They were quick to serve despite the fact that we entered when it was fairly busy. For £2.50, crispy fried masala fish was flavoured with Bombay and Kashmiri spices. The generous shredded side salad consisted of cool tomato slices, lettuce and cabbage and the choice of condiment sauces was a bonus. This meal was a stomach filler! I don't often eat masala fish, but this was a definite winner. Especially with ice cold sweet mango juice to follow.

On the way back from watching a mate play football in Yeadon, we stopped off at this professional looking takeaway - well, I say professional... it was clean. We were greeted with a smile and some friendly chat, before quickly being presented with our order, which was pretty impressive considering that four of us ordered main dishes at the same time. We munched on some nice light prawn crackers while we waited, which costs us the princely sum of £1, before eating our massive dishes in the car. I had sweet and sour pork for a change on this occasion, and I found that it was somewhere between good and average. But that's probably because I'm not a massive Chinese pork fan.

However my dear old mum decided to take that recommendation & run with it... all the way to the phone to place a delivery order. My veggie udon noodles were some of the best I've tasted this side of the Atlantic. A great amount of food for the relatively low price. The spring rolls were looking a bit strange. They were the size of large steak fries. First time I've ever seen spring rolls so small. But they were tasty. My mum is not a person why likes exotic foods. She thinks parsley is as hot as a California Reaper. So she went with prawn toast, breaded king prawns and... chips All good but I won't go on another rant about who the hell orders chips from a Chinese place... my vein has just gone down & I don't have my blood pressure meds on me. It is obvious as soon as you walk in that this isn't what a kebab shop looks like. It's clean and airy with a large counter displaying a variety of salad items. The staff were a cut above as well. Unfortunately as well as upping the standards they have also upped the price with the result that I paid more for a standard kebab here, out of town than I would in the city. They serve an impressive array of kebabs here and I will certainly be treating myself again in the near future. I put the disorganized nature of the service down to the newness of the venture.

After a bit of shopping at the snazzy new Broadway shopping centre across the road we stopped in for some sustenance and I was not disappointed. Authentic Italian pizza at an affordable price right in the heart of the centre. We got a full pizza which was more than enough for 3 people, we had 2 slices left over. We got half and half, half margarita and half tuna and sweet corn. I definitely preferred the margarita. The place itself is very spacious with plenty of indoor seating. The interior looks a little run down but it actually adds to the ambiance of the place and I really liked the overall feel. You can buy by the slice too which is convenient. I'll be back.
