After completing my crown at Woodcrest Dental Studio, I can confidently say that Dr. Ashini is one of the most thorough dentists I have met. Due to the shape of my tooth and its placement relative to the teeth next to it, it was particularly difficult to find a crown that would perfectly fit (not the studio's fault). The commitment to fabricate a crown that fit 100% became a long process over the series of several appointments, but it was extremely relieving because I knew that Dr. Ashini would not let me leave without perfection. The studio became a family to me, and I appreciated all of the efforts made for last-minute appointments and expedited crown deliveries. Overall, great dental studio! If you want to be lied to and scammed, this is the place! I was a new patient to them, and went due to severe pain from my wisdom tooth. I was unable to chew food, and had a very limited diet because of this. After my consult, they put me on the schedule for a cleaning. They did not put me the schedule for wisdom teeth extraction even though I had X rays, and was told by the dentist that I needed them removed. Well, I went in for that cleaning while waiting to be scheduled with the surgeon. The cleaning was over $600. I want to emphasize-- this was JUST a cleaning. No work on cavities or wisdom teeth, literally JUST a cleaning. I was also told I had 7 cavities (I have never had a cavity before, never had any filled). Obviously a $600 cleaning is absolute insanity, so I switched to a new dentist. My new dentist told me I don't have any cavities on my first visit to him......so, Woodcrest Dental, where did those 7 cavities go? Did they magically heal themselves? No, of course not. Wonderful dental office!!! There was a terribly selfish, belligerent, patient yelling at the girls in the front office and just making an epic fuss. Dr. K had no choice, but to take him back therefore three of his patients got pushed back, and we got caught in that. First, the bedside manner of the dentists were fantastic. However, the ethics of the practice is questionable. I was a first time patient. Standard dental checkup is exam and cleaning. After the exam, the doctor told me the treatment plan. This was all fine up to this point. But then the assistant said it was all done. I asked "what about the cleaning?". He then had to go check on this?! After about 5-10 min, came back and said, that it turns out the cleaning is covered by your insurance. (Ok what insurance does not cover basic cleaning?) So then they did the cleaning. How a dental office does basic cleaning is the #1 thing I evaluate about a new dentist, since it's good for the patient, but is a low margin item for the dentist. They were intent on just skipping it?! Next they recommended a crown replacement. No problem. Based on the how they handled the cleaning, I knew I wasn't coming back. But I wanted to wait for the estimate just to see. Sure enough, they said all my insurance would cover is a basic metal crown, and to get a better crown is not covered by insurance and would have to be completely out of pocket. Said something about "after covid that insurance companies started doing this." I 100% knew this was a false statement as I just got another crown last year, and I called my company to ask and they denied this. All in all, the dental aspect may be good, but the business practice is unethical. read more

At first I did like this dentist but now, I don't! I got a bridge from them a while back. I had pain where my bridge was and they said it was nothing. Years go by my bridge fell off and I had pain in the area where my bridge fell, they still cemented and said my gums were swollen but it's fine. 3 days later my bridge fell off. They said I had bone loss, so if my bridge keeps falling out I need a new one. I asked how did I get bone loss?? They never really gave me an answer. I get a really had pain where my bridge is at, this time the pain is unbearable. So I go to a new dentist. It was the same BS, you have bone loss you need to get a new bridge and get your wisdom tooth pulled. Okay, so I move forward with the procedure and they tell me when I get my wisdom tooth removed it won't hurt bc I have a root canal. I asked why would you put a new bridge when I have a root canal?? They said it's fine! Well I went with my guts and I go to see a specialist that is at a 3rd location. They showed me the x rays and said my tooth canal is so bad, that is causing a lot of health problems, including bone loss. So the bone loss is from a root canal that had been left untreated!!! Wow all this time I kept going in and I told them I had pain they knew the whole time but didn't tell me?? They even did x rays and just ignored it and told me it's bone loss you need a new bridge! Horrible. They kept charging me over $200 each time I went in to get my bridge cemented back on! SCAMMERS! Do not go here! This place deserves a 0 star! Not even a 1 star! read more

I had an emergency due to my bottom denture plate breaking yesterday and I called several dentist offices and no one had any openings till late October and when I called Woodcrest dental studio the secretary Sarah was very nice and polite and was absolutely so kind to get me in the next day at 1pm which I was so amazed and so grateful. I went to my appointment and I was expecting for the wait time to be at least 4 hours because of my previous dentist it took that long g to be seen. It honestly took less than 1 hour to be seen and that's with me having to get paperwork done as to which one of the front office secretaries helped me get them done because it was done on a laptop . It was the most pleasant dental visit that I have ever had, So 1000% I recommend this dental office to you if you have an emergency or just need a check up. The extractions were brutal. 1800's of dental extractions. Dr. Kalyani (the wife) came in at the very last and tried getting the last tooth out. She left the tooth fragments behind. The hammering, rocking me hard back and forth. Wide awake and praying for this to end. I required a lot of numbing medicine throughout the day procedure...I needed to be knocked out, was my reply. I had to ask if they had any gas or sedation options, never offered. I had to get out the chair with gauze and blood everywhere to go, to the lobby to find out. $180 later... didn't work, my body was in adrenaline, tense mode. Do that before the procedure. What I went through was unprofessional and unnecessarily inhumane. I asked her what about my 2 front teeth will they match the look / length at this appt. Because I knew this was to ensure all the details are correct and that "WE" agree on what is to be delivered (no surprise expectations). She told me no worries, I will handle it, It will be taken care of, (my mom heard this). I have now learned that was not an accurate statement. However, she did a fantastic job on the color match. While the denture fits and looks natural, the Dr. (wife) didn't not keep her word and the 2 front teeth did NOT match, the look or length .. the aesthetic. She didn't even try to note my gum line and at my post-op she could have cared less... but offered me $2k solution. The day of my extractions, I was not shown my new upper denture until after. Had I seen the denture before...as well knew that neither Dr. (husband or wife) were not doing the extractions, I would have not allowed the extractions. Why do I believe my comment about the office is a licensed "money grab": The Dr. (wife) said "remember when I told you that this is just a temporary denture, it will last about 6 months and start to get loose. When it gets to that timeline, just come on in and we can design your perfect denture, that will be about $2k". The state paid for this denture ... so let's hit the "patients pockets up" now. Staying on the money topic... in the middle of my extraction from hell. I had to (yes, me, myself the patient) had to get up, mouth full of gauze and blood dripping (remember lack of communication) I came from the back went to the lobby area where the front desk is located and asked...(I believe she is the office manager) told me that it would be $180.00... I didn't care because I was in so much pain (I am talking about the 2 front upper teeth (the only healthy ones) but they sit under your nose, so the level of sensitivity is 1000%. The gas is going but the level of discomfort and anxiety was INSANE AND INHUMANE! The gas they gave me didn't do ANYTHING! I am fighting a rare form of cancer. I would have respected the Dr. Kaylani, if she had just said, your case is a little too complex for this practice. I can refer you to a surgeon. etc. If their practice really can handle my medical complexities. She said "ok I spoke to my husband, and he said since you used / went through the whole canister we will give you back $60.00 we think that is fair! Just WOW 5+ hours...from 10:30am to 4:45pm... Lastly, adding insult to injury! Still at the post-op, I mentioned that my denture was loose, I can't really bite, like eating a sandwich. The Dr. had her tech put some type of grip substance in the denture (not sure if he is a student or new to the office) another dental tech came in and told him how to put in the denture... when I tell you he did the most sloppiest job. The substance was put in places and dried ... so it appears that something is in the teeth. Then the Dr. comes back in and tells me that the grip only last a couple of months , but you can come back, it's about a $100... unbelievable! If you just need a a basic dentist definitely. If you have health complexities or don't want surprise cost or have to think as the patient and the office staff, I would recommend researching another dentist. read more

Really nice staff and office. My wife has been a patient for about a year. She needed a lot of work done, and she has anxiety with dentist. But they made sure she was comfortable, they are patient oriented. Just recently my wife's permanent retainer wire broke, she didn't have an appt but it was urgent. SCAM DENTIST I came here to get a cleaning & exam as a check up while having braces after not having an exam for 4 years I got X-rays, and the doctor came in, glanced at the X-rays, glanced at my mouth, and went boasting about how terrible my mouth was and how I have numerous cavities. Then went on to say that sometimes insurance doesn't approve fills to people under 30 (which is completely made up?) and I might have to pay cash. I went to check out and to book my upcoming "fills" and I'm told that I have NINE cavities. Despite having no pain, and being a vigilant flosser and brusher, Once again they stated that insurance probably wouldn't cover these fills, and I'd have to pay cash for all NINE cavities but that they would give me a "discount" Fast forward & I call my insurance and tell them everything this doctor told me, and they say that they have never heard of such a thing. I cancelled all the appointments for the NINE fills, and made an appointment with another dentist without telling them any previous history. I got X-rays. I got a THOROUGH exam, and they said I have ONE small cavity. I then told them my experience at this dentist, and they were appalled. The doctor here tried telling me I needed 5 crowns and a bridge because I had cavities that can't be filled. They tried charging me over $10,000!!! I have since gone to two separate dentists for second opinions. Both new dentists say I have nothing wrong with my mouth. No cavities no crowns needed. This place is a joke. SCAM BEWARE!! This dentist lies to patients and lies to insurance companies to line his own pockets. He makes you pay out of pocket for procedures and tells you your insurance doesn't cover that procedure when in fact they do. Then he turns around and also collects payment from the insurance company. And to make it even worse, he then charged my secondary insurance that he told me he didn't even accept. So basically, he's tripple charging for procedures. All of my teeth that he work on now hurt when there was no pain before any procedure. He left a gap where the tooth is supposed to meet the gum line where huge pieces of food now gets trapped there. Another tooth he worked on always has an abscess on the gum. Another tooth, he supposedly drilled away a cavity and filled it but he didn't actually get the cavity out, he covered it up and it hurts. He also botched a bone graft where I had a missing tooth that I was trying to get ready for an implant. This is a horrible dental office! Do not let the 5 star reviews fool you. My teeth are ruined now, I paid a lot of money and now I have to pay to have them all fixed. I've never given a review for anything but I feel I should inform everyone and hopefully save someone from going through the same thing. read more

Have had good treatments at this office over the last five years & missed the past almost two years because Of unpredicted life health situations.. so now I'm back to give the office another try after visiting a different office but I keep returning to Woodcrest because I feel comfortable & believe they say the truth about your overall dental health.. The Dr's & staff are all very knowledgeable, kind, and nice all around, however my last two weeks was painful. On 1/12 the office was busy and I waited patiently as we should. I had my front side filings which came out great but the immediate outcome was burnt gums & blister on top side of my lip . I've never had a blister after dental work so it's just odd. So here to my birthday week and I'm still not clear and I'm just so sad, bummed out cause I was looking forward to celebrate but can't get past my ugly lip. So lesson learned to not get dental work done on a week prior to your birthday or week of ‍. I really wanted to give it a 5 but my situation changed it.. Sorry but honesty is everything to me. Perhaps my body was too sensitive for that treatment & maybe the equipment used needed to be modified or adjusted for my needs.. It's a good thing we must wear so it's less embarrassing. Originally my mother was/is a patient who raved about the personable care she received from her Dentist so I asked her to see if they were taking new patients to try and get some work done before I relocated at the end of the month. I'm so glad I did! I am or "was" afraid of the dentist and everyone at Woodcrest has changed my perspective for the good! Dr. Harsh Kalyani and Dr. Ashini Kalyani (Mrs.) ensured my 3 sons and I were treated in accordance to our individual needs and fears. Two truly masters of their craft and immensely beautiful people indeed, inside and out!! Although I know there is some level of discomfort going to be associated with dental treatments I'm less reluctant to have any issues handled immediately due to their sincere concern about my overall experience. From the receptionist to the Dental assistant, Dental technician and the Dental hygienist...I felt important and personally cared for. Ashley was the first to take photos in addition to x-rays of my teeth a very enlightening experience that she made less embarrassing. I brought all 3 of my sons for a deep cleaning the very next week. And suggested my adult sons continue seeing Dr. K for routine visits. The best part is that it was my youngest son's second visit, he's only 7, and he did just fine for his cleaning and x-rays while watching a little TV as the work was completed. He is not afraid and I'm glad they made his experience so comfortable that he does not associate anything but positivity with the word Dentist!!!!! That is huge for me. He now understands that preventive care is the key but if Dental work is necessary the experience doesn't have to be painful. I almost hate that I'm relocating because I would want them to remain my family dentist indefinitely. But whenever possible I'll refer anyone to them for Dental care! read more
