We ordered takeout from Wy Mongolian Grill a couple of nights ago and it was delicious! We've driven past it quite a few times and had heard great things about it so we decided to finally try it. I ordered the Chicken Stir Fry and my husband ordered the Beef Stir Fry. I love that they have brown rice as an option for the base! The chicken and veggies in my bowl were cooked nicely and were abundant! The brown rice was a little greasy but the meat and veg were not. I got the Hibachi sauce and it was tasty! We also ordered one order of steamed gyoza and one order of fried gyoza. The fried ones were deep fried which was a surprise because the picture on the menu looked as though they were pan fried. I really enjoyed the steamed one! We will definitely order again! They have a huge menu and I'm excited to add some sushi to our next round!

Went today & was going to order an unlimited bowl, but the very sweet server showed me a pic on how to pile my bowl & convinced me I only needed 1 trip. She was right! The options were fresh & plentiful. I loved every bite!

Located by the Walmart in Lewis Center, Wy Mongolian has a wide selection of authentic Chinese and Japanese food; create-your-own stir fry and an all-you-can-eat buffet where you select the base for your bowl, like noodles or rice, and choose from a variety of protein, vegetables and sauces. I also love the fact that they have a large selection of delicious sushi. I've been here a couple times since this place opened and keep trying different dishes and so far I have loved everything I have tried here. Definitely check this place out. They have a large selection of items and at a good prices.

First time trying out this place. The place was clean with very friendly staffs. They have plenty of options on fresh vegetables and proteins. We went with build our own bowl and we ordered the Crab Rangoon and Sushi. With the build your own bowl, you pick the type of rice you want (White, Brown, or Stir Fry) and take the bowl that they give you and pick your vegetables, protein, and sauces and give it to them to cook. You can stand there and watch them stir fry your food. I didn't care about the Crab Rangoon, but the Sushi was great. The bowl was good, but I picked the baby corn with other vegetable and the corn was not fresh at all. But everything else was great. Overall, it was good. If you are in the Lewis Center area, do check this place out.

If you're up in Lewis Center you have got to try WY Mongolian! Like honestly I was blown away at how good the stir fry was. IMO it's better than BD! Sushi was amazing and the Tuna Roll was my favorite! I ordered, Crab Rangoon, Super Tuna Roll, King Kong Roll, Steak and Shrimp Stir Fry (see pictures).

Wow! I was really impressed with WY Mongolian Grill. It was delicious and fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they did a great job explaining the menu to us since it was our first time. We decided to do the build your own option. The buffet was very very clean! You start by getting your tray and using hand sanitizer. As you go down the line a staff member is very attentive to the stations exchanging the tongs as needed. There was a nice selections of veggies, seafood and meats. At the end there is a seasoning selection as well as several sauces to choose from. Once satisfied you pass the tray to the staff working the grills and once it's done your server will bring it to you. I really wasn't expecting such a huge portion but it was more than enough, I was barely able to finish my bowl. Everything was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. Pro tip: get your rice on the side I think the pricing is very reasonable, $14.99 for dinner and if you want all you can eat it is a $4 up charge (but honestly we thought one bowl was enough, the food doesn't shrink down like other places). I have to say this far surpasses the other Mongolian bbq spots around town based on flavors, freshness, and cleanliness. I'll definitely be back.

I stopped in again just to make sure my first review was accurate... This time l got a surprise - during the month of August 24 there is fantastic special going on...it's worth stopping in and asking l don't want to give it away...make the trip by yourself or with a group. The food doesn't disappoint. If you are afraid of what your combination would taste like...just ask and they will guide you to the correct sauces and spices for your dish. Excellent service.

We really liked this place! You can order from the menu like at any Chinese/Asian restaurant or you can go up to the buffet and choose your veggies, protein and sauces. Then the chefs cook it all for you and it is brought to your table. We found the veggies and proteins to be very fresh and tasty when cooked together with the sauces we selected. I'd love a little more guidance on the sauces - I tried to choose based on the descriptions but mine ended up a bit too sweet. If you're up for a choose-your-own adventure type meal, this is a lot of fun!

When my first lunch plans fell through, I realize this was nearby. And open. It only opened two weeks ago. The place used to be a Chinese buffet. It has been completely redone. Very nice and slick and cozy inside, though pretty large. Service was very good. It's pretty much like other Mongolian grill places. You pick the items, and then give it to the cook, and the waiter will bring the bowl to your table. You can do one bowl or all you can eat. Pricing is about the same as other places. The ingredients seemed a little fresher than, for example, BD's. There is an assortment of sauces, not as many as at BD's. And of course, various vegetables and starches and proteins. Again, not quite as many as BD's. Plus, there was no fresh garlic that I saw. Garlic powder and lots of other seasoning powders. Bowls came out very well. One was not quite enough for me, two was a little too much. I arrived hungry. It was not very busy at noon on a weekday. I would definitely come back.

Think of this place as an elevated version of BD with better ingredients and service. The bowls are very filling, and the sushi and appetizers (a la carte), while, good, is quite unnecessary for a filling dinner. I also liked that they have unlimited yum yum sauce to complement the hibachi bowls.

Came for late lunch. Plenty of seating and clean interior, tables and seating. Same as most Mongolian restaurants. Take a bowl load up on veg and meats, add the sauce and drop Off at the counter to be cooked. You have to fill out a card to select the side. Once cooked they bring the food to your table. Enjoyed the meal and will be returning again. Great price also! Staff is very good and they check in on you from time to time.

My own bowl creation with fried rice on the side

We created our own bowls at the buffet and it was spotless. I mean, impeccably clean. All of the ingredients looked super fresh. My bowl tasted really good. Unfortunately the flavor of the sauce I chose was a little diluted by the amount of oil that was apparently used in the cooking. But that's a small nit to pick. I will definitely go back to try other buffet offerings!

This place should be blowing up soon! Super clean, fresh ingredients. They have so many menu options too! I chose to build my own bowl and also have a few sushi rolls as well. The presentation is pretty impressive. Staff was super friendly and food came out quick!

It's whatever you make it to be. You pick what you want in the bowl and they cook it. Been there several times. Always great.

By far one of my favorite new restaurants, The Blue Sushi really exceeded my expectations,…read moreespecially since my expectations of sushi restaurants in Midwestern states are usually tempered. From the parking lot, The Blue Sushi does not look like much, but once you step inside, the décor is refined and elegant. We were seated immediately, and our server David was excellent with his recommendations and patience as we looked through the menu. We ended up ordering the Crispy Tuna roll, the Angry Lobster roll, the American Dream roll, and a steak Hibachi. The Hibachi comes with a side of salad and fried rice and was delicious. All the rolls were beautifully made and plated, and they tasted even better. We left full and satisfied and we will be back soon!

Now my life has changed, and I can take advantage of lunch at these places. Completely empty at noon on a weekday, a little disturbing. But, better than not being able to get in. Classy inside, nice seating options, quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Excellent service throughout. Large sushi menu, plus hot entrees, many apps, etc. A lot I wanted to try. But I had to start with the crab Rangoon tarts. Never seen it this way. Three fairly small tartlets, nice crust, with a dollop of "Rangoon" filling. Could have used more in each tart, but tasty enough. The sauce is a little zippier than most for crab Rangoon. Good, different, not amazing. And that pretty much describes the rest of the meal. Were my expectations too high? Nothing was bad, everything was pretty good, but not amazing. I had the Red Scorpion roll next. Mid-sized, a nice roll of kani, tuna, avocado, and more, topped with several sauces. Barely fit each piece in my mouth. Tasty, but again not amazing. Not what I expected from a place like this with reviews this high. A little heat, far from the spicy suggested by the name and reviews. Also had unagi and toro nigiri. Again, good, not great. Neither was as tender as I'd hoped, though decent all in all. Flavors were good on the unagi, and the toro was somewhat buttery/creamy but not on par with others I've had. Hmph. Cost was not bad, considering the decor of the place and that it's sushi. I left full but not overstuffed. I'd come back, maybe for a date night. But it's not incredible, and I guess I fell for the buzz.

Expensive? Yes. Incredible? Also yes…read more The sushi here was incredible. Given that it's technically in a strip mall, my expectations weren't very high but I was quickly transported and impressed. I've been to quite a few Omakase dinners that left more to be desired and this was not the case here. The dinner here was on par with some I've had in NYC. We opted to add on the premium course which I would recommend highly. The wagyu was absolutely incredible. The courses were timed well and I felt extremely satisfied. One thing to note is that they do not sell wine by the glass. You'll want to order a bottle or do the pairing. We did not do the pairing since my husband had to drive, but coming back I would definitely add that. For the premium omakase, a bottle of wine, and one additional piece of nigiri each, our dinner for two ran around $440 before tip.
