It's a really nice hotel. Located in the heart of Old Town next to the Main Square, it's a perfect place to stay when visiting Wrocław.
I reserved a Premium King Bed room using Expedia, and especially asked for the one with a view of the Gothic St. Elizabeth Church. From the moment of check in, we had an outstanding time.
Everything about our room was great. The setting (oh! the view!), the cleanliness, two options for coffee, even the TV had the most channels and international radio stations I can remember of any hotel I've visited. The reception was crisp and clear as well.
Beds?! The pillows, the sheets were first class, and the mattresses were extremely comfortable. I was mad at myself for falling asleep like a baby before my favorite show even ended. When the great church bells rang out around six thirty in the morning, I slept like a rock, hearing nothing. I only knew about it because my companion mentioned how loud it sounded. That's why the two pairs of earplugs were laying handy on the side table :). I believe that almost twenty thousand steps during the day also helped with a good sleep :).
In general, the room was very quiet.
During the week, the breakfast buffet is served from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. On Saturdays and Sundays, it is served an hour longer, and guests can enjoy delicious food until 11:00 a.m.
I particularly enjoyed croissants with fresh made butter and preserves, the mushroom omelette, vegetable pate and the pear, walnut, goat cheese salad. Oh! Also, the green juice was so tasty and refreshing.
The choice of food was abundant, really. I'm sure there is something for everyone. read more
