A Too Good Too Go Portion from a surprise bag
    Keyonda A.

I found this location through my app Too Good Too Go. Decided to give them a try. The portions are quite small so if you really like BBQ, purchase 2-3 surprise bags. The BBQ is very tender. So tender that you may have to watch not to eat the bones. The potato salad is awesome as well. My husband said the greens are good as well. My only complaint would be the ribs are a bit salty. I thought it was the sauce. The sauce alone is perfect but the seasoning of the meat is salty. The service was very attentive and outgoing. The dining area was wide enough to enjoy a meal with a little privacy at the table. Parking may be a hassle if it's busy but with the location being near the neighborhood, you can always park on a neighboring street.

The food here is amazing! My GF and I were in Long Beach for the weekend and were craving BBQ. We decided to stop here based on Yelp reviews and we are so glad that we did! Our favorite was the bbq ribs but everything was absolutely top notch. The Mac and cheese had the perfect seasoning and nice layers of chewy cheese inside. The cornbread was sweet and crumbly. Their bbq sauce had a super interesting flavor that added depth to every dish. Overall, this spot is some of the best bbq I have had in SoCal.

Walked over to Wrigley BBQ & Grill to check it out. Today's daily special was a sandwich and side for $15 so I thought I'd give that try! I chose the BBQ Brisket and Mac & Cheese. They sure load the sandwich with meat and it was pretty tender and tasty! The Mac and Cheese was had some nice crust and was delicious. The inside has a few tables and chairs to sit in but I chose to get my order to go. Very casual interior and chill vibe. I'd love to try their bread pudding but they were out unfortunately. They also had a photo of their fried chicken and it looks bomb but you can't order it a la carte you have to get it as a plate with sides. Pretty good first impression on food quality and when I'm craving more BBQ I'll walk back! Small business owned as well so happy to support!

That was delicious! We ordered dinner here, trying to give a leg up to small Black business. Bravo! This was a DELICIOUS choice! Ribs, rib tips, brisket, man and cheese, BBQ beans, peach cobbler. Ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. Sauce was sweet-spicy. Mac and cheese was good peppery. Beans were eh. Worth ordering here again.

Top bbq place in Long Beach for me. All the food I have tried here is great, meat is tender and perfectly cooked and seasoned. BBQ beans delicious, and all other sides I have had. Inside of the restaurant is straight to the point, some tables and chairs and all decor for LA teams: Rams, Dodgers, and Lakers; that is how you know it's going to be good BBQ. I wish their hours were expanded, but it is definitely worth finding the time to come try it.

Side of yams but I ordered cabbage.

Not worth it. Fried chicken was meh. The sides were served in sauce containers. My order was wrong. I ordered fried cabbage and dirty rice, they gave me yams and baked beans.

This is my meal Ribs, Rib Tip Tips, greens and Mac and cheese. The pull pork sandwich that I mentioned was from a previous visit

Customer service was good the young lady was very nice and very helpful, however the ribs and rib tips were under cooked which made them a little too hard to get off the bone. The rib size was good but the rib tips were normal size tips cut in half. The barbecue sauce was cool. But over all just ok and a little over priced for me. The greens were so so but I did enjoy the Mac and Cheese.

Catfish dinner (with Candied Yams & Collard Greens - thank GOD HE gave me amazing teeth almost chipped it on that bone, SMH)

The restaurant has a very casual, laid-back atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor patio. It had plenty of shade, which made it comfortable even during the warmer part of the day, and it added to the overall vibe. For the food, the mac and cheese was definitely a highlight. It was creamy, flavorful, and had a nice homemade taste that paired well with everything else on the plate. I also ordered the catfish, which was cooked well and had a nice texture. The only thing that kept it from being perfect was that it was seasoned a little heavier than I personally prefer. There was one particular seasoning that I couldn't quite identify, but it was a bit overpowering at first. Thankfully, adding a squeeze of lemon and using the tartar sauce really balanced the flavors and made it much more enjoyable. The mashed potatoes were good, although they reminded me of upgraded instant mashed potatoes. They were very garlicky, which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you're a garlic lover. I even wondered if that same bold garlic flavor was part of the seasoning on the catfish since the flavors seemed similar. Overall, I had a good meal and enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, the patio was a great place to sit, and the food was satisfying despite a couple of small flavor preferences. I'd definitely come back to try some of the other menu items and would recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for a casual spot with good comfort food.

We also got chicken wings lemon pepper and spicy. The lemon pepper were not overly Tangy with lemon and had a nice pepper spice on them. The spicy were good as well. The wings were cooked nice and I preferably don't like them fried hard so they were on point. My wife got the Sea bass and garlic rice , cabbage and jambalaya. The sea bass and sauce was tasty. We thought the sauce could have been a little thicker and the garlic rice bolstered the flavor. The Cabbage had good flavor but we thought it was chopped a bit too fine. And the jambalaya had a lot of flavor but we like our jambalaya and dry. I'm not familiar with Saucy jambalaya like that. I got the pork chops. Delicious with one exception. I should have had them cook my medium rare or medium. The gravy was tasty. My greens had great flavor except I thought they could have been chopped down a bit more. And the beans and rice were good as well. Almost forgot about the cornbread muffins. Good to go. That is fine as some in texture but great flavor. We went on the 4th of July so parking was easy for us . I'm in a wheelchair so accessibility was easy as there was not that many patrons. The server was really nice to us as she was able to start us off with drinks without us having to go to the counter and pay initially. Great place to spend my dollars on the 4th!

They coated the chicken in a chili rub that gave it a sweet and spicy flavor when paired with their maple syrup. Served on top of a waffle and topped with an egg. I loved it and would probably order again on my next visit. My wife had the American plate which was your classic eggs, bacon, potatoes, and sourdough toast combo. High quality ingredients elevated it beyond your typical diner food. Drinks were great too. I had their house made bloody mary which had a nice kick to it. It's about how management handled it. We made a reservation three days in advance to watch the Mexico World Cup match. We arrived 10 min early to our reservation in anticipation of the crowds. We received confirmation by both email and text, but when we arrived, we were told there was no reservation and "nothing they could do." Despite showing proof of our confirmed reservation, they refused to honor it and told us there were no tables available. Seconds later, another group walked up and asked to join the waitlist, and he gladly added them. I then asked why we couldn't be added--considering we had a confirmed reservation--and only then did he put us on the list. When a restaurant makes a mistake, the bare minimum is trying to make it right. We should have been given priority on the waitlist. Instead, after nearly two hours of waiting, we were still ninth in line even though the wait time for our table size showed 0 minutes. We left without ever being seated. Thankfully before the match began, we walked over to Broken Spirits (5 min walk away) where they seated us within 15 minutes and even gave us complimentary drinks to celebrate the game. The difference in hospitality was incredible. This wasn't my first disappointing experience here, either. On a previous visit, I waited outside to be seated for so long that I eventually gave up and seated myself at the bar. To make matters worse, the food and drinks don't justify the price. Cocktails are around $20, filled with ice, and underwhelming. As a customer, I left Ordinarie feeling dismissed and disrespected. Between the poor service, overpriced menu, and management's complete lack of accountability, I won't be returning. If you're in the DTLB area, I would recommend better drinks/better service at Broken Spirits or Midnight Oil :)

Our group of four had a chance to stop by for an early dine-in dinner, and found the chicken to well prepared and tasty. Originally founded in 1976 in Los Angeles by a enterprising franchisee who wanted to create his own fast food brand, Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken soon became very popular with LA residents. As sometimes happens with immigrant communities by word of mouth and 'paying it forward', the burgeoning Cambodians began to be the majority owners of franchisees, until it resulted in the brand being sold to a Cambodian in 2009. Considering the largest concentration of Cambodians outside of Cambodia is in Long Beach, California, I wanted to try this particular location. They also sell donuts here, and my credit card bill actually listed the donut shop as the vendor...this for me is not a selling point, but was not noticeable during our visit. It's a walk-up set-up, where you order/pay for your food through security windows. We ordered a 12-piece family combo for $35.45, which included 3 pieces of breast/thigh/wing/leg, 2 small orders of fries, a coleslaw and 6 rolls. They also sell fried catfish and shrimp, so got a 4 pc shrimp ($3.85). They only sell drinks by cans or bottles, so got 4 cans of Coke/Pepsi/Squirt. It is clearly stated that each order is fried fresh, taking about 20 minutes. Our order was ready in 15 minutes, and we decided to dine-in (a small makeshift outdoor dining area with temporary tables was set-up). The chicken was well brined and had been fried well (leaving plenty of space between the chicken), with the outer coat being crunchy with a little bit of spice. For me it tasted very similar to the popular national chain, but with more consistency. The 'small' fries were not that at all, but very large...with one being enough to feed the four of us. The fries looked underdone, but were not. There were no condiments available, so the saving grace was the thin hot sauce that you could dip your fries and chicken into. The rolls were forgettable, and the coleslaw was grocery store quality (which I actually like). In fact, the chicken and sides reminded me of what you could get at a grocery store deli, except always getting the chicken fresh, instead of ones that have been fried too many to a basket and sitting too long under a heat lamp. Freshness definitely matters here. There was plenty of food for the 4 of us, with us taking half of the meal home. It reheated very well, providing us a good lunch the following day.
