It had sliced hard boiled eggs, sprouts and some sort of mayonnaise/mustard spread on it. Though served cold, it was still good and the roll was firm yet soft and chewy. The sandwiches appear to all be made on site, since there was an employee assembling new sandwiches as they were depleted from the counter display. The usual coffee drinks were on offer here. I went for a cappuccino, which was good. Not too foamy, but good. One size only for the coffees.

Let me tell you! 1. The menu: I think I understand 1/3rd of it. Not because my German is that bad, it's because I don't speak Turkish and let me tell you. If the menu is in the "native" language of that business, me thinks it's a good sign. 2. The customers: All. Turkish. People. And I bet they know where to go for their Heimat cuisine. 3. And Yes Mr./Madam App. That Turkish Mocha was shining in my face that morning, dark and strong. It's early and in the morning a strong Joe or it's derivative is what I want. I liked Simit Sarayi the second I stepped in the door based on the decor of light wood and bright yet faded lighting. When I saw all the shiny/light brown pastries and deserts the part of my brain that knows flaky /chewy/baked goods is coming kicked in and started creating a tiny bit of a salivating and a slight involuntary grin out of my morning dullness. Now to choose, especially since these flat circle sandwiches with cheese inside just came out or one that was already sitting there. And the Schokolade brownies also looked good. I chose by appearance in texture and got a Pogaca (Hackfleisch). I think I liked the Pogaca a little more than I liked the Turkish Mocha, maybe I am too used to American/Columbian style coffee. The Turkish Mocha was a bit sour. It was bold but not as strong as in appearance or assumption. No milk, no sugar is the way I go sometimes and this is one of those cases. It came in a little cup: cappuccino style and the bottom half was the left over sand from the grind, not edible. Good in flavor and aroma (medium) but it's like a shot of sour, semi-bold, semi-hot, shot of wake-up. The Pogaca was soft but not too soft as in cake like softness, a lightly dense, chewy, a tad of airiness and seems like the right amount of butter incorporated in. They also offer a full café menu, making it a great place to relax and spend some quiet time. Seating is limited but comfortable: four tables that seat four people each, plus around six counter seats. English is spoken, and credit cards are accepted, which is always convenient. I highly recommend the apple and walnut cinnamon roll -- it's generously filled all the way through and absolutely delicious. However, one receipt has boggled my mind for a couple of days. This receipt did not list the business name. My flight had landed in Frankfurt at 6:30 am. I had my luggage and was hungry. I saw a sandwich place in the arrivals area. The woman talked to me and recommended a meatball sandwich called broe frikadelle. I bought it, sat down, and ate it while watching the news on a screen. This sandwich was tasty! Everything was fresh and flavourful. I normally don't comment on bread, but it was so delicious. The problem? To this day, I had no idea what this place was called until I did some digging. I went to the FRA airport site and downloaded the arrivals map. I am thankful that I have a decent memory. I was sitting in the O2 area. I looked at the closest eatery and found Kamps Bakery. That's it! Sure enough, the blue and white-coloured wrapper in my photo matched a posted photo from a fellow Yelper. The mystery has been solved! I wish I had a Kamps Bakery close by.
