My internet service has been dropping out several times a day for a while now. I've tried a couple times to go through the chat bot to figure out what's going on. The improvement. Texting with an agent provided me an answer. My modem is bad. All I have to do is go to the Xfinity store and get a new modem. I'm looking at all of these other reviews where people are saying that customer service was terrible, employees lied, customers needs were not met, and customers were tricked changing things with their plans. That's the opposite of what I've experienced whenever I've been in touch with a live agent at Xfinity. They've all been very pleasant, helpful, compassionate, and friendly. I suppose I've been lucky. I haven't had any major issues with my Internet service. And any issues I have had they've been resolved to my satisfaction. I can definitely understand everyone has their own experience though. Juan David is THE BEST!! We've had horrible service/help at Xfinity before. Thankfully we got Juan David this time. He went above and beyond to help us. The problem took several weeks, but he kept us updated to its progress and really work hard to fix our issues!! He even gave us his personal cell number in case we had any questions. Xfinity has pretty awful customer service. Their robot phone call just wants to send text messages and restart your modem for 10 minutes. It takes forever to get an actual person on the line and when you finally get one. They want to restart your modem. Or send someone out for $100. Im pretty sure its because I dont want to pay the extra $15/month to rent their equipment when I have my own. read more

I've been talking to 6 agents today for about 9 hours now. Got told my issue would be resolved four time. An agent put a ticket in for me it was cancelled 10 minutes afterwards. They are shady and will try to get you to start the process over and over till you give up. I'm frankly disappointed in the entire company. read more

xfinity has by far, the worst customer service of any corporation...it takes almost fifty minutes to speak to a customer service person..it didn't used to be this way. I will never walk into this store again! The employee that was "helping" me appeared surly when all I was doing was returning equipment and asking about my bill. He was disrespectful and not kind. Our Internet was out from December, 2019 until February 2020. Once we reported the outage, a technician was dispatched to us on the same day and discovered the cable box at the street connection was disabled. A new part was needed but a road crew had to fix it. The technician did not have the capability. He called the road crew and put in the work order. We were told it would be fixed in a couple of days. We saw two cable trucks stop at the street box and work on the box but no information was passed to us and our Internet remained out. I called Customer Service nine times over the course of 5 weeks. Each time I had to go through the entire history of our service and problem; each time they wanted to reboot the system, which I humored them and obliged; each time they told me a Road Crew Supervisor would call me to give me status on the repair. I never received a call back....EVER, except from their auto-survey to rate their service. One of the calls I made to Customer Service I asked for a credit on my bill for the time my Internet had been out; the representative convinced me to end my service and restart saying this was the only way she could provide a credit to my bill. My $80.00 per month basic cable bill plus Internet) is now $121.00 per month since that conniving representative made that switch on my service. If I had any other choice in McGaheysville, VA I would choose it. Comcast- Xfinity has been a customer service nightmare and that one representative lied to me, which now costs me more money! I had an install date set this week. A lady from Comcast calls me today May 23rd 2018 and tells me that they have to dig a wire and it will be 30 to 45 days before I can get TV and internet. I have been using the hot spot for the last week because I was pending for an install. So I tell her just leave my account pending. She cancels my account so I lose Wi-Fi and have no way of getting it back even for the two weeks that are allotted for it. So now I have to pay $8 a day for Wi-Fi because they weren't honest and upfront with me in the first place and didn't tell me that they would have to dig a wire and it could be two months before I would get any kind of service. I called customer service and spoke with Damien and he was completely unhelpful and really seemed like he just didn't care that they just screwed up my account. He even told me it was a 14 day trial for the Wi-Fi. He then told me him or supervisor or nobody there could help me with the situation. He told me there was nothing they could do for me and that it was the County's fault and it wasn't a blame game. Needless to say I will not be going to Comcast for any of my future needs and let everyone know and this new subdivision how terrible their business model is and that they can screw over customers and do nothing to fix anything. read more
