Great food, you've got it. Great music..... in spades. Terraza7 is maybe one of the greatest places you could visit in NYC. It's a music hall like no other, simultaneously offering some of the best music in a unique and intimate setting. They have a downstairs and an upstairs. I was recently here to listen to some Afro-Peruvian jazz. What a phenomenal time. I felt truly blessed to experience such magic. The music and talent were genius and what enhanced everything is audience interactions. If you're in the area, I genuinely feel like you have a responsibility to go and experience it for yourself. It'd be criminal not to. If you're not in the area, make plans to go.

I asked a simple question and it could have easily just been a "no". Instead, I was mocked by a belligerent, condescending man that made me feel extremely unsafe. The other staff members also witnessed his deranged tirade and did nothing to mediate, and if anything, enabled him. I have been a patron of this venue before but never again. I have never experienced such disrespect and lack of professionalism from a front door person before. The place is not "good" enough to treat people this way. My friends had the espresso martini which was tasty but a bit sweet for my taste. I had the beer and a shot, which, though the beer was a bit small, was a great beer for the deal. The vibes were lively, definitely where you go when you are trying to have a good time. It was a bit loud and probably night time is not a place you want to take a date, but more for friends and going out. Overall though, a great place and find and I would come again.
