are really nice and they're very good over the phone. They recently added an advice nurse to their staff. They have also been able to give same-day appointments when needed, and/ or move up my appointment time since I was already in the area. Hence, 3 stars instead of only 2.

I take my list, we talk through it, and when I get a blank look on my face we go through it again until I get it. Together we identify and evaluate the options. I have to admit I have had to wait beyond my appointment time, but usually it's because a patient either added more "stuff" to their Dr. Harpole list or an unexpected problem arose. If you've ever needed more time for whatever reason, you'd understand. As for Sondra, his incredible multi-tasking Assistant, my experience is she does everything possible to keep a very busy office running smoothly and all the balls they juggle in the air. She cares about the patients and I find will do all in her power to deliver on what's asked. I think she's a tremendous asset to the office and they complement each other. They make a great team, are very compassionate, caring, and fun. Thank you both!

All of the previous 1 star reviews are completely true and valid!…read more I am writing this review on behalf of my brother who has a slight mental disability. Dave has been a patient of Dr Harpole for 10 years and has always expressed to me how rude the lady at the desk was but I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt. In the past Dave was diagnosed as Pre-diabetic and has both diabetes and heart disease in the family. Blood work was done two months ago and because of Daves work schedule and the Dr's shortened hours, he was just now able to schedule the bloodwork review. Going in, Dave had mentioned that he had seen a urologist regarding a prostate issue and was scheduled for a procedure to recify the problem. Dr Harpole discussed the prostate problem and then an audible "buzzer" went off signaling the end of the appointment! Dr Harpole not only rushed him out of the office but refused to even address the 2 month old blood work telling him he now needed to make yet another appointment to go over them!!! When he asked Sandra at the desk she refused to even give him any copies until Dr Harpole "released" them. The Dr did manage to litterally scribble on a piece of paper a couple of notes regarding the results and all we could make out was "borderline diabetic." Daves father passed due to complications from diabetes and Dr Harpole is well aware of this! I then made a call to Sandra asking what had happened and she told me she could not release anything without the Dr's approval even though that's what the appointment was scheduled for in the first place. The prostate issue was completely taken care of and under control. Here's the whole crux of the experience...Dave's urologist whom he had only met one time actually took the time to call me from HER HOME and spend 20 minutes talking to me to find out more about Dave because she's a doctor who CARES and is in practice for all the right reasons. I remember delivering UPS to Dr Harpole back in 1981 and thinking it's probably time to retire since there seems to be an obvious burn out issue here. I will also be contacting John Muir and the Medical board regarding his practice. Please don't waste your time or money dealing with this business and hopefully this will save at least one person the experience. Thanks for reading...

I got in fairly quickly, and spent an entire hour with her, going over my medical history. I told her I had diabetes, and she had access to my labs and records that showed that I did, but she refused to give me a referral to an endocrinologist until I had a full physical exam, which she scheduled for three weeks later. Then I figured out that the pharmacy wouldn't fill my prescription without preauthorization (the only medication that was managing my blood sugar), and she refused to submit for preauthorization, and also still refused to give me a referral to an endocrinologist so that I could get one from them. She apparently thought it was just fine for me to be off my medication completely for an undetermined amount of time until after our next appointment and after I could get in with an endocrinologist (which could be a month or more later). I called my insurance and they said any PCP could easily justify the medication I was taking because I have diabetes, but there's nothing they could do if she refused. I am submitting a complaint against her with my insurance and needless to say I chose an alternative PCP. I should have known when I called her office and her voicemail says they will return my message in three or four business days. This is not someone that takes her responsibility to help you manage ongoing health issues seriously. Oh, and she charges 5% extra if you want to pay your copay by credit card. So strange!

As a nurse I know how important it is to have a Dr. that listens and cares about your health, and I feel like Dr. Randhawa has repeatedly shown me that through my recent medical issues. I admittedly am not the easiest patient, sometimes I listen and sometimes I do things my own way, but she never makes me feel judged, she is always just supportive and encouraging. Anyway, for anyone looking for a good Dr, and in search of someone who will take the highest regard for you health, make an appointment.

She ended up ordering the wrong one that my insurance didn't cover. Instead of the office taking care of it with my insurance, the front office manager insisted I had to call LabCorp and deal with it with my insurance on my own. She is extremely rude by the way. Even my insurance company apologized on their behalf stating they should have been the ones to contact insurance because how would I know what questions to ask, I'm just the patient. The insurance company put me on hold while they called the office directly and told the office manager that they needed to handle, and it's not on the patient. Basically after a lot of back and forth the office said there was nothing they can do. Didn't try to order the correct test, didn't try to work with the insurance company. Nothing. Also the doctors office is a renovated house. The doors to the rooms have huge gaps and everyone can hear your business.
