I requested OPI when I came in, but they only have a brand I'd never seen before. I paid $45 for these (insane for a normal polish mani) and they were chipped by the time I got home. I went in and asked for a refund, which was refused. They did offer to redo it, but I didn't have another hour+ to spend to get the same product. I understand that regular polish doesn't last forever, but I would expect to get more than a day out of a $45 service. My technician was really nice, but that is the only positive I can share. Please save your money and avoid!

They accept walk ins as well as appointments. Both times I went I simply walked in and was able to get service within 5 minutes. The first time I went to get a shellac manicure with a spa pedicure. The two ladies working simultaneously both did fantastic work. Everything was so detail-oriented making sure it looked flawless. The second time I went to get a regular manicure as I was in a bit of a rush. It was more crowded during this visit however it wasn't long before I was helped. The manicure looked fantastic and its been about a week now with it still looking great. They accept credit cards and also have a stamp card for repeat visits. Every fourth visit you get $5 off!

Second of all, I never get my nails done professionally so I'm not very familiar with the process. And I don't feel comfortable complaining about something I have not a lot of knowledge about. Maybe it was also miscommunication. I saw my friends nails who also got SNS (at a different salon) and theirs look so much different from mine! It seems fairIy unassuming from…read morethe outside, you could easily miss it if you weren't looking closely for it, but like some kind of esoteric Tardis you discover it is a deceptively massive two storey space when you get through the door. It's main function is as a unisex hair salon and in that serves it's purpose well, with very capable, professional hairdressers and certainly reasonable prices as well as offering organic facials, manicure / pedicure and waxing. You may want to book a couple of hours in advance during busy times though. But it is so much more. A new age shop with salt lamps, a wide array of crystals and most of the usual such accouterments. There are also qualified therapists offering massage, reflexology, reiki, shamanic healing and crystal bed sound healing. There are regular yoga classes and a small cafe as well. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. A cathartic oasis amongst the trashy $2 shops, wannabe cafes and pubs and annoying tourist advise booths.

My friend and I made appointments online ahead of time but they didn't seem to care at all and didn't have space for us when we first arrives at out appointed time. Our pedicures were rushed through and they didn't both to rub any of the dead skin off of our feet. They barely understood what we said and also messed up the colour my friend had chosen twice. Before our nails were able to dry at all they put our shoes on and rushed us out of the chairs for the next customers who weren't even getting pedicures. While they put my shoes on to rush me out of the chair they knocked half the polish off of one of my big toes. To fix it she just painted over it again and left a big lump in the middle rather than repainting it. Looks worse than when I paint my toes on my own and didn't even help my feet.
