He looked everything over (two computers), heard my plea, and gave me what I wanted. Now I have the tool I need to do what I want to do. These days just to have a mailing list that works is a big deal, but now I've got one, and this has opened so many doors for me. Ken set me up to remote in to tie up any loose ends. Now, instead of two computers to do two jobs, now I've got one fast, all-in-one computer. I am happy! This guy can do anything!

I recently purchased a recliner from rent a center in Warsaw NY, The sales person Richard told me I…read morecould return it if it didn't work out, they delivered it the next day about noon, I called them at 6 pm the same day to say this isn't going to work for me, it was very uncomfortable, the woman Rachel said you bought it outright so we can't take it back, I told her Richard told me I could and she said that's why we encouraged you to rent it, that was NEVER mentioned once. I spoke with district manager the following day, her response was that's our policy, Richard should not have told you that. Lesson learned. I hope people realize they are paying double the price for whatever by renting. They were all very rude when I called back.

Inattentiveness and shoddy customer service. Not what one looks for in a HiFi audio dealer where…read morecustomers' audiophile systems often easily run from mid-five digits and into six-digit values. Unfortunately, over the course of one month of back-and-forth questions and answers to and from the owners and/or representatives of Vinyl Sound, this is most definitely a one-star review. Highly surprising from a hi-fi/audiophile retailer, as I've only had one other negative experience in my entire life from a different retailer. My requests were seemingly simple: 1) bearing oil for my Transrotor ZET 3.1 turntable; 2) replacement belts for the turntable, and; 3) a request regarding the possibility of making a cover for my turntable. Over a 29-day period, here is the breakdown, in number of days, of their response times to my various e-mail requests: 1, 5, 8, 0, 0, and finally, after waiting 14 days for a reply, I sent a final e-mail requesting an update but have yet to receive an answer. It's now 22 days without a reply at the time of this review. There are many other dealers to choose from. Select another that's not Vinyl Sound and likely be much more satisfied.

To all prospective and new customers:…read more I want to share my personal experience so others can make an informed decision. Eric is the individual who runs this business, and Daniel is a family member who is also involved. I want to give credit where credit is due--and I will also speak up when I feel something is not being handled properly. Eric is very good at selling the product and explaining the security side of the business. I also give credit where it is due regarding the installation itself. However, my concern began after the installation was completed. Initially, they were responsive when service was needed, including coming out for service calls with a $100 service charge. However, after one or two service visits, my experience with communication changed significantly. My calls and messages have gone unanswered, and I have had difficulty getting assistance with equipment that I am paying for. I tried to avoid posting anything because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and allow them an opportunity to address the situation. Unfortunately, that has not happened. At this point, I have a security system that is not properly recording and a camera that is not functioning, while I am still trying to get a response regarding the issue. I am sharing this review based on my own experience with the customer service and follow-up after installation. If the company would like to address the situation, they know who I am and are welcome to reach out. I believe businesses should be held accountable not only for selling and installing a product, but also for standing behind it and providing reasonable customer service afterward. Find yourself a reputable company and spend the money.
