This is one of my favourite places to meet my mum and sister for a coffee and a chat. As the other reviews have stated, there is a big cafe inside, with a wide selection of food and drink on the menu. There's something for everyone, ranging from a snack to a full roast dinner. I'm usually tempted by one of their gorgeous cakes (there goes the diet again!), and their latte coffees are lush. Once you'd filled up, you can look around the rest of the shop. It's changed a lot over the years. It used to be predominantly a garden centre, but now it seems that a large part of the store is taken over by gifts. There's a wide selection of unusual gifts and at this time of year, their range of Christmas decorations is second to none. A bit on the expensive side, but worth it in my opinion. read more

I am not really a garden person, but I seem to be pulled into Wyevale often. Im not sure why. I do enjoy having a look round there at christmas time as they have a great selection of christmas trees and decorations. But if im honest the best thing about Wyevale in Swansea is their cafe. I really love their food, It is very clean and spacious for buggies. I sometimes go in have food and come straight out again. read more

This is the biggest garden centre I know of and its prices are not too dear either. They also have quite a nice range of fish there for people with aquariums. There is an indoor section and an outdoor section for plants, also there are pictures and books for sale if that is of interest to you. It's location if out of the way of the city centre and is quite hard to get to by bus, especially if you want to buy a big plant for example. The cafe there is nice and not too expensive and you can spend an enjoyable afternoon there. read more

One of the better garden centres in the city , Wyvale over the years has gone under massive redevelopment and has improved services including his cafe and product ranges. Senior citizens do get a discount which is invaluable and can really help. Trolleys are hard to come by and are often to cumbersome to push around an area that needs seriously addressing. The prices are very competitive and offer real value for money including some good deals on summer plants. Staff are always on hand and very very friendly and often help us take our goods to the car which is much appreciated as is the knowledge the staff have on the various plants and as a novice gardener it can be sometimes hard to find the plants you need but the staff always direct you into the right direction. read more

Wyevale is a big garden centre , the first thing you will notice as you drive through the gates is a very big carpark. Inside you will find a cafe , I like their pots of tea and scones. You will find lots of things in this garden centre such as compost , plant feed , indoor plants , bonsai trees , garden ornaments. Also they sell a wide range of garden plants and trees , I really like the roses. You will also find BBQ`s and garden furniture , though now with the run up to christmas you will not find lots of christmas stuff such as trees and tinsel. They sell some lovely fresh christmas trees though I haven`t seen any yet this year. Prices are quite reasonable and I sometimes find them cheaper than B&Q. read more

Wyevale is a great garden centre to visit and get a huge choice of everything to do with gardening and outdoor living, BUT also tends to be rather expensive! They do have a great cafe which often has tea and cake offers plus comfortable surroundings. Reduced plants and sale items can be well worthwhile and on my last visit I was lucky enough to get a lovely half price orchid which is still flowering, 2 months later and a miniature little orange tree. They also guarantee plants and when I had a sickly rose they refunded from my plastic pot evidence without any problem. Staff aren't always knowledgeable but try to be as helpful as possible. read more

I used to love going to the Swansea store for both the plants and gifts, the plants are as good as ever but not a great selection of gifts, when I asked where the gifts were I was shown to a display of old fashoned floral kitchen ware - NO GIFTS!! I was told there was a new buyer!! If this is their idea of good merchandise I hate to think what the christmas stock will be like. read more
