There's self serve checkout which means you'll be in and out as soon as you can find your items and pay for them. Probably one of the cooler facts about this Woolies is that there is a DVD rental vending machine as you exit so for a few bucks you can rent a flick from the giant green vending machine!

Like all Asian grocery stores, you can find everything to do with Asian cooking here and some more rare ingredients like Laksa leaf (needed for curry laksa) and durian (frozen). They also sell a range of nyonya kueh (Asian desserts) and on some days you can get yu tiao (fried dough sticks) for porridge.

But Fruits on Coventry is the one I frequent the most, so I'm giving it my top prize. It's busy here, which means I know things are turning over quickly. Everything is super fresh and in addition to the usual suspects, I love the exotic fruits, special herbs, "trendy" things like edible flowers and micro herbs and purple carrots. The service is always efficient and friendly. While shopping around the other stalls may help me save a few dollars overall, this place has everything and knowing I get terrific quality and good service I generally don't bother and just make this my one stop shop for roughage.

They had no idea how to pack... squishy things at the bottom of the bag, frozen foods and toilet cleaner together in same bag. Pointed this out to manager but service never improved. Luckily, discovered an excellent Woolworths at South Melbourne (next to market) which is use all the time now... well worth the extra five minutes driving time for the vastly better service and fresher more extensive range.
