When I was in the 7th grade I'd stay up late at night and try my best to make a mix tape with all your love songs. In school we'd make dance routines to all your DJ Laz booty beats. My friends and I would find ourselves swearing that when we got older we would go to every party, concert and summer beach-house party you had. But sadly those days are gone. Every blue moon you'll surprise me and play a throwback song. Something they'll make me feel like I'm back in the good ole '90s when everything in the world was calm. If I turn you on now I know that most likely I'll hear the same song within the hour. Why must you play out songs??? Do we really need to hear Boom Boom Pow 4 times in an hour. Is Pitbull the only artist alive ? You once had a great mix of House and electronic but now all we get is a mash-up of Britney Spears "circus" and bob Sinclair " World hold on " What's a girl to do? I mean y100 is at least honest about their Mostly Pop genre I think it's time to come out the closet 96.5. Don't claim to be Miami's top Radio station if your going to play the same 39 sings you do every hour. The only thing that truly keeps me happy with this station is the Christmas song they play " Mi Barrito" god that song will never get old.

All you'll hear is 411-PAIN ads and that god awful Lucy Lopez screaming to you about whatever business has paid to be featured that week. Seriously, what does it say about us South Floridians if all our commercials are about accidents, slips and falls? We need to wake up and make a change.

So glad there's an alternative rock station in South Florida! The Shark plays a really good…read moremusical mix of popular alternative artists/songs and they also showcase many new artists. All of the djs are articulate as well as entertaining, and I like the morning show, "The Big Mistake," because they have a good amount of talk, humor, and music. (It seems that many of the other local morning shows are mostly talk with little, or no, music.) The Shark was also the main sponsor of The Riptide Musical Festival in early December. It was an incredible event with several stages, great activities, bars, and food....right on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Riptide's lineup was amazing: Panic at the Disco, 311, Live, Third Eye Blind, Collective Soul, Everclear, Sublime with Rome; and then there were many new artists: Blue October, Robert Delong, Alice Merton, and more. It seems they are always promoting some concert or another and I hope they will be around for a long time! They fill a much needed space in the air waves of South Florida.
