I have only bought a couple of items from the garden centre part but visit the craft shop regularly. It is always well stocked, has a great variety of items and the staff are fairly pleasant. The store stocks a wide variety of gardening equipment and the other side of the store has a massive range of arts and crafts products. In addition to this the store boasts a large recently refurbished cafe which seems to be proving very popular. I love the arts and crafts section, It has a huge variety of canvas, papers, card, beads, paints, stamps, material, wool and everything you could possbily need for anything to do with craft and making it yourself. Prices I find are a little above average however for the convienence of being able to get it all in one place thats a price I am happy to pay.

There ane not many indoor plants for sale compared to the bigger garden centres such as Wyevale. They also have an aquarium and pond store inside with a good selection of tropical and marine fish. Whenever i have bought fish from here they have always had excellent health and is extremely rare to see any dead fish in the tanks. Service is good with staff always ready to give advice and order a product if they don't have it in stock.

They also sell duck food - which is always a hit with the kids (there is a large pond attached to the garden centre with quite a lot of ducks and other fowl) I think it is a family run concern and the staff do seem knowledgeable about their products. They stock a good range of cat and dog foods but recently stopped our rabbits brand which is Delta and sold us something which was supposed to be the equivalent but the rabbit would not touch it. I know get this from the Countrywide store in Carmarthen. I do find that customer service does not seem to be a priority as you can sometimes feel you are intruding when asking the staff about a particular query.

The first aisle you go up is full of brand name toiletries as well as the wilkinson brand , they also sell toilet rolls ,kitchen rolls , kitchenwares , picture frames , lighting , books , toys ,pet food and lots of othe things. It is a nice well lit shop that is well set up with lots of space in the aisles to be able to browse. If a queue does form at the checkout , they always try and open at least 1 more till so that you are not kept waiting. Have a look around the shop you will find a lot of bargains.
