After exploring many venues of various sizes, we came across this venue on the Internet. Eternally Yours Wedding Chapel is located at Camp Ithiel in Gotha, FL. We contacted the number on the Internet and spoke with Marcia, who was very accommodating. After learning that they had availability on our wedding date, we scheduled an appointment to take a look at the venue. This sweet little White Chapel is located on the back end of this fairly large piece of land, overlooking a small lake. When we visited in March, it was sunny, breezy & peaceful. We decided right then that this would be our wedding venue. From a budget standpoint, their $500 all-inclusive wedding package, is unbeatable for a small/intimate wedding party of under 50 people. We only needed the Chapel and the Minister, but Marcia is available for photos, if needed, bouquet/boutonniere, flower petals, pre-recorded music of your choice, etc. The Chapel is abit plain on the inside, so I wanted to transform it, without going over the top. On my wedding day, I was taken aback at what a beautiful job my wedding planner & florist did transforming this Chapel. Marcia assisted in playing the processional & recessional music; the Minister, Reverend Paul Ciola, performed THE MOST beautiful ceremony; my husband was completely taken with his words. The whole experience was perfect. The day was perfect. The Venue...perfect. Our experience with Marcia & Reverend Paul couldn't have been better; professional, accessible & kind. The blue historic markers tell the stories of the people and places that were important to Florida's history and they can be found in front of schools, roads, archaeological sites, battlefields, cemeteries, historic buildings, and churches like this one. Historic marker F-1162 was installed in front of the Altamonte Chapel in 2021 by the Altamonte Chapel 2021 Board of Directors and the Florida Department of State. The Altamonte Chapel is a Florida Heritage site. The church was built in 1885 by settlers from New England. It was originally located near Lake Brantley and known as the Lake Brantley Union Church. A freeze in 1895 led to the area citrus crop being destroyed. The settlers were forced to leave the area and the church leading to it being transferred to Rollins College along with 2 acres of land in exchange for college tuition. In 1906 the church was purchased for $600 by Maxwell McIntyre a wealthy New Englander. He had the church dismantled and moved to its current location in Altamonte by wagon. By 1955 the church was once again holding services, weddings, baptisms, funerals, and other church events. This beautiful church is an example of the type of Carpenter Gothic style architecture you would see in New England. It was designed by a Boston architect, Josiah Clouse who also built other Central Florida landmarks. Standout features of the wooden structure include its stained glass windows and chapel bell. Sunday service is held weekly at 9:00 AM. As a fan of both architecture and historic churches, this beauty was a real thrill to find.

No matter the cause the results were disgusting and dangerous to the health of our guests. The only assistance was to spray during the ceremony and it was not effective. The WEDDING CAKE COULD NOT be displayed, the bar was covered with nearly 100 flies at all times, chinaware and silverware could not be placed as the filthy flies that land on cow poop were on every table the entire evening. Not to mention there was not even a fan in the kitchen to force the flies out of where the FOOD was being plated. My advice is DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE without fly swatters as wedding favors!

I found all of those qualities here at the Woman's Club. The staff was also very friendly throughout the entire process. According to the club's website, "founded in 1915, the Woman's Club of Winter Park is one of the oldest not-for-profit community organizations in Winter Park, Florida." In addition to the meetings held here, the building is available for rent for events including weddings. The have spaces available for all parts of your wedding. You can have one part of the event or all at the club. They have ceremony space, reception space, and cocktail hour space if you are willing to host part of the event outdoors. We used the club just for our ceremony and it was so perfect. We had about 80 guests seated which took up about 2/3 of the room. I think they can do up to around 150 seated. There are beautiful mantels on either end of the main room which we used for our event. It was so beautiful and intimate. We loved the historic touches which had also been recently renovated before our event. At the end of our wedding, our guests were directed to the lawn. We then exited down the sidewalk aisle into our getaway car. A wonderful photo opp! Easy to work with, they have a very fair price. Ceremony alone here cost us less than $1,000! Try finding that anywhere else in the heart of Winter Park. Or anywhere. I am so happy to have found this location. Many other florists either wanted me to scale down my vision or increase my budget. I NEVER had to do that with Linens & Flowers Design. It is clear they are true professionals in this field and evident why they have some of the highest ratings on every wedding website! Leading up to the wedding day, there was consistent and clear communication that made me feel at ease and completely confident in my florist! On the wedding day, they went absolutely over and beyond. They were the MOST stunning bouquets, arrangements, etc. I had ever seen. The team showed up early & stayed - ensuring everything was perfect! The day of my wedding, bad storms were rolling through the area, the team set up all the floral arrangements and made the decision to take them down prior to the ceremony so nothing got messed up. Before guests arrived, they placed all the arrangements back in their places & they looked beautiful and completely untouched by the storms. That was something I did not even know happened until after the wedding because they made it all so so so seamless and perfect. They even made a social media reel which is so fun to watch and relive the day. After the wedding, they have checked in with me ensuring everything was perfect. The long story short is we would recommend them to anyone and everyone. There is not a single comment I have for improvement, they were perfect. Every person you interact with will be incredible, from Marilu, Rocio, Jesi and others are professional, very kind, and extremely talented. They work around budgets, and are very considerate of the wants of the couple. The planning and preparation phase was made easy by Marilu, and she is extremely knowledgeable on design and was helpful to guide us when we did not have a preference. Rocio and Jesi handled the day of operations, and they were completely autonomous. My wife and I did not have to be involved at all, and the ceremony and reception were beautiful beyond our expectations. Our wedding planner speaks highly of Linens and Flowers, as they have worked together before, and now we know why. They are a mix of professionals that feel like talking to family. Through the meetings with them, you see all the awards they have won, and they deserve every single one. We chose their elopement and catering package for 20 guests and had our wedding on a Thursday, which was perfect for the intimate experience we wanted. Christina and Jeremy are wonderful hosts, and their daughter Ruby is the sweetest. They make you feel so welcome and truly care about the couples who get married there. The venue itself is beyond words; magical, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful forest and nature. Honestly, you don't need to do much decorating because the venue itself brings the magic to life. My husband and I are both from up north, so being surrounded by the pine trees made the day feel even more meaningful and nostalgic for us. We loved the different package options they offered. When we booked about a year ago, they didn't yet have the all-inclusive package, but knowing how attentive and thoughtful they are, I would absolutely recommend it because I'm sure they go above and beyond with every detail. On the day of our wedding, Jeremy was already ahead of everything, even monitoring the weather for us. He let us know there was a chance of rain and walked us through options just in case.
