After a 10 year gap, I'm back to see Dr. Christopher Likens!! He is a caring, patient and very competent doctor. He will not rush you through the very thorough eye exam. The past 10 years I've seen 4 different very nice doctors but none can compare to the time, quality and genuine care given by Dr. Likens! Most insurance companies won't pay for the Optos Daytona 3D ulta-widefield retinal imaging system but I payed out of pocket for this valuable test. We'll worth the money. Rebecca helped me in the selection of my eyeglass frames and she was very nice and extremely helpful. It was like having your best friend helping you select the best frames for your face. I came to Woodbridge Optometry 4 years ago after issues with another office near UCI. In these four years, I've seen three doctors in this office and Dr. Takeda is the best! She listened to all my problems and I left this time feeling great about my vision - and hopefully no more headaches! Wish they would carry more frames, as each time I get a new pair of glasses, I'm limited to about 5 pairs, which are also on the pricier side. However, I do have a very strong prescription (my contacts are -9.0 to give you and idea), and understand that I just can't pick out any frame. However, everyone I've encountered in this office is helpful in finding something that will work for me. read more

At the time, the waiting list was too long, and I was going to be out of the country before I could visit, so I missed out. The location is really nice, and the store is very well stocked. We are a family of 5 who have been coming here for the past 15 years, but will never go here again. An office staff member spoke to me extremely disrespectfully, accusing me of "conveniently not divulging that my glasses prescription was from another doctor" when this is clearly stated on the prescription I submitted for a remake. They also accused me of lying that my progressive lens measurements were taken when they NEVER were. I have spent thousands of dollars with Woodbridge optometry over the years and I would not recommend them anymore. read more

Woodbridge has a large selection of designer eyewear, including Chanel, and a line Oprah Winfrey frequently wears that is usually difficult to find. I had what I thought was a medical emergency this past week and called Woodbridge Optometry for an appointment based on positive reviews I had seen on a community page. I was given one right away. I was seen by Dr Wen who impressed me with her personalized touch. She gave me a thorough examination, personally arranged for a same day appointment for me with an ophthalmologist, and called me the next day to follow up. My issue was addressed and resolved in just a few hours. I can't say enough good things about Dr Wen and the staff (Rebecca and Monique). Recommend this place unreservedly. My entire family has been using this service provider for years. Generally everything was good (they have great opticians) until yesterday when my 8-year old was due for a myopia checkup. He has been through this process for the past 2 years with the same treatment under the same vision insurance plan. The charge was $50 charge per visit. Upon arrival, they said we need to sign a contract for $1600 per year. We then asked if the doctor could see him once (and we will consider the annual contract), after all this appointment was scheduled 3 months ago. We waited for quite a while until the lady said Yes and the charge for this one visit is $250. We were shocked. The lady even acknowledged the price is for the same service as 3 months ago. We think it's absurd for a 500% price increase in a 3-month window. The explanation provided was they had a policy change with no heads up, no apology, and only a response that the doctors must have mentioned this to you before (clearly that's completely not true). We were very disappointed about yesterday's experience and will look for a different service provider for the entire family. read more

Avoid this place. The eye exam was fine. Of course, the glasses were overpriced (no way should it have cost $700 for two exams, contacts and glasses with insurance). Mind you, I work for the mfr of the contacts and they should have been free. The problem is spam. I visited the office once. It is nice to go back each year and be remembered. They have always worked hard with me to make sure my contacts work for my eyes. They have a huge selections of frames to pick from. This place charged me for comprehensive eye exam and a contact lens exam. In past experiences throughout my years of wearing contacts I have never been charged for them separately which I thought was very odd. Even to ask about other types of contacts other than the brand I was currently wearing they were gonna charge me for another exam. What's the point of charging for a contact exam if everything has to be the same? During my appointment they tried to up sell taking a photo of my eye for record and did not tell me until I asked if it was going to be costing extra. As a first time patient I felt as if they didn't really care about me but were more worried about the money they would make off me. Overall I paid 90 bucks after insurance just to tell me my prescription was exactly the same. read more

Wow. They want $150 to 'fit' me for contacts I've been wearing for over 5 years and. I change to my prescription AND $300 to fit me for a multifocal lens. They conveniently neglected to tell me this until I had gone through most of the exam. I've been wearing contacts for 15 years and I have never been gouged like this. Ridiculous. read more

Paty and Dr. Wilson are the best! The staff is very nice overall and I enjoyed every visit from my first exam to my fitting. Paty Olmos went above and beyond great customer service. She was funny and sweet and really helped me make frame decisions. When I wanted to try frames that weren't in the office she ordered a couple for me for no extra charge. Woodbridge Optometry is legit... They are indeed the real deal when it comes to superior customer service and exhibiting a sense of urgency in regards to meeting a customers needs. Today I went in to purchase a pair of new glasses and was helped by two friendly associates who answered all of my questions thoroughly and confidently. I tried on various frames and was given feedback on how they looked on me. Additionally, I was given pointers on just how well they complemented my facial features. Something that I thought was quite endearing of them to say. The price break down was easy to follow and understand and not confusing at all. I was told how much both the frame and lenses would cost at retail without insurance and with. It definitely pays to have insurance! The associate I worked with was kind enough to call the lab to find out if my particular prescription could be fitted with a digital lens. The lab was pretty confident it could be done however would return with a final stamp of approval via a phone call to Woodbridge Optometry. I was told I should receive a follow up call confirming this sometime early next week. Regardless though, my glasses would be ready and made within the next three weeks or so. During the transaction process I did not feel pressured to purchase any additional "add-ons" or unnecessary extra's. If they mentioned such things, it was only once if that. After checkout, I was provided a detailed itemized receipt regarding where the costs would be stated. All in all a great experience purchasing glasses. I have not seen the doctors there so I cannot comment on those (I see an MD for that). It appears they have some moderate construction going on at the premises so looks like business is up and doing well! :) read more
