Fantastic experience here. We had dinner on a Sunday evening and made a reservation in advance. We were seated immediately, and the options were explained and we made our meat and hot pot choices. They also have a a food bar with various noodles and accoutrements for the meat. And they bring rice to the table along with sauces, fish cakes, kimchi, and pickles. It was a lot of fun to cook the meat with the kiddos and everything was fresh and delicious. Customer service was friendly and the place itself has a relaxed ambience. Will definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

We went for an early Mother's Day Lunch here this past Saturday. This place opened as Fusion Kitchen, then, new owners took over and change the name to Woo Mee Ok Korean BBQ four months ago. This AYCE Korean BBQ Restaurant is the only authentic K BBQ in the Metroplex area as far as I'm concerned. The meats are fully freshly marinated, sliced properly and fast to grill. The meats are moist and soft once grilled, it's delicious. LA Kalbi is the best and so as their Bulgogi. The Hotpot with beef broth is sooo good, I won't forget the taste of it. Serving staff, Shaiyen (I think) is friendly, helpful and had patience with our 4 grandkids that made a mess. Lots of parking, has outdoor patio dining and clean and well decorated indoor Korean BBQ Restaurant. Will be back again soon to try their Hawaiian Pork and other meats.

First time at this place, Service was great, pricey$ , overall food was good. If you like to cook your own meat than you will enjoy. Chicken teriyaki was delicious

It was honestly really worth the money. It is pretty good the food quality isn't not the greatest but for the price it was delicious. You get a lot of variety and I like how there is a food bar. The restaurant was really clean and spacious. The waiters and staff were super polite and were helpful. Loved it here.

Good food. Not very spacious. The taste of food was basic not outstanding. Quality of meat was good. Pocket friendly! Not many dessert options too!

Love the mix between the bbq and hot pot

Got the regular order without the premium. I liked how you can mix the food to either cook in the hot pot or on the grill. Condiments was good, and service was on point. I liked the beef belly, bugolgi, but the brisket was a bit tough. The salad bar had a good amount of options for the hot pot. Parking is good. The tables & floors were clean, but overall hoods and light fixtures could use a little TLC.

We went on a Monday during dinner at 6. Fusion kitchen is always my favorite low key Korean barbecue spot around. They have a wide variety of selections of meats and hot pot options that doesn't cost an arm and and a leg. Probably like $24.99 plus tax for both the hot pot and kbbq! I know some folks have bad experiences here, but not me. It's always been near perfection for me. There's always a gentleman in the kitchen cutting up the beef chuck and beef brisket, so it's always coming out piping fresh. Something about him cutting it on the spot and then putting it on the line gets me. We got the combo kbbq and hot pot for today. The hot pot comes in three different flavors. Mild, Sichuan, and tom yum is what I'm thinking the flavors were. All pretty good. For the kbbq meats, you always gotta start off with the beef brisket and beef chuck. It's fast to cook, great tasting, and fresh. All the meats that we ate today were really good. Don't forget that the LA galbi is towards the rice pot which is sometimes hidden from people. All the ingredients were really good and the employees in the back of the line kept it stocked. Our server was working by himself, but he was great. Server changed the grill twice, refilled out hotpot, drinks were refilled. Overall, still one of my favorite spots to go to. Plus they have great drinks specials as well

Woomeeok Plano, formerly Fusion Kitchen (FK), just opened along US75. We've been to FK many times and considered it decent quality. I've also been to the Dallas/Garland location of Woomeeok and liked it a lot, so this was kind of a no-brainer for us. While the price is now higher ($29), we feel the quality is also better. The hotpot is a bit of an afterthought with few meats but a decent selection on the buffet. The KBBQ meats were excellent, and there was a larger variety than at FK. Long story short, we enjoyed it and will be back!

I tried making a reservation online but it was declined. We got there on Saturday around 7pm and the wait was about 20 minutes. The service and food options were good. I think this place is one of the best pricing for all you can eat kbbq and hotpot. You even get to chose 3 different types of broth for the hotpot.

I love ordering the combos so I get a little bit of everything that I want. The portions are decent if you're hungry & want to finish everything OR if you're not too hungry, eat half, and take the other half to-go for lunch the next day. The service is aligned with what you'd expect from a Korean place. Some of the older ladies working there are so sweet and helpful, especially if you tell them it's your first time, and some of them seem more intimidating and aggressive. Typically there isn't a wait for tables. Only times I've waited for a table are peak weekend dinner hours. The most I waited was maybe 15 minutes, as their service is quite fast for a sit down restaurant. This location has seats where you can store your personal belongings in them!

They have a variety of tofu soup options, along with other traditional Korean dishes. My table of four ordered a seafood pancake, various tofu soups, and kalbi. The seafood pancake was disappointing-- there was very little seafood and the center was mushy, not crispy. I got the intestine tofu soup in medium spicy, which had large chunks of intestine and generous helpings of tofu. The soup portions are so large, I didn't even finish my rice. As for the side dishes/banchan, nothing really stood out. As for the service, we were seated and helped really quickly, but pretty much left alone for the remainder of the meal. The prices here are decent, especially if you share a combo meat and soup with a friend.

We got the baby octopus bibimbap with the steamed egg and bulgogi bibimbap with the tofu soup. The banchan was also really fresh and the kimchi really stood out. The portions were huge! I love that the bibimbap comes out on a flat sizzling pan to maximize the crunchy rice you get from it. The baby octopus was delicious and had great flavor. The steamed egg had a spongy texture which and was also really flavorful. The tofu soup was not as thick as some that you might get but it had a really good savory flavor that you can taste in the soup. Even before the star of the meal appeared, kudos to the smattering of banchan that came out: sprouts, cucumber kimchi, sweet potato, mini meat patties, kimchi, steamed egg, tofu soup, salad greens seasoned, cheese + corn... I hope I didn't miss any! The mushroom bibimbap is flavorful! We've never had this particular bibimbap before and man it goes well with the meat. Beef rib was tender and nice. We wanted it a bit rare :) and it was delish! Dipping sauce was nice but honestly doesn't need it! Oh and the grilled mushroom is good with it. Pork belly was the star of the meal. Had it with 2 week aged grilled kimchi (so special!!) and we got samjang with it, yummm. We were stuffed to the rim and had to take a little box of leftovers home. We were so touched with a little desert rice drink at the end, really rounded out the meal and experience all together. A+ for the service. Amazing job and everything grilled to perfection.

The food is consistently great, and when the staff is properly trained, the service is excellent too. The waitress with the toast necklace was honestly amazing and the highlight of our visit. Her communication was perfect. She asked exactly how we wanted the meat cooked, checked in on the pacing of the courses, and adjusted everything when we asked to slow things down. That level of attentiveness is what makes Korean BBQ enjoyable. At Ari, multiple staff members rotate between tables helping out, which is normally fine. Unfortunately, every time the more mature staff member came to our table, things started getting worse instead of better. After we had already explained that we preferred medium rare and wanted a slower pace, she came over, saw a little pink in the meat, turned the fire back on, and cooked it until it was overdone. She also started putting meat directly onto people's plates without asking first. Everyone at our table had different preferences. Some mainly wanted vegetables, our daughter preferred pieces with more fat on the sides instead of the more pink cuts, and some of us simply weren't ready for more food yet. Since we know everyone's preferences best, it would have made much more sense for us to serve the meat ourselves instead of having it automatically placed onto plates. What made it more awkward was that she kept placing food only into my tray and not anyone else's, which confused my wife and made the experience uncomfortable. She also started cooking additional courses before we had even finished the first two, despite us specifically asking to slow the pace down. The side dishes were also noticeably skimpy this visit compared to normal. Usually the portions are at least halfway filled, but this time some came out barely a quarter full. We kept asking for refills, especially for the daikon, and each refill only came with two or three small pieces. At that point it felt strange having to repeatedly ask for something that normally comes reasonably portioned. One suggestion for management: name tags would really help in a restaurant where the staff is actively cooking and interacting with customers. In a professional service environment, it would make communication much easier and more respectful if customers could address employees by name instead of describing them as "the toast necklace waitress" or "the mature lady." Still love Ari overall and will continue coming back. Hopefully this was just an off night and the communication/training issues get addressed.
