Masks are required inside while you wait. They take Medicare are provide great dental work. They will even assist you in the DentiCal process and provide you with referrals to specialist who accept medical if you need additional work that they cannot provide. Both Dr. Harsh and Ashini Kalyani were great! They were very patient with me and my pre-dentists jitters. Every appointment I had was done to perfection and they made sure I was satisfied with my results every time (that being my crown/root canal). The staff was also friendly and easy to talk to about my concerns. The prices were fair and they also accepted Dental Cal and had other payment options! We had laughs and they would play music or movies that would distract me while I was getting my teeth worked on. Lastly, the cleanliness of this location is impecable and I was sure to watch closely! However, I come here frequently for cleanings and every time, I am waiting over 30 minutes after my appointment time to start my procedure. It's super annoying to schedule an appointment & not even be acknowledged for treatment until 30 minutes after my appointment. Better punctuality would be nice. read more

I feel so lucky to be a patient at Woodcrest. Both doctors have always taken time to listen to me, my experiences and provide knowledge and guidance on the next best steps for me. Irene and Geneva up front are so kind and welcoming and it feels like catching up with old friends when I come in for appointments. Despite good oral hygiene I do experience a lot of nerve pain so the doctors are very conscious of this and check in with me about how I'm feeling. I've had fillings done and had my TMJ addressed, and even gotten medical Botox to help with the symptoms. I would recommend this place to anyone and they make me excited to come see the dentist :) read more

I came here with many cavities and much work needed, they worked with me, my schedule and my insurance plan to get me a treatment plan that worked so well for me. Tackled more serious issues at first, kept a close eye on watchful areas and here I am cavity free and none of the areas giving me any issues 2 years later. I do not recommend this place, they will never see another penny out of me. I took my child in for his checkup and the Dr straight up ignored my son, I mean I arrived at my appt a few minutes early and was called back just to wait for almost an hour as the Dr walked past us a dozen times never acknowledging us or even coming by to say I'll be right there, just acted as if we didn't exist, idk if she's triggered by little boys with disabilities but lucky I didn't want to act out in front of my son so we just walked out because it was clear as day she didn't want to treat him, something felt off and I was about to start recording and everything, very unprofessional . That Dr has always been awkward and not very personable but I just brushed it off not to mention my insurance told me that my crowns are fully covered but yet they were trying to charge me out of pocket, my endodontist and new dentist told me this and were shocked that I was about to pay them out of pocket which made me call my insurance to verify. I'm so glad that insolent dentist did that in a way because I was about to pay these people all my money and something tells me that they were going to try and bill insurance after I payed them just like like another review stated, they will charge you out of pocket expenses KNOWING that's it's fully covered by your insurance , low down dirty people, good riddance scumbags. read more

I visited this office for a basic teeth cleaning and nothing more as I had provided them with a full set of X-rays which were only 4 months old. After listening to Dr. Karyani for 15 minutes trying to upsell me for more X-rays and a deep cleaning. I again told him I just wanted a basic teeth cleaning. He said ok, so the hygienist flossed my teeth and polished them. After she said she was finished, I informed her that my teeth had only been polished and not cleaned. She called the dentist who informed me that I had received his practice's basic cleaning but he would quickly remove the tartar (as if it was a favor to me). So he spent about 5 minutes doing that. Afterwards, no floss or even a rinse! Needless to say, upon arriving home I immediately filed a grievance with my insurance company and plan to file complaints with the ADA and State Licensing Board. read more

Horrible! They over charge you and try to tell you you need so much stuff done in your mouth, when in reality you don't. They break it up so you won't need to pay so much at once. But, one of the procedures I needed to get done they were charging me $900, when another dentist charged me $170. They're ripping you off. At this point I'm not sure if I like one more than the other.... they both are super awesome! The two star is for the nice dental assistant who helped me. Other than that my experience with Woodcrest Dental has not been good. I went there to get regular teeth cleaning, the doctor took a peek at my teeth and said I cannot get the regular cleaning today only the polishing because the insurance lady needs to look at my coverage and determine if I can get it. The lady is out on that day so I will have to come back. I was not pleased by this but I thought maybe this is how it's done in CA (i just moved from out of state where a teeth cleaning is a teeth cleaning and is covered by all dental insurance). I then told the doctor that one side of my teeth is bothering me when chewing, he informed me that there is nothing wrong with my teeth but i should be wearing night guards or do Invisalign because the pain was caused by clenching and grinding. I was not surprised by the night guard suggestion as I have been gently reminded by my previous dentist as well but I am surprised by his quick diagnosis without really examining my tooth. I let it go because I thought I will get another chance when I get a regular cleaning. So I waited for the insurance lady to call me and got nothing. I call instead and the lady told me the cleaning is not covered and I need to pay out of pocket. This is ridiculous so I called my insurance myself and was told it was covered in full. My insurance called the dental office and it turns out the insurance lady was using outdated codes... I am quite annoyed at this point but still decided to continue because I needed the cleaning and I had limited options that are close to home. I went in again for the regular cleaning which was fine. I got a different doctor this time and I brought up my issue when chewing again. This time she looked at it and told me there is a cavity and I scheduled to come back to have it filled. A few days later, when I returned I was told that in fact I need a root canal. This concerned me very much if the doctor really knows what is wrong with my tooth. When I left, the insurance lady said she is having her lunch now and will call me to let me know how much the root canal will cost. Of course, I never heard from anyone on this. I don't know how this place got so many good reviews. Based on my experience, I have zero confidence in either the doctors or the competency of the insurance lady. read more

My Daughter is 13 and absolutely doesn't mind going because all she knows are these guys and they make her feel comfortable and that Dentists aren't all bad.
