I recently was checking pest control services in the area and all of my neighbor's used xteam. I have seen many trucks in my area and had no idea which one to go with. The technician who came out I couldn't remember his name but was very courteous and showed up when they said they would. I was expecting to be sold a lot of things I didn't need and surprisingly the technician told me that I didn't need a humidifier and other things that Terminix told me I needed. The price was great and exactly what I needed with no pressure. I am so accustomed to salespeople trying to sell stuff I don't need and was very pleased with xteam. I can see why all my neighbor's use them. My home has been bug free. I would recommend them to friends and family. I've had a termite contract with X-Team for more than 15 years. When I realized this week that I haven't gotten a bill or heard from them lately about an inspection, I phoned the office to inquire when is the last time my house was inspected. It was 3 YEARS ago! The telephone receptionist had no explanation, did not offer to let me speak to a manager, stated that a "technician" would return my call, and hung up on me. Nobody returned the call. I'm very disappointed, because I was quite impressed with their service in the early years and found their service technicians competent. No more! read more

The Tech came and sprayed on a day that was rainy... He said if a problem to call and he would come back... Called 4 times, 3 times talked with office and was told our tech would return call that same day... Did not happen... The 4th call I left a voice mail if the tech did not get back with us I was going to look for another company and write a review... After being loyal customer's for over 10 years...we received a call back that they will not come back out and re-spray outside... WOW! so I guess you just do not believe what an employee of X-Team. Awful. I had made an appointment with them to come out to my rental property and inspect. They were supposed to be out there the last week of April. I called them in mid-May since I hadn't heard anything. The lady who answered the phone said she didn't have a record of the house being inspected and that she would find out more and get back to me. More like the "Z-Team." Awful customer service!We've been using the company since 2013 because the contractor who built our house used them to pretreat it before we bought. The customer service reps in the office apparently don't take accurate messages or fail to pass them along as several attempts (both via phone and online) this year to schedule our renewal inspection were unsuccessful. After 3 attempts, an appointment was finally made only to be cancelled by the technician 1/2 hour before showtime. I called and left a message to reschedule with the technician. That was 5 days ago and he NEVER called back. Needless to say, we transferred our business over to Terminix, who was able to beat their price AND showed up for the appointment. I had an appointment scheduled for yesterday. The technician was a no show. I called the office 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, to make sure he was still coming. The receptionist placed me on hold, then called the technician (I assume). Then the receptionist told me the technician was running late, but would be to my house in a few minutes. I called again 2 hours after my scheduled appointment time. The receptionist could not get him on the phone then, but promised to call me as soon as she spoke to him. I never received a call back from anyone. I called today and told them their services were no longer needed, and I've hired another company. read more

I switched to the X-Team two years ago when another big name company kept telling me I needed to have ALL THIS WORK DONE at a VERY expensive price. I was distraught beyond compare when a few friends referred me to the X Team. They came out and solved the problem quickly and at a fraction of the cost. Today I called as I noticed my de-humidifer isn't working and I already have an appointment scheduled for next week for Paul to come out. They were "Johnny on the spot" for treating my house and said they would return for a follow-up in 2 weeks. They never showed up. I called them back several times and she who answered said she would give him the message and he would return our call. He never did. I finally called them back and told them to not bother with coming back. read more

Never had a problem with them until today.... it was time for our quarterly spray - we got a phone call a week or two ago letting us know. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of family stuff going on which put the spray on the bottom of our list of things to get to right away...so I had not called them back right away... no big deal, when I am ready to schedule, I will call... or so that's how I would think it should work. Well today, Bob, one of the technicians, decided to come to my house and spray the outside. Someone was here, but watching my son, and was busy with him and was not expecting anyone so did not answer. He proceeded to spray with a huge hose from like 15 ft from the house, which typically they use their handheld sprayer. He then decided to let himself into my back yard without permission and spray out there...my sons toys are out there which I do not appreciate having around such chemicals. Furthermore, all of the bugs that were hiding along the outside foundation are now finding their way inside escaping the chemicals put on the outside... I have killed about 30-40 millipedes or centipedes since the spray. Usually the spray inside first then spray outside.... I don't know what Bob was thinking... I immediately called to complain and insisted that someone come immediately to spray inside as the bugs were continually coming in... Bob showed back up, I opened my door and greeted him and he asked how I was, and I said that I had been better....he followed up with a statement regarding that he could have been better too and cut me off when I was trying to tell him that I was a bit upset about him being here earlier and started yelling at me that he had called several of times, left several of messages, and knocked on the door today and no one answered then proceeded to look at the person that was here watching my son and said that he has seen them and they should have answered. He then said that he was just here to do his job and leave...all of this with an attitude so I told him that I did not want his services and he can leave me house immediately. And no, Bob, my guest does not need to answer my front door and handle my business unless I instructed them to. The owner, Phil, does not seem to care as he was not very eager to rectify the situation and make sure I was happy on my first two phone calls complaining... I will see what happens when they return my call in the morning, if they do that. read more
