The individual booths are thoughtfully laid out, giving vendors plenty of room to display their merchandise without making the store feel cluttered. The entire shop was clean and smelled wonderful when we walked in--not dusty or musty like some consignment stores can be. The owners were also very friendly and welcoming. The booths offered a great variety of quality merchandise, ranging from beautiful antiques to fun, kitschy pieces. We found some lovely pillows and a gorgeous metal wall decoration that we simply couldn't leave without! Prices were reasonable for the quality of the items, and most things appeared to be priced to sell. If you are searching for rock-bottom thrift-store bargains, this may not be the place for you. However, if you want attractive and distinctive pieces for decorating your home, Thriftique offers a wonderful selection of vintage and newer décor at reasonable prices. I don't know if it's just me or where I come from but the prices here seem incredibly high. While…read morethere are most assuredly some vintage treasures to be found, who could possibly afford to buy them? I found the most adorable (very small) lamp of a cat but it was over $40! I found several other things I would have loved to have but almost everything I found was between $40 and $150, which is frankly too much for me. There's a lot of neat stuff to look through and I would say around 75% of it is actual vintage, but do be prepared to wade through loads of the same Temu jewelry (in multiple different booths!) and stuff that came from 5 Below marked up 100%. It's worth stopping by regardless, but try to come expecting to spend more than you normally would at an antique mall. I cannot stress enough how many beautiful pieces there were in here! Also, the woman at the counter was very nice and the bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Even if you don't need to go, check out the bathrooms while you're there!

It was like stepping into topsy-turvy world! Fast fashion! Matches in glass jars! Chunky plastic jewelry! Temu crap everywhere! I was gobsmacked! "This place has great reviews," I thought to myself, "has everyone been lying?" I was ready to call it quits when we finally exited that giant, nightmarish room. I turned down the main hallway as a final Hail Mary and...lo and behold, actual antiques! None of us realized that they had a section dedicated to new stuff in the form of "The Shoppe." What a relief when we finally noticed! Aside from "The Shoppe," I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Mississippi Antique Galleria. Are there some crazy prices going on in here? Sure! But are there also interesting pieces and good deals to be found? You betcha! I found a pair of 1990s Barbie magazines for under $5, a lovely pair of yellow pants for under $20 (along with a wonderful chat with the owner of the booth), and a favorite new place to come check out whenever I'm in town again! The ladies working at the front were so kind and friendly. They showed me to the (VERY nice and VERY clean) restroom that has a dressing corner so I could try on the pants. You can't even imagine how pleased I was that they had a dressing room! Dressing rooms at antique malls are rarer than unicorns. When I was ready to checkout, they were kind and courteous once again. I cannot recommend this place enough! Avoid "The Shoppe" and you'll have a wonderful time, especially if you've got some cash burning a hole in your pocket!

However, I am an antique dealer and I buy lots of furniture in lots of stores all over the country, Most of the stores that I frequent love to have me visit because I never ask for a discount and I am very friendly with store employees. I selected a piece or furniture, went to the check out counter with cash and never asked for a discount or any thing special. I was visiting from out of town and simply asked the owner if I might be able to borrow her dolly to load my piece and she very rudely raised her voice and said "I am NOT helping you load that." I told her that I had no intention of asking her to help--that I loaded furniture all the time by myself. She continued to argue with me and when I said "mam, I never asked you to help me. I load furniture by myself all the time." She snapped at me and said "you've already said that." She had a man visiting the store that offered to help me and she said "you need to make up your mind whether you are going to load now or later because he doesn't HAVE to help you." The kind man helped me load the piece without event and I thanked him for his kindness, I also asked him to share with his friend that I often drive a truck to stores and buy multiple pieces for cash, but because she was the rudest antique store owner I had ever encountered I would never be back. I talked with friends from the area and they have experienced similar attitude. What a shame. Lovely store but I'll buy somewhere else.
