Maybe I'm easily impressed, but the shear number of salted, cured entire legs of pigs, with hooves still intact, hanging all around this small shop literally made my mouth water. Apparently, the hoof is left intact of all jamon Iberico to prove that it was indeed the rare breed only found in Spain.
The shop was a couple of blocks from our hotel, and I found myself frequenting it a couple of times during our stay. It's not cheap, but the service is great and there is a large selection of jamon Iberico, ranging from 40€/kg. to 189€/kg. for the prized Iberico de Bellota. In addition, there is a small selection pickled and canned items and other goodies.
