I sampled a vegan chocolate chip cookie, a cabbage stir fry, a jambalaya made in a more healthy manner, a blackberry concentrated tea, pita with tzatziki, a mini Greek salad. It is a nicely laid out space, but some vendors were not set up when the event opened. The veggie pizza did not arrive until an hour after the event opened and the one sheet pizza was quickly gone. It was a two hour event, but most of the vendors, both food and products, had nothing left after an hour.

My favorite was the veggie stir fry from Sunshine Vegan Eats. The jambalaya, by Ravelle Culinary Creations, was also very good. It had a little kick already, but she offered Frank's hot sauce if you wanted more umph. There were vendors with healthy teas, Tom's was offering pita with tzatziki tasters and Mister Pizza had veggie pizza tasters. In the dessert options we had a tasty vegan chocolate chip cookie. Communication with family is extremely lacking. Family is not informed of emergency situations such as ER visits. Most residents rely on medication. I don't understand how a resident can run out of their prescriptions, then subsequently suffer because of it and the ARC not perceive this as a problem. Many of the staff are wonderful, caring individuals but something is obviously wrong if there is constant turnover and a severe lack of communication. have to ask - what is upper management doing or not doing?

Brought my office team of 18 for a team building event. We split into 2 classes - glass flamework &…read moreglass fusing for what turned out to be a fun and unique team building experience. Both groups raved about it and commented how great it was to do something different. The owner, Mike, was friendly and very welcoming. Megan was phenomenally helpful in providing information, answering questions, and even giving me a tour of the space prior to booking. Our group ranged in age 30's-60's and it was great fun for all. Highly recommend! Can't wait to go pick up our masterpieces and an already planning when I can go back for some classes on my own!

Took a MIG Welding Class and it was well worth the money. Teacher was friendly, informative and…read morewilling to help at any given moment. We had a run down of all the safety guidelines, what welding is, how to do it and then LOTS of hands on time. More than half the class was actually being able to be hands on and practice welding. We even got a short introduction to TIG and Stick welding as well as a demonstration of the Plasma Cutter. Was a very fun class and I highly recommend if you're looking to learn something to look into any of the many programs

But if you do that it'll be the Self-harmory rather than the Armory. The Connecticut Street Armory has a lot of scary ghost stories about it, and one of my extended family members was actually murdered here while on active service. For this reason I want to give it a low star rating, but it's just such a beautiful and old and classical building, that it's hard not to give it a 5. It takes up an entire city block, and it's the kind of amazing structure they just would not build these days. Sometimes in some cases in some ways, the old ways are better, and in terms of buildings this Armory proves that is the truth.

High on the West side by Connecticut and Niagara is a fortress looking building. That's this one. If you drive by on weekends you will often see reservists in the area, I think they do training or other exercises here. But other times, it gets rented out, for parties, rock concerts, wedding receptions or whatever else you may want. Its a super cool venue for whatever event, the caterers that Ive experienced have been quite tasty. Ive seen a few concerts there, it can get very dark and personal for those. If you go to the observation deck at City Hall, you will see this structure. It stands out. As far as I have experienced, parking is street. If there's a lot, I'm not aware of it.
