And I haven't received any stink eye if I ask for cold and flu tablets from behind the counter. You know what I am talking about. It's conveniently located near Foodland and other shops. So, you can do a round of shopping for all your needs.

Before I know it I've bought a bunch of stuff I never intended on getting and don't really need. Priceline Pharmacy knows this, and works to my weaknesses, with a range of personal supplies, makeup, haircare, dyes, moisturisers and cute things galore to browse. While I can't speak about the pharmacy itself, I can tell you they've got a good selection of all the other stuff, with the likes of Revlon, Rimmel, Maybelline and other counter makeup brands, as well as a pretty good range of hair care - perhaps the biggest range on the Parade, with decent prices too. Plus, there are always enough staff to help out and at the counters, and the opening hours are really good by Adelaide standards. A great addition to the Parade!

They're quick and efficient with the prescription process - although there were a couple of times they didn't have exactly what I'd needed, they did have a supply in the next day to be able to fill my script in time - and it was at a time when a number of other chemists were having a problem keeping up with demand for that particular medication, too, so probably isn't the normal situation for them. I do remember a memorable trip when I'd gone in to get something, probably Nurofen plus or something similar, and they asked me how I intended taking them. Standing there in a business suit, after a long day at work, on a friday evening and just wanting to be home, I tossed the flippant "I was thinking of taking about half the packet along with some red bull and few quick vodka shots before I head out for the night" answer back to them - luckily the grin at the end won out over the slightly panicked expression behind the counter, and they let me leave with my 'stash'

On top of all the usual discounted products, there is a row of further marked down items as you wind your way along the checkout line. This chemist is particularly good for brand label fragrances at prices even cheaper than Duty Free. Always pick up a catalogue as you walk in to browse through current sales. If like me, you buy a lot of supplements, you probably won't find them cheaper anywhere else and they have a huge range to choose from which is really impressive. If you are female, I dare you to go in here and not buy anything.

The prescription I just had filled was cheaper than usual and there were discount stickers on products across the store. There is a clear system for dropping off, collecting and paying for prescriptions which allows them to deal with a lot of people in a fluid manner. It's fun browsing here as the range is huge. Vitamins, supplements, perfume, dental, haircare, makeup, first aid and so much more. It's so busy that I just recommend not going in if you've got a headache, unless of course you're going to buy a headache remedy - they've got plenty of those!

Aldgate Pharmacy accepts health care cards and you can opt for a cheaper generic brand of medicine here, which I think is fantastic. The pharmacists are always quick to give you any information you may need and prescriptions never take very long even when they say you may have to wait a while. What else can you say about a chemist really, it is what it is and I feel comfortable here.

The perfect place to get gifts for your loved ones (Insert sarcasm here). But really, it is a handy store to have in the mall, not as frustrating to get to as the Cheap as Chips out yonder. I find myself going there to buy wrapping paper or sticky tape or the kinds of things that don't NEED to be of superior quality. The staff are no doubt in borderline slave labor. Please be forgiving if they do not have those fake cheery retail smiles you have come to love from other stores. Cheap products, and cheap service, but that is to be expected.

It was fast approaching 5pm, when I suddenly remembered one last thing! Zing! I told my best friend that I needed one more thing before I went home. I told her: "Xmas shopping makes me go nuts sometimes! Figuring out what to get my loved ones is half the battle, and then having to find a shop that actually sells decent wrapping paper!!" My best friend resorted to taking me to this store and she found for me a nice Xmas box for only $2. She said after with a very serious expression, "The Reject Shop never fails. You don't need to buy much this Xmas, or need expensive wrapping paper." (Note that because I only had notes, when I opened up my wallet, my countless 5cents coins flew up in the air, and all over the ground. How embarassing! It had to happen in the Reject shop, out of all stores! Luckily my best friend helped with the picking up of all my silver Aussie coins and we recovered quickly!) I gave this store an extra star, because from time to time I do find this store useful when running low on funds. As self-confident and highly independent as I am, we can all benefit big time with the extra wisdom, support and help from our best friends, especially over this Xmas holiday season, when most of us have hit hard financial times. This cotton on is HUGE…read more My jaw dropped when I first saw it and it hit the floor when I walked in. you may not be aware but Rubi Shoes is a division of cotton on, so one section of this store is dedicated to shoes. Another section is dedicated to accessories and there are wall to wall clothes catering to guys, gals and kids for your browsing pleasure. If I'm in shopping mode, I can spend a good hour in here, happily sifting through shoes and pretty dresses while contemplating if buying another pair of wedge heels really is a bit obnoxious. The guys section is nearly as big as the girls, so your partner doesn't have to stand there awkwardly while you revel in the good feeling that is accessories, and he wont come back for a while (hopefully). I guarantee you wont leave here without a new something or other, so if you are trying to curb your spending, don't even walk past because the colourful television set display is the first thing you wont say no to.

Like Elissa says this store is massive and has everything from your usual fashion items to shoes, pyjamas underwear and even swimwear and caters for the whole family. It is a great place to shop for you basic items like singlets and shorts. Most of the cotton dresses are very prone to creasing so you are better off buying something with a bit of lycra in it. If you are buying dresses I suggest the more T shirt style that you can just throw over a pair of bathers in summer. Their pyjamas are really good and the quality is there. We came away with some great summer pyjamas and a cute swing singlet. Considering the store is huge and the range is definitely on the cheaper side, they have done a really good fit out that doesn't feel cheap unlike some of the other competitors in the market.

Sometimes you'll find brand names here in good nic, but this is more a hunt and hope kinda place, although plenty of nineties gold is to be found relatively easily. A lot people use clothes coupons here so there may be some interesting banter between the fellow customers too!

Do you expect me to be happy waiting in line if I had a really runny nose? Where are your tissue boxes?! -No-one approached me, at all, even after walking up and down twice! I had to go to the General Enquiries counter myself, and even upon arriving there, there was no-one at the counter and I still had to wait even longer. Do you expect me to be that patient, if I was really sick? -You seem to be more into selling make-up rather than functioning like a proper pharmacy (to help the sick). What I Like About You: -General Enquiries lady was informative about the best brands to buy -She told me that your professional service and value sets you apart from the other pharmacies -Cold & Flu Medications -The back wall is full of Vitamins & Supplements -Optical store It does have a convenient location in Gawler Place.
