If I could give ZERO stars I would. Where do I even begin. I bought a Groupon for this shop and I noticed that they had good reviews and nice pictures of their salon/nail art. I paid $75 (this is important). For gel manicure and gel pedicure. On their website it says walk-ins welcome and I tried to come one afternoon. I was denied service and was told by a lady up front that "we don't do walk ins appointments only" so I left and booked the appointment through call for the next day. When I arrived I was told I cannot add nail art as I did not book nail art on their website. (I asked for an ombré color, or diff colors.) The ladies were very rude and did not offer me wine but offered other guests wine (Assumed I was a child.) The nail tech Britnni was awful. She started she doesn't do acrylic nails (like why is she here then). And was incredibly dismissive. Beware of this "nail tech," as I sense she has some prejudice. THEY ARE NOT CLEAN/AND IS UNPROFESSIONAL. As they did my feet they used no plastics coverings to protect my feet, and they did not wear any gloves the entire appt. After working on my feet with NO GLOVES my the lady went straight into doing my nails with no gloves and WITHOUT WASHING her hands. As they did my nails they were actively EATINGG FOOD, all while not using gloves. I wasn't allowed to have any length added to my nails because I didn't book (extra length) which they charge you $10 for length on nails. They are extremely OVERPRICED, for SUBPAR nail services. My nails and toes aren't even painted straight and the nails are bulky with polish. They are unprofessional , and Incredibly rude and do not make any effort to accommodate you. Place was clean, nail techs were nice and did a good job on my nails. They had to push my nail appointment by 45 mins which was no big deal. When I got there, I had to wait an additional 45 mins, which annoyed me. I had to take my turn in visiting someone in the ICU, and I was late because of this. What was the point of making an appointment if I had to wait an additional hour and a half? When I originally called to make the appointment I added an eyebrow service. When they started to do my mani, I asked when the service would be complete. They said they did not have me for an eyebrow service and said that she didn't have time. Even though there was no one else in the place waiting, and they close at 7. (It was around 4:30/5 at this point) Guess she thought that yapping to her regular was more important than making a customer happy. So if you decide to book this place, double check that they all services are correct and make sure you have nothing important you need to do post appointment. read more

I'm a regular with Alex for my manicure and pedicure but any of the ladies will take good care of you.They offer services like lashes, facials (face and back), waxing, Mani/Pedi and the list gones on. Oh and there are specials from time to time so contact them for the deets. I've had the facial with Dayami and my skin felt so good. Mani/Pedi with Brittany and Mayelynn in a crunch... Went for the Pamper me Pretty package that I found on Groupon for a discount. The package includes a facial, gel mani, and spa pedi. My technician was Ashley. The facial was relaxing and my skin definitely felt better after but that's where it ended. I mentioned to the receptionist when I walked in that I want e gel on my toes and that I have dip on my nails, to which she became worried about the time. When I asked for an overlay I was told it takes too long and can't be accommodated but the soak off and gel on toes is an additional fee, which is fine for me. During the dip removal, the technician in the next chair had to tell her how to remove the dip with the efile and she ended up drilling too much on multiple nails that when I washed my hands before the gel polish, they were all red and sore. All the while she seemed rushed and my fingers came out all lumpy, different lengths, and overall not uniform. While doing my fingers, she asked if I have gel on my toes and when I confirmed she said I don't have time for the gel so I said okay. When I get to the pedi chair, the same person next to her told her not to use the gel remover on the toes and just efile it off. Thankfully my toes look decent and she ended up doing the he gel but I feel like I need to spend time and money that I didn't plan for again to get my fingernails fixed. This was my first time doing a spa day since July 2023 because I have 4 children, 1 being 8 months old, and it takes a lot of coordination between everyone's schedules for me to get some time to do self care. It feels like there was no buffer time between appointments in case of unexpected changes and, had I known, I would have soaked off my own nails as they have never before been in such condition. My husband complained about my nails and even said that the difference between this and my usual work is huge and he felt bad my spa day wasn't as good as we expected. My nose also has a huge red opening from where a pimple was aggressively extracted during my facial. I have hormonal acne and know not to pick my face, I'm used to just letting it go away on its own but I thought the extractions in the facial wouldn't be an issue since I've had them done before but now I'm looking at permanent scarring in my nose because of it. She said the redness would go away the next day but 48 hours later, it looks worse than when the pimple was just there. read more

Looked up on Yelp (thanks for all the reviews) and booked an appointment with Brittany Sossong (very convenient online appointment system). Beautiful interior, I was taken to the station right on time & offered a coffee as well! Brittany was very thorough and I really liked all the products they were using. I love this small nail boutique! It is very unexpected in a small plaza off of Michigan and Bundy. With two of my tips popped off I needed to soak off my Nexgen and get gel on my nails until I can go to my regular tech down south a week from now. First off the person the phone was very professional and with GPS being inaccurate on the time we would arrive, also very patient!! When we came in all colors were organized by colors with gels behind the normal color. Dip IS available at this location but not the brand of NEXGEN. They do use new nail kits for every guest and recycle sanitized foot scrubs and brushes. Wine, coffee, and water is available for refreshments. They have porcelain foot station and high top manicure stations. A few of the pictures are taken with the chandelier lighting but the place is usually well lit with the ceiling lights on as well. Our nail tech was very pleasant and held great conversation! She was also very nice with my daughter. I was introduced to this salon by a friend and boy am I glad a was. It is a little out of the way for me, but I can make the trip every couple of weeks to get my hands and feet done - its so worth it! Its a cute little shop in SoDo with a GREAT staff! Everyone I've encountered is so nice and wonderful at what they do. On Mondays and Wednesdays they have a $48 special where you get a Gel Manicure and Spa Pedicure. Great deal and a nice way to treat yourself! I haven't been regularly getting my nails done in YEARS, but after one trip to Xclusive I'm back to it! I do the Mani/Pedi special once a month and get the gel polish switched out in between. Came across this nail salon based off the great reviews on Yelp. I was a little skeptical due to some of their recent bad reviews, but they had so many nice pictures that I decided to give it a shot. I made an appointment with Alex through Yelp around 1AM for the 2:00PM slot the same day. I came in around 1:45PM and they took me in around 2:10PM. The interior design of this salon is so cute and aesthetic! Not like your typical salons. The area is somewhat small and it was a little hard to find at first. As far as my appointment, I was so pleased with my experience here. I showed Alex a picture of what I wanted, and she replicated it beautifully! Alex took her time and was very friendly. I definitely plan to make the extra 15 minute drive here. Prices are a little steep, depending on what designs you get, but it's expected. I spent $70+ tip for acrylic gel manicure. read more

I LOVE my nails! After paying $27.00 for a fill that lifted (WTF!) I decided I needed to find a new salon. I looked to my Yelp friends for a recommendation and they did not let me down. This is NOT a chop shop but a REAL salon staffed by people who know what they are doing and for a very reasonable price ($13 for a fill....that doesn't lift to boot!). The decor is actually attractive and inviting....and unique (like someone put some thought into it). The owner who did my nails (I think her name is Alex) hooked me up with a gel polish to try on my acrylics and I LOVE it. They really look great and no sitting around for a half hour waiting for the damn things to dry. Oh, and a glass of shiraz too. Yum! Someone in another review mentioned this would be a great place for a girls night out and I agree. The first time I went there everything went well , they and I'll say again THEY booked me for the following appointment a few weeks out, the day of the appointment they called me to let me know the tech Brittany was running 15 min late I said no problem. Once I got there I waited another 15 min, when I sat down I showed her the pic of what I wanted and she said " I can't do that, not enough time, you had to make the appointment right" when they never asked me when they booked it for me, so I said ok can you just make them black? Please BEWARE!!! I used to love this place until my last visit here a few weeks ago. I had an appointment and was assigned to a new nail tech. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure. The same day I left the salon my nails were already peeling and I had to come in the next day to fix them. As I removed the polish on my toes this week I noticed my nails are yellow and I may have a toenail fungus. I had to go to the doctor and got both my big toe nails removed. I just had a Signature pedicure with Jomary and it was one of the best pedicures I have ever had. She was very detailed and so meticulous on my toes, took her time and did the perfect job. It was so relaxing. My feet and legs were massaged 4 times! She applied a cucumber scrub and massage, then a leg masque and massage, then a coconut oil and massage, lastly another oil and massage. It was so heavenly. The salon was very clean and very nicely decorated. Upon arrival, I was offered a glass of of wine. Everyone in the salon is fantastic at what they do and really take the time to make sure you're happy with your nails and you're getting exactly what you ask for. I've been several places around Orlando and the surrounding areas to get my nails done and since getting mine done with Alex for the past year, my broken nails have been VERY few and far between. Please don't hate me. I concur with what a lot of others have written. It is a very lovely and welcoming environment, the prices are more than reasonable, and sure my nails looked really beautiful when I left. It has been well over two years since I have had my nails done. Why, you ask? Two main reasons: 1. The Fungus among us. It ain't cute my friends. I noticed the sanitizing system in service noted on the front door, and that did ease my discomfort, which is why I decided to give it a go. Fungus is not healthy, and I've had friends with it who never return to salons because it takes so long to heal. Like years, literally. 2. Toxins I am trying to make my life as toxic free as I can. Resins, chemicals and allergens used in nail services can affect nail health, and is an issue especially if you are pregnant. But after watching a marathon of Mad Men and seeing the sad and miserable Betty Draper's perfect nails, I just had to try again. After all, no one can be 100% toxic free, and I really LOVE nails!!! Enjoy life, right? So what's the problem? My manicure experience. The manicurist did not seem to be concerned with my comfort or wishes. When I sat at the bar, a gel polish light device was in the way. She worked on my nails while my arm was resting on TOP of it. I asked her if it could be moved, and she moved it slightly to the left, WITH my arm still on top of it. Seriously? So, at a stopping point, I moved the entire UV light to the side so that my arms could rest comfortably on the bar. I showed the manicurist the shape of nail I wanted. It's more of an almond shape, instead of super pointy. When she began to shape the nail, she did not ask if it was the shape I was seeking. So, I told her. I told her the shape was too pointy, and I wanted something more rounded. She then began to tell me how it was not all that pointed, and how most people get theirs a lot more pointy, how she does this style all the time, and mine were not that pointy. Seriously? I'm TELLING you they are too pointy, and they are MY nails. These are not other people's nails. So, again I asked her if she could round them out, and she then began to tell me all the reasons why the LOOKED more pointy than they were. . . I just. . . So, I brought my own polish. Butter London and Julep because they lack toxins that other polishes sometimes have. She was fine with using them, and my nails looked really pretty. So, time for the nails to dry, and one nail hits the fan, and it's nicked. A big ding on the nail polish. The manicurist saw the ding and did not correct it! I have been in hole in the wall places that make sure to correct mess up dings!! She just rubbed her finger over it and did not re-apply the polish. I could not believe a manicurist would let someone walk out the shop with a big nail ding like that, but she did. So, after leaving, I accepted my nails more pointy than requested. After a day or so, I decided to cut them and round them out more like I wanted them. Much better. . . But every time I looked at my pretty nails, I thought of how someone didn't listen to what I wanted, and I got upset all over again. I had to get rid of the experience. I went to Bliss and had them removed in less than a week. The people there did not understand why I wanted such pretty nails removed. . .but I did. Maybe I'll try again. . .with a different manicurist? in another 2 years? read more

I have gotten acrylic nails done for years but had taken a hiatus to attempt growing my own and doing at home gel polish (not successfully I might add). I live downtown and started my search on Yelp to find a nearby salon and happened upon this amazing little gem. I've been back 3x and have my appointments lined up! (They send you reminder emails a day or two prior to your next service which is great.) As soon as you walk in you can see and experience the difference of what a nail salon should be. It's cute, artsy and a cozy atmosphere. You are immediately greeted and offered a beverage (wine is a plus in the evening after a long day at work!) the color selection is excellent with matching gel colors to regular polish mostly OPI and other high quality brands. Everything is very clean and sanitary and the techs take the time to keep it that way in between their clients. The pedicure is very relaxing, comfortable and my feet looked and felt wonderful. As far as acrylics go, Alex is spot on with the shape and precision! I've been some places that they don't take the time to ensure your nails lengths and widths are matching - definitely not the case here. My gel polish could easily last 3 weeks but I personally just love having a fresh set with new colors and designs more regularly so I treat myself. Bottom line - this place rocks and I won't go anywhere else. They do facials as well, I will be trying those out very soon! read more

Anytime I get invited for mani/pedi...im in! Especially with my closest friends in a private party setting. We were able to bring in some food to snack on while we sipped on the free wine and it really make for a chill relaxing atmosphere. It was decorated really cute. I wasn't a huge fan of the chair bench you sit on while you get your pedi, wasn't very comfortable because its at a 90 degree angle with some pillows for comfort. I also questioned there sanitation of the instruments they used because they were just pulled out of the caddy. I had the worst experience possible. She made my acrylic full set wayyyy too thick, I asked her to make them thinner several times and every time I was met with a rude remark and told it wasn't possible despite getting my nails done this way for the past 6 years. I tried this place because they had cute designs on their Instagram and was willing to pay the nearly double they charge. My nails came out with and incorrect shape, different lengths, and still too thick. Finally another woman came by to try to fix them and I was just frustrated and the original woman told her in Spanish if I didn't like them to just take them off so I could leave. I mentioned that I understood Spanish and that was a good idea and the woman doing my nails tried to fix the situation by saying she meant it in a good way but I simply told her I heard exactly what they said and no she didn't. Ultimately they charge well over 75% more than their competitors and are extremely disrespectful and do a below average job. I regret trying them out and encourage everyone to instead visit Paris nails on Summerlin, where you will be meet with exceptional service from the sweetest family where they will also provide stunning nails you're sure to get complimented on. Xclusive nails provides awful service and ugly nails. Save your money. Update: this is the result after 2 people and the owner fixing them. The shape is definitely better and closer to what I wanted but the ends aren't straight and they are completely different lengths. I ended up leaving without polish because they were so rude to me and kept making excuses for doing an awful job. At the end the owner did apologize and tried to make up for the experience but I wish she had said something to the first nail tech when she said in Spanish "if she doesn't like them just take them off" because she wanted me to leave and assumed I didn't speak Spanish. read more

Your appointment time is confirmed with a deposit and I think that ensures everything runs smoothly and on time. You are required to wear a mask due to COVID19 concerns and only a certain number of people allowed in the salon at a time. This definitely made me feel better and a little more safe with the virus. I wanted to find a nail salon that would make me feel incredibly special for my big day. After researching various locations... We took Colleen's advice and went to Xclusive. As soon as we stepped in... My bridesmaids and I felt like we were going to get the royal treatment. And we did. This is not your typical nail salon. It honestly feels like a mini getaway. The salon is so modern and beautiful. The pedicure area is charming and relaxing. These girls really know how to take care of you as soon as you step in. Alex immediately offered us tea, coffee, water... Whatever we needed. We had brought our own champagne and OJ (hey... I was getting married! I needed to celebrate!) and she poured us girls glasses and refilled as needed. I asked for a custom nail on my ring finger and the girl who took care of me (can't remember her name but she was funny and really attentive!) HOOKED ME UP. Everyone kept asking where I got my nails done. The only downside is that they are a bit expensive... But you get what you pay for and my gel mani lasted a solid 3 weeks. On Mondays and Wednesdays, they offer a gel mani/reg pedi for $48. If you've never had a gel manicure, you should give this offer a try. You will be hooked! My nails stay chip-free for two to three weeks each time. Plus they offer complimentary wine during your visit. You can also book private parties and have a fun spa night with your friends. The only downside is the parking, which is minimal, but it's oh so worth it to walk out with fabulous nails that you can't stop staring at. I have gone to the same nail tech for over two years, but after build up of frustration at her constant tardiness as well as a few other issues, I opted to find a new salon and tech. I'm really particular about my nails and I was really nervous about going anywhere new. From the moment I walked into this salon, I felt welcomed. First off, the decor and atmosphere is so cute! The staff are all friendly and professional. My only "complaint" that isn't really a complaint was that the tech I was originally scheduled for, was behind and I was placed with someone else, who was nice, but very slow. After about an hour of her doing my nails, I noticed they weren't looking how I had hoped so before I let her do any further I asked a question and then Alex came over and took a look. Needless to say, Alex ended up finishing my nails (and she was REALLY fast and thorough) and I left as a happy customer with beautiful nails. I would highly recommend this place to others. I recently organized a Bridal Party group to get our nails and toes done prior to the wedding we were all in. All the bridesmaids had complimented me on my nails over the course of the showers, so they asked to check out Xclusive for their wedding nails. Our group of 6 had wonderful service and a great experience in booking the services and getting the services completed. Since I was Matron of Honor, I coordinated and booked all the services and that meant making a few changes as the date got closer- which Xclusive was totally great about. The ladies at Xclusive were very welcoming as the gals arrived the day of and created a very festive atmosphere for our group. There were several comments from the group at how cute and chic the atmosphere was, and how nice and clean everything was throughout the whole spa. Everything is always neat as a pin, but as a regular I take that for granted. Some of our group had gel nail services, some had regular polish- whatever the service, everyone left feeling very pampered, very happy and with beautiful nails and toes. The nail design work is always beautiful, for the wedding I had a natural polish (OPI Glints of Glenda) with sparkly glittery tips and an accent nail. What a nice break from a typical french manicure for a formal event, but it still works for my everyday life. (pic posted) The rest of the bridal party either wore Vampires Buff or the new Don't Bossa Nova Me, depending on their skin tone, with sparkly tips. Super friendly staff, good music, and complimentary drinks. After reading reviews and a few of my friends recommending this place to me, I found myself with an evening away from work and called for a last minute appointment. They got me in and didn't complain once that I kept them way past closing. I don't get my nails done on a regular basis anymore, but I did make my next appointment. PS: I did see them clean the tub when I was done. read more
