And there were only 3 other tables who had people seated, only 2 of which had placed food orders as well. This timing is unacceptable. Fantastic! I have now dined here a few times. I have eaten the amazing steak dinners, today I had lunch there and I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad, the salad was so good. I don't usually order salads but I was just very impressed with the chicken and the dressing! My friend ordered the chicken sandwich, she loved it. The waitress was kind! Do not come here for dinner. When we arrived, the hostess was talking about reservations that she was trying to reach out to the people. She then told us about a really special table she was sitting is at. It had a great view of two parking lots! Ok.... We sat at the table for a while before anyone came. The guy who did show up mumbled something about the waitress being on break. My husband ordered a couple of beverages with lime. They came with lemon and lime. The menu was hard to order from. Everything is fried! Good luck if you have any fat related dietary restrictions. This was a really disappointing experience. My husband and I had the chance to visit Woodside Grill for our 32nd Anniversary dinner on 3.16.23. The location is convenient and right off of HWY 5 in Anderson, CA. It was our first time dining at the restaurant. We made reservations just in case it was crowded on a Thursday night. It's a great thing I did as there was a dog show/convention happening at the hotel. The staff were friendly, professional, attentive and courteous. The food was delicious, plated well and prepared to perfection. The location is quaint and cozy it's a bar and grill. Can be a little noisy if it's crowed. Would definitely give them a try if you're in the area or passing through. Also recommend making a reservation through open table. read more

Outstanding service and delicious food in a quiet and intimate setting. The pork tenderloin plate looked like a work of art and apple and pork combination was yummy. Those yellow carrots, though, may have stolen that show. The farfalle pasta with spicy sausage, roasted tomatoes, and spinach was nothing short of scrumptious goodness. I'll be having some for lunch tomorrow. We had no idea that those desserts could have fed a crowd but my husband ate most of that brownie a la mode and I brought 2/3 of the tuxedo cake home for tomorrow night. Our server was wonderful. Excellent food and service. I'm interested in holding an event there and the owner came to my table to meet me.

To begin with our server was Darcy, she made our cocktails, a black bottom lemon drop and an old fashioned. Both were excellent. We were there early so we had the appetizer for happy hour pricing. A fig and prosciutto flat bread with balsamic, feta and arugula (tip-try the arugula on the side to avoid it getting steamed on the flatbread). We split the flank steak with chimichuri (sp?) which was perfectly prepared. The Woodside has never let us down over the years. The food currently is fantastic! read more

Been there three times within the last 30 days, once for lunch and twice for breakfast. For lunch, we loved our hamburgers, but our breakfasts were the absolute worst that any of us (in my party) ever had. Perhaps this is a better place for lunch and dinner? I had the quiche this morning and it was absolutely atrocious, I mean really disgusting. What was that??? It was truly terrible. My hash browns were just crunchy and lacked any favor (they were burned last time). On Mother's Day weekend, I took my mom there for breakfast, and she said her eggs were gross, like an egg substitute. Today, my husband said his pancakes were undercooked. As I stated, my quiche was bad. My omelet (on Mother's Day weekend) was pretty good. However, when we went for lunch, on a random Friday, we really enjoyed our hamburgers. Moving forward, we won't go back for breakfast, unless they make major breakfast changes, but will return for lunch or dinner. Prices are fair, but not for the barely-edible breakfast offerings. Honestly, the quiche was not edible. I went to this place back when it first opened, and it was good, but then went downward and had not been there in years. We heard they made recent changes and were eager to try it again. I hope breakfast offerings improve because we enjoy a good breakfast on weekends, but will be avoiding this place for breakfast. Service was bad when we went there for burgers, on a random Friday, but it appeared they were busy with a big event. We almost walked out because we were ignored even after seating ourselves, after waiting a long time to be seated (the restaurant was empty). Although the breakfast food was really bad, the service was adequate/good during breakfast. I'm hopeful that this place is improving, but I do hope that they reconsider their breakfast offerings. I usually love quiche but a frozen quiche from the grocery store would have tasted so much better than whatever it was that I was served this morning. After waiting for over 35 minutes for our food to arrive (there were only 4 other tables to be served) the food was lukewarm at best. The waiter offered to "heat it up", but since we had waited so long for our food we ate it anyway. $32 for pork chop and $45 for the steak. No manager on site, I was to call and talk to Marnie. Wow! This was a great experience from start to finish! Debbie, the hostess, was very sweet and patient! Our server Fidel was very attentive and helpful! When we arrived a party of 15 had just been seated and another party was showing up. Fidel made sure to come in and check on us and let us know about the wait. He had a lot of tables but he was on top of it! Our food was also very good! My husband and I took my parents and my dad usually complains about something during the course of the meal but he had nothing but good things to say about the food and service. They were understaffed for a Saturday morning at 9:00 AM and people started walking out as they waited for 1 hr and did not receive the food. I would think letting the customers know in advance would help. Especially if you are out there with little kids it's hard to explain why they have to wait 45 min for their waffles/ pan cakes. French fries were, as our server said, "from a factory" and coated in some sort of batter. I went against her recommendations and got the short ribs, which was not short ribs but what seemed to be a braised round steak. It was very quiet when I got there, I ordered a drink and appetizer - calamari... it was ready pretty quick, and was delicious! We stayed at the Gaia hotel while visiting family for the holidays and ate here for lunch. The inside is somewhat dated, but still comfortable and clean. The service was good. We were pretty much the only people in the restaurant at the time. My wife and I shared the fries and crunchy chicken salad. I really liked both. The chicken came in small bites and lettuce was fresh and crisp. The fries were delicious and plentiful. My mom and niece did not enjoy the power bowl, I think it was called, but that is definitely on them. It's a bit to far for me to return. I recommend for locals to give it a try though. read more

My husband and I tried this spot out for the first time a few days ago. We were greeted by a 100% friendly staff. We were seated immediately. we are heavily tattooed, so usually we're treated like crap. The greeter asked us if we wanted the romantic high top table! She also asked if we wanted our light above dimmed. She was super friendly but also seemed to maybe be the owner in how she conducted herself. Very cool. We were not that hungry so we ordered the fried calamari and the rib eye to split. Everything was amazing! The steak was cooked exactly how I love, medium! They didn't care that we split our meal, even brought out extra plates. (Some nice restaurants charge extra. I think that's bull shit).
