Sweetie's cousin passed away, and they had the service here. Now, I'm not religious (Sweetie is a bit) but I've been to church. A lot. This isn't big, isn't fancy, but the building is nice enough on the outside and the interior is great. Not extravagant, but just right. And everyone here was wonderful. The pastor talked to us and the rest of the family, and put together a very appropriate service. His assistants were also caring and helpful, and the group of teen singers were spot on. As a church, hey, it depends on what you're into. But as a place for a service, this was just right. We felt welcomed and loved, and they dealt with a big family at a bad time in a way that felt like they were family too.

The church is come as you are and service starts at 10:15am. Sunday school is at 9am. They have bible study every Wednesday. The plaster Rev. Combest is a sweet man. Now he is a police officer (sheriff) but he knows his bible!!! I love coming here there is always something going on! The word is always a good word. The church is well taken care of and very clean. Just recently they had a MLK breakfast and it was very good.

Was invited here by friends of mine who live in the South Bloomfield area. During my first visit I was overwhelmed and astounded by everyone who went out of their way to introduce themselves and welcome me! I will look forward to attending every week now and there are also organizations sponsored by the church that I will look into getting involved with as time permits. Only docked one star bc it's a little far from my residence outside Hillard, so if you live closer, this church will easily be a 5 star rating!

Pastor Greg delivers a wonderful sermon full of truth and encouragement. With love, I only wish the Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist were approached more deeply. It is not just symbolic, but the true Body and Blood of Christ as given in Scripture. The way it is shared feels too casual, and I long for the depth and reverence of this sacred gift. Still, the love of Jesus is present here, and the heart and intent are genuine. I will continue coming back for worship and fellowship, while also attending my other churches where I can fully receive the Body and Blood of Christ.
