A tour guide had recommended the Dessange group (similar a "MasterCuts" type franchise), noting that they might be a bit more expensive but worth it. They were! I was desperate when I went in and thrilled when I came out. Nice cut. Yannick spent time with me in "consult", sent me off to be shampooed. I opted for a manicure when I set up the appointment. Lousia was a delight making my experience a luxurious pampering (at least in my sorry traveling attire!). I do not speak French aside from a few pleasantries but I was made to feel quite at ease. Both Yannick and Lousia spoke very good English. I highly recommend Dessange and will look forward to another cut in a different city in France (quality assurance!)
