Nice hotpot restaurant! Meat quality was good. The handcrafted noodles and broth were the best things available. We got the chicken fish maw broth! We wished there were more vegetables to pick from. Areas that could be improved would be expanding the sauce bar. There could be more variety compared to other hotpot restaurants in the area. The dessert was also very limited to just the jello dessert, which was okay. Overall, it was okay for hotpot, but for the price and limited selections, there are better options available.

I came here on a Friday night with a friend and it wasn't too busy. The interior was beautifully-designed with a sauce bar and plenty of seating for both large and small groups. Ordering is done off an iPad, but the staff was active and attentive. We ordered the tomato pot and beef tallow pot with medium spice. The tomato was good, but didn't have quite the same depth as the beef tallow. The latter was rich, fatty and quite spicy- better than most broths I've tried at other hot pot places. The vegetable platter and meat platter had good variety came with plenty of food for two people. The total cost for both platters and the soup base was under $60 after tax, which was less than I initially expected. I'd like to return and try a bigger variety of some of their vegetable offerings, like the taro or lotus root.

Decent place, you need to know what to order though, and spicy is actually spicy. Wouldn't order bone broth or mushroom again. Meats are good quality and hand pulled noodles are good Beautifully decorated interior but there were some flies buzzing around that was off-putting Staff is very attentive and nice

Clean and spacious restaurant. The buffet area is pretty small compared to other places. Everything is a la carte and you order off of a tablet. Pacing of how they brought the food was timely. The soup base was good and you can get 2 kinds for the table. Certain items had larger portion sizes compared to others.

I'm loving all the new hotpot places in Atlanta and this one is no exception. When I entered the restaurant the first thing I noticed was how good the hotpot smelled lol. Their spicy broth is pretty spicy but it actually has really good flavor. It's probably my favorite spicy broth out of all these hotpot places I've tried. I also like that they have a variety of sauces to choose from the sauce bar, and also some small side dishes like their peanuts were good. I ordered a side of fried milk and it's so delicious! I'm not quite sure where else you can get this in Atlanta so I was happy to find it here. I love their dessert bar too. Very refreshing after eating hotpot. Overall everything was great and good quality but a little on the pricey side esp since it's not all you can eat.

Came to try the new lunch sets they came out with. One set is $20. If you want the spicy soup it is $2 extra. We both got the beef sets, with one tomato soup and one spicy tallow soup. The service here was friendly and they refilled our soups. They also provided us with aprons and hair ties ! The set came with beef, vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, noodles and lots of different fish balls. At the end of the meal we also got ice cream! Overall, would come back here for dinner as well to try out their larger hot pots. The space was amazing too, clean and well decorated!

The food was good, the regular beef was good and fatty so it wasn't chewy after cooking. The premium fatty beef was thin and delicious. As for the broth, personally I think the spicy broth was a little too oily, however the flavor was good. The other bone broth was perfectly fine. The staff was quick and I like the IPad used to order so we don't have to bother servers. The fruit teas were good and a low price the ambiance was nice, the interior is clean and nicely decorated. The plating was also nice, gives more value to the price of everything.

The decor is really nice. However, service is slow and the broth was very bland. I think it's pricey compared to the selection on the menu and taste of the food.

Really great spot for hotpot and they offer BYOB!! The broth was really good & flavorful. We got the beef tallow and mushroom base. I love the beef tallow cause of the spicy kick it gave (my spice tolerance is pretty high). If I'm not sweating or crying, I don't want it. If you're not good with spice, they do offer mild but if your spice tolerance sucks, good luck - you might leave crying It is a bit on the pricier side but the quality is really good. Overall, we left happy & satisfied. Super beautiful interior as well.

My fav hotpot place in Georgia ! Been here 5x already !!! my sister is also super picky when it comes to hotpot since we usually do it at home !

I'm so excited for the new hotpot spot! They specialize in chongqing hotpot. You will first start with choosing your broth. They have a wide variety of broths to choose from like beef tallow (super spicy), tomato, mushroom based, and more. The broths were so rich and full of flavor. Our top choices for broth is always the beef tallow and tomato. Afterwards, you can place your order for meats, veggies, and other ingredients through the tablet. The meats were high quality and the veggies were so fresh.I really loved the pepper beef because it was tender. They also have fruit teas and drinks to add to your hotpot The service is very friendly and sweet. They will answer any questions you have. The atmosphere is beautiful and designed so well. They have various types of seatings from booths to regular tables. Please note they are currently having their soft opening so there will be a limited menu and there might be delay because they are still learning. Can't wait for their official grand opening!

We went during soft opening. The interior was fantastic! We really appreciated the staff for serving us while also doing their best to learn. Staff spoke both English and Mandarin. We ordered one of every meat and some veggie options alongside some appetizers. It was all really delicious and definitely felt higher quality than other hotpot places in Duluth! I'm excited to visit again and optimistic they can iron out some of their processes! This has the potential to be a nice premium hotpot in Duluth!

Date of Visit March 13th, 2024 When I found out a new fancy Hot Pot Chinese place was opening, I had to check it out, so took myself to lunch there for my birthday. Being lunch time it was very quiet, but a very memorable and delicious lunch. ATMOSPHERE/DECO While located in a strip mall, the restaurant and décor are on the fancy side. Very clean, bright and inviting. It is fairly large but I can see them having some wait on weekends as the meals take a while with Hot Pot. They have a sauce bar that is on the small size but have all you need. SERVICE Most of the ordering is done on ipad but the waiters are attentive and fairly fast. As it was my first time there, I made sure to tell the waiter and he explained the process to me. PRICE This is not a all you can eat place, and it can get pretty pricey depending on what you are ordering. I had a double flavor pot, mushroom and quail eggs as side and premium beef, pork belly and lamb as protein, the total was about $100. The protein portion are pretty large, and 2 meat orders would have likely been enough for me (But I wanted to try as much as my stomach could handle! Lol) FOOD Everything was very good, they have a choice of 3 flavor of the pot, they had 4 but they were out of one of them. I got the spicy Beef Tallow in mild, and let me tell you, it was still very spicy. I asked the waiter if they made a mistake, and he said that I had the mild, and that in the region of China were the chef is from people eat food extremely spicy. So while the beef tallow base was great, if you are not into spicy food I would stay away that one and get the Tomato or mushroom base. I had the tomato and it was very good. The mushroom were large and not the easiest thing to eat, but the quail eggs were surprisingly good and perfect addition to the meal. As far as the meats, everything was great. The beef was superbly marbled and so flavorful, the pork belly and lamb were delicious. For non-meat eaters, they had a few seafood and vegetarian (lot of tofu) options as well. You do get complimentary ice cream at the end, and it's very welcome and refreshing after such a big (Spicy) meal. MISCELLEANOUS There is plenty parking as the restaurant is in a strip mall. I did not visit the bathroom so cannot comment on those. All the menu is on an ipad and you can put item in a cart and send directly to kitchen. They do have some unusual item (well to me) that are Chinese delicacies I believe, like duck intestine or pig brain. Didn't try any that time, but maybe next. The table of Chinese people next to me seemed to really enjoy the pig brain. Because eating Hot Pot can be messy, you can ask for a paper apron and trust me you do want one! In Conclusion, definitely one of the best hot pot I ever been too, great election of flavors and protein, I will be back. Each experience is just as enjoyable as the first, and the quality remains consistently impressive. The customer service is excellent, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. There is also a wide variety of ingredients available to customize your bowl. Since everything is priced by weight, I recommend selecting only as much as you are prepared to eat. Having tried every option on the menu, my top recommendation is the spicy hot pot beef broth. It is extremely flavorful, though customers should be mindful when choosing their spice level, as even the medium option can be quite spicy. My second favorite is the dry spicy mix, shown in my photo. After experimenting with the different broths, this became my preferred choice. However, it is best suited for those who enjoy a drier style, and the spice level tends to feel more intense compared to the soup-based options. My third choice is the tomato beef broth, which was my least favorite personally. Lastly, the spicy and sour beef broth was acceptable, though it did not particularly appeal to my taste.

While waiting for our hot pots and meat, I checked out the hot bar, which had side dishes like tteokbokki, japchae, fried rice, and more. I had some dishes from the bar as little appetizers, and they were tasty. For meats, we mostly ordered the non-fatty beef, brisket, and rib-eye. The meat quality was good. My boyfriend also ordered a round of clams and mussels. I personally wasn't too interested because they looked a bit unappealing, but he said they were okay. As a quick intermission from the shabu, we both enjoyed the shaved ice dessert. Unfortunately, near the end of our dining experience, while finishing our last plate of meat, my boyfriend noticed something crawling on the table. He lifted the water cup and found an inchworm. We think it may have come from one of the vegetables we grabbed earlier. We notified our server, who simply squished it and asked if we wanted a new cup. We declined and decided to leave. The inchworm incident definitely brought the experience down significantly, even though it happened near the end of our meal, and it honestly made me consider giving this place only two stars. However, I'm hoping it was just an unlucky mistake because I otherwise enjoyed 9292 Shabu and hope they improve their sanitation practices moving forward.

The Chinese herbal soup was really flavorful. When the meat was soaking in it, I could taste the flavor that was soaked through. I highly recommend this base. The spicy soup was extra, but the reasoning they said was because it's from China. And even getting the very mild was pretty spicy. The concept of going to the four fridges and grabbing your hot pot ingredients was interesting. It's such a waste of skewers though! But the fridge had veggies, skewered meats, seafood, noodles, and much more. Since this is an all you can eat place, you can grab any item freely. I do think they will charge you if there's excess food leftover. Well, says the sign anyway. The lamb and beef were the only two free meat options, but you can order this as much as you can eat. The brown sugar rice cake and crispy fried pork were very unique items that's also in the unlimited menu option. There was also interesting tidbits at the bar area near the sauce bar like beef jerky bits, peanuts, and sweet potato balls with a taro interior. Overall very unique ingredients you can order or extra menu items like pig brain, duck jelly, duck tongue among others. Our group didn't venture into trying these though. The ingredients already included were just as good though.
